His memory still wasn't functioning as it should, for he couldn't quite remember if he'd ever threaded upon this land before. Still, it didn't seem to matter. At least, not for the time being; while it was true he couldn't remember events of the past, Samsara was still very much tuned with his domain, and could feel the balance of Karma within this lands had tipped dangerously. The mildly entertaining part of the ordeal was that the balance was tipped in different directions, and for quite a fair bit of individuals.
He'd left Kairi asleep at a den they'd found, a bit away from the border of the war that seemed to have been raging the land. She was unsure why he'd insisted on staying there for so long, for he was usually keen on moving often, going from place to place. Alas, there was so very much going on at once within the territory, that the blue hued god had needed several days to inspect it all and get a grip of the situation at hand.
It had taken him a long while, but he'd finally hatched a plan he felt would work quite nicely. Thus so, he'd left his female traveling companion and had set off, flying over the land till he stopped the by now familiar pridal dens. He'd been spying on the pride for long enough that he knew which dens he should target, and which souls he was looking for, to help him drive his plan into action.
Landing as silently as possible, the god left both pairs of wings he possesed plainly in sight before sticking his head into Takatifu's den; he had little doubt the pure would still be asleep, but he wasn't too sure about the Vates - he needed silence... he needed things to go his way. No errors, no mistakes; everything had to go as it was meant to go.
He was sure his presence would attract the cubs without him having to open his mouth; Karma was calling them. Likewise, he had little doubt that the cubs within the nearby den were also stirring, his presence also calling to them.
"Come," he voiced silently, and waited. He'd shrouded his body within an illusion, hiding him from everyone's sight but those he wished to be seen by, just in case something went wrong, "Come!"

(nb: she is a juve at this time) It is Sitirika who responds first, rising swiftly and padding towards the entrance without hesitation. As the strongest of her siblings, she takes her responsibility very seriously. She will be a Warrior some day. She is supposed to protect them... even poor Bovu.
Her pace falters when she sees the greater spirit, for what else could he be? With wings like this, his bulk filling the entrance, and the otherworldly presence that shrouds him - she falters, and looks to her brother Ema for confirmation. He always seems to know about these things. He'd know why a greater spirit would be here, right? Why the spirit seems to want them to follow?
But the pull of Karma is strong, and even with her uncertainty she moves forward. And her siblings follow. Like rats following the piper, the entire litter of bastards trail behind the immense god.

While it was Sitirika whom had ventured towards the entrance first, it had been Ema whom had woken up first. His head had lifted up in the darkness of the cave, and his cold, golden eyes had remain focused on the mouth of the cave. He made no sound, for he knew that his siblings would wake up soon enough; he never questioned how or why he knew things, he just accepted it. After all, their mother had an uncanny ability to know things too; it came naturally to him.
It was only when his sister padded forward though, that he silently followed her, looking behind to make sure their siblings were following. The greater spirit took him by surprise though, and his usually unemotional eyes widened slightly at the sight, his body pressing against his sister's; he, unlike her, would never be a warrior, "We need to go with him," his voice was neutral, but it was clear he did not know why. As soon as his sister moved forward again, the blue marked cub followed, and behind them, the whole litter of young lions.
---
Samsara watched as the cubs trailed out of the cave, one by one, apparently lead by the darkest female and the blue marked male. It was only when he was sure all of them were out that he made a small hushing noise,, lifting a finger up to his maw, as if to alert them to remain silent, and then moved, padding off towards a cleverly-hidden den.
Once at the mouth of the den, he again leaned forth and whispered the same word, "Come," he called into the den, "Come - let's set things right."

Sitirika nods once to her brother, and then follows the god in silence. It's not her place to question, and something about this situation... something about it seems to demand silence (you know, aside from the god who clearly asked for silence). So she steps as softly as she can, a dark ghost alongside her brighter siblings.
---
Hidden away from the rest of the pride as she has been for all her life, little Jini has very little concept of what a greater spirit really is. Well, aside from her mother, that is. But the idea that there are others out there always seemed like such a foreign concept.
When Karma calls to her and her many siblings, however, she doesn't even think to look for her mother. It doesn't matter. This is where she's supposed to be, she can See it. And her siblings have to come too - so she pokes and prods and urges them along, and soon enough the entire litter is arranged before their older half-siblings.
A strange moment of recognition flashes behind her eyes when she sees them, her attention captured strongly enough that she ignores the god. Interesting.

The moment Ema saw the other cubs, he knew. He had no idea why, or how, nor did he need to, really. His eyes sought out Jini's briefly, as if silently communicating with her, and then lifted up to seek out the greater spirit's green ones. He had little to no idea what the large blue lion had planned; only that whatever it was... it must be done.
---
As the litter of cubs came out, Samsara mentally counted them, making sure all of them were present, and then, once more, made that hushing sound before padding off. He kept his attention divided between his surroundings and the young mortals that followed along.
It wasn't till they were safely away from hearing distance that the God finally spoke, "A short while ago, a royal cub went missing. While she was not your littermate... she's still importantly connected to you all," he was aware that some of the cubs possessed the gift of 'sight', but he wasn't too sure how much any of them knew, and kept his words brief and enigmatic - they could chose to believe whatever they wished, be it that they were related, or that they were connected simply for being members of the same pride, "Her captor was never apprehended," he continued, "And this is where we come in; we're going to bring her captor back to the pride. We're going to make your parents proud. We're going to make your whole pride proud of you."
He'd show Sakata just what he was missing out on. Karma was hell bent on showing the warleader what it was his 'b*****d' cubs could accomplish, "Now, be careful and heed my words - do whatever I tell you to. We're almost to the villain's cave."
The lioness wasn't really a villain, but he thought it fitting that she would get captured for daring to take an innocent child. Eye for an eye.

