it is from 2000 or early 2001, there is no way it could be still new

No I wouldn't think so, Love Hina ended with 14 and he's working with Negima now...so I don't think there ever will be a volume 15...

Those are the novels. The first one wasn't even written by Akamatsu. The person who did the screenplay for the anime was the one who wrote the first one. ReviewThe second is by Akamatsu and takes place between when Keitaro leaves and Kanako arrives. Review
