On cue, trouble poked it's head up over the rim of the windowsill. Slate grey ears twitched and perked upright inquisitively, an bright green eyes peered into the darkened room, glowing against a shadowed face as a full moon illuminated her from behind. "Hmm.. I wonder what's in here? Maybe it could be fun..." With a little effort, the young Korat made her way onto the sill completely before dropping inside with a soft 'thmp.' Her long tail wiggled eagerly, and she quietly snuck through the room, pausing at an open doorway and peering around it into the room of sleeping machines. "What's this?" Blinks up at the dark objects and tilts her head slightly before wandering into the room and walking amongst them, tail waving pensively behind her. Having not seen the place when it was active, nor ever having been inside an arcade before, Natsuki had no idea what to expect from the towers and strange objects all around her.

Everything was quiet and still as the Korat made her way through the room, that is, until a machine suddenly roared to life. Natsuki jumped from the suddenly bright lights that flashed on nearby, every short grey hair on her pelt standing up as she turned to face the neon machine with bright green eyes. Ears that had been flattened in the shock, perked forward when she noticed a pudgy little cat sitting on a metal pad in front of the beast. Although it was hard to see her at first, Natsuki soon recognized the floopy ears and cheerful expression of that cat she had met in the forest. Cautiously padding over to put her forepaws on the dance pad, Natsuki looked up at Nikki and tilted her head. "Hi... What are you doing here?" She mewed slowly, looking up at the towering thing above them that had started flashing lights and playing some kind of tune, "And what is this thing... Is it something to play with?" Slowly, the Korat's tail waved, and she flicked an ear as the machine boomed about selecting players.

Natsuki barely had time to react before the other cat was bowling her over. "Ouf!" She gasped, blinking up at Nikki as she began talking a mile a minute. Glancing up at the machine as well, the Korat smiled a little excitedly. "Oh! I see... So, we have to jump on those blinking squares, then?" Getting up, she follwed the scottish fold over to the dance pad again and climbed on top of it to get a better look at the arrows. The machine boomed overhead again, drawing the girl's attention. As she gazed up at it, she noticed some little square buttons flashing. "I think we have to push those first..." Indicating them with her finger, Natsuki prepared herself to jump. There was a small ledge just to either side of the big screen; reaching those buttons would be easy from there. With a powerful lunge, the young cat was scrambling onto the platform and turning into position. Reaching over, she pawed at the blinking buttons, making the machine react as she pressed them.

Natsuki had her ears perked up as she pawed the buttons, listening to the machine talk and trying to see what was happening on the screen from her angle. As she was only mashing one button, the Korat managed to set up a single player game, and the machine was yelling at her to select music. Nearly slipping from her perch, Natsuki lost the button she was pressing and began hitting an arrow button now instead. Different songs began playing as she cycled through them, and she blinked and tilted her head at the machine, realizing a new tune would play every time she pushed the button. "Nikki-chan!" She called down to the fold, "I think I'm getting the hang of this! Do you like any of these musics?" The Korat still had no idea what the purpose of this game was, but the lights seemed to react to what they were doing, and she could even set the music that would play. It was exciting enough for her.

Natsuki jumped when the Fold below her suddenly squeaked in excitement. Blinking down at her, the Korat nodded and peered over at the buttons for a moment, trying to figure out how to go back. She observed the arrow button she was pushing, then noticed a larger button in the middle with some writing on it that she couldn't read, and then further over was another one of those arrow buttons. Perching herself carefully, Natsuki reached over to the second arrow button and managed to hit it a few times before loosing her balance. Fortunately, that had been enough, because Nikki's song started up again. With a happy wave of her tail, the girl jumped down to rejoin her friend on the dancepad. Of course, the Korat hadn't started the game due to not knowing what she was supposed to do, but the timer soon ran out and the game started on it's own. A brief pause and Nikki's song began playing again, at the same time, the four arrows on the dance pad flashed in unison and lights on the machine began flashing in alternating patterns. Natsuki turned bright green eyes up to the large screen to see what was happening, several bright colors were moving about and swirling together in a variety of ways, and there were arrows floating from the bottom of the screen to fit into outlines at the top of the screen before disappearing. It was exciting to watch, but the Korat girl wondered what they were supposed to do with that. After so many arrows, the machine suddenly boomed again, booing the two cats.

Natsuki giggled at her friend's response to the unfavorable sounds the game was making, apparently at them, and wagged her tail joyfully. When Nikki seemed to be working towards figuring something out though, the Korat lifted her ears and watched carefully; she also noticed the change in pitch of the voices in the game, and watched how the Fold played. "I think you're right, Nikki-chan!" The girl grinned and bounced across the pad to hit the left arrow. She was a little off, but was in position to jump at the up arrow instead. After a few tries, Natsuki began getting the hang of the game. She began swaying her body in time with the beat and eagerly hopped back and forth on her designated arrows. "Wow, this game is fun after all!" She giggled happily, spinning to another arrow and bouncing on it a few times. Her tail whipped and waved to a beat of it's own as the Korat's hips continued to rock with the tempo.

Natsuki also noticed the cheers of praise raining down on them from above and giggled to herself, dancing lightly from one arrow to the other, back and forth. While she still wasn't certain of the purpose of it, she was definitely having fun with it. Finally, the music faded out and the arrows stopped coming, but like her friend, the Korat kept pressing her designated buttons, just to be sure. Flicking an ear as Nikki hopped off the pad, Natsuki walked over and sat at the edge of it to watch, her own shoe-less feet dangling off the side. "I'm pretty sure we won, Nikki-chan! That was a lot of fun though!" With a bright smile, the grey-furred girl's eyes sparkled as she glanced around the other dark, dormant machines in wonder, "So are all of these towering things fun games like that? I wonder if they're different?" A long tail wagged excitedly behind the girl as she though about it, and she kicked her legs a little, waiting for her friend to sooth her aching feet. Much more used to dancing about like that, Natsuki was merely a little winded. "So, how do you bring them to life like this one, Nikki-chan?" With a tilt of her head, bright green eyes fixed on the Scottish Fold with excited curiosity.
