That's right! You might have seen this coming from me, but yeh. I'm crazy about music. So, what I'm trying to do here is make a thread entailing music. So, post a list of songs, right an elaborate essay on why one song kicks so much a**, post lyrics (if they don't stretch the page, haha), and speaketh of music and mp3 players and such! biggrin

Right on for the music thread dood!
Nirvana The Man who Sold the World
We passed upon the stairs We spoke in was and when All though I wasn't there He said I was his friend
Which came as a surprise I spoke into his eyes I thought you died alone, a long long time ago. Oh no, not me
We never lost control You're face, to face with the man who sold the world
I laughed and shook his hand Made my way back home I searched my former land For years and years I roamed
I gazed a gazeless stare We walked a million hills I must have died alone, a long long time ago.
Who knows? Not me I never lost control You're face, to face with the man who sold the world
Who knows? Not me I never lost control You're face, to face with the man who sold the world

Yep, but Nirvana also played it and it's on a CD I have. David Bowie was also the very sexual Goblin King in the Labyrinth, an old classic.

Hooray music! Let's talk about 7th species counterpoint, inner voices, parallel intervals, consonances and dissonances within harmonization and my favorite: triads. What is your favorite chord progression? I think my favorite is the classic I, IV V, I.
