I'm bringing my guitar to school tuesday as part of a project, and nobody there will recognize chords and scales as anything special. I want to impress some people.
I need a solo that sounds hard, and pretty damn cool, that won't take me longer then 3-4 days to get down solid.
You know the kind I'm talking about.

Captain Booty V Rusted Chains v2 Californication isn't impressive enough. Leif Erikson wasn't too epic either. Something by Gun's N' Roses? Sweet Child of Mine? Sweet Child of Mine is a big possibility. I was thinking freebirdddddd.

the leif erikson solo is one of the greatest placed solos in the history of modern music, in my opinion. you really need to listen to the full album to get it full force

Them Bones by alice in chains. It's the generic rock solo with ******** of distortion, tone swells and some wah wankage. Do it man.
It's chromatic, but no one will complain if they don't know what the ******** that means.