The cubs move as a group, together and yet apart. As if abiding by some unspoken agreement, the two litters do not mingle. Nor do they attempt to avoid each other - they simply walk along behind the greater spirit, casting curious glances at each other from time to time, and remaining silent (but for the occasional hiss or muttering when young paws stumble in the dark).
---
Sitirika is confused by this turn of events, as she is not blessed with the certainty that her brother seems to always possess. But she can observe, and her young mind is still keen. They share markings. They could be related - closely related, even. Some of the other litter show signs of the same bulk she possesses, even if they are younger. And there's that strange sense of kinship, as if the way they move an carry themselves is almost as familiar to her as the movements of her siblings.
She bites her lip and looks over at Ema, gauging his reaction, and resolves to ask him what he knows after this is all over.
---
Jini, on the other hand, is not confused at all. but then mother always went out of her way to tell her children about their father, their pride, their (many) half-siblings. So this is the other group that daddy won't acknowledge, that he's hiding from the Queen. A snide little smirk graces her muzzle when she notices that one of those cubs bears the mark of a coward - hmph! She and her siblings are clearly better, there isn't even one hint of green among them. And there are more of them, even if they are younger.
---
As the group nears their destination they slow down, staring up at the greater spirit in silence. Some nod in assent, understanding clear in their eyes. Others nod, but more slowly - clearly confused. But they all perk up at the idea of being heroes, of capturing the Bad Guy and saving the day and the whole pride knowing about it. So they do exactly as the greater spirit asks, even as their tails begin to twitch with excitement.

Ema saw the way his sister looked at him, and he allowed his gaze to lock with hers, though just briefly. A small curt nod was offered at her, as if to explain that yes, he had a vague idea of what was going on, and yes, he'd explain everything later. Things would turn out just fine; he had the impression that whatever was wrong would now be fixed.
But then again, maybe that wasn't his gift talking, but rather, his childish naivety and his need to set things straight.
---
As they reached the safe 'haven' that he knew the adult lioness was using, the god stood in front of both litters of children, spreading his wings as if to shield them from both harm and sight, "Come out!" he boomed, "I, Samsara, keeper of the balance of Karma demand it!" and now, the stage was set. All they needed to do was... play their roles.

 Safe haven, her a**.
This was the first thought that ran through Kizuka'ruya's mind as Samsara's demand rang through the air. That greater spirit had shown her this place...and now another was here, calling for balance. Did that mean...no, she had to hope that Malaika hadn't told of her part. Greater spirits had other ways of knowing, that was all. That had to be all...even if the demand for balance gave her a sinking feeling about all of this.
Kizuka stepped out of the den. "I am here, great spirit, as you called." Neutral, steady...no panic, not yet. This could yet be another sympathetic to the Dhati...couldn't it?

Samsara had nothing to do with the war that both side seemed to be waging upon the land. No, this was more to do with individual actions and their just punishment; or at least, what he felt was the ironic, just punishment. Karma seemed just as ready to tamper with this lioness' fate as he was willing to tamper with Sakata's own. There were few things that really upset him, and unfortunately for Kizuka, the large god had a soft spot for children.
Tukutu had told him nothing, granted, but he'd heard whispers in the wind; he'd been looking over the land for quite some time now and while this plan would not restore the balance completely, it was a start.
He watched with impassive eyes as the lioness padded out of hiding and frowned at her, "There are few things unjustified in a war," he told her, "Involving children, kidnapping them from their mothers and home, no matter how great the enemy is unappropriated, undignified and has no excuse!" his wings dropped a bit then, revealing the children that had been hiding behind them, "Just like you took that cub, these cubs are here to demand your surrender. They are here to take you back to the Mizimu with them, and I will personally see to it," he bared his teeth, his ears pinning back, distorting his somewhat handsome features horribly, for he could be just as cruel as he could be gentle and sweet, "An eye for an eye!"

...s**t.
Kizuka was not a brave lioness. However, she was not a stupid one either. While her muscles involutnarily tensed to bolt, she slammed onto her proverbial brakes with all the force she could muster. This battle was already lost, and she wouldn't compound her punishment (oh dear spirits, Jini and Sakata would be furious) by ensuring a coward's mark in her next life. With a great spirit's eyes on her...there would be no getting out of that if she ran.
Her eyes scanned the young cubs behind him, a faint flicker of recognition flaring in her expression, but no full realization yet. As a former member of the Heart, she was not so familiar with Sakata's form. The glare she then shot Samsara said clearly that had he not been there, she would been gone--running far faster and longer than these young paws could manage. She quailed at his snarl, however, and her only spoken answer was a soft, sullen, "As you wish."
She would not give them the satisfaction of a struggle.

His eyes narrowed as she watched him, in all honesty expecting her to bolt (granted, this would have been rather futile seeing as how he could fly AND teleport through short distance). However, he was proved wrong and Samsara was pleasantly surprised to see the lioness had accepted her fate. It was clear that had he not been there, the lioness would have run, but she was out of luck.
How ironic.
He rather liked irony, actually. One day, he should ponder paying her, or him, a visit, for he was sure they'd get along just fine.
"Good," he voiced, and then moved a bit, using his wings to place the children once more behind him while inviting the adult to pad before them. He'd soon enough cloak himself inside the same coat of invisibility he'd used within the den grounds, making him invisible to all but those he wished should see him. That would give the effect that the kids had captured the lioness and brought her to justice. He felt that should be a nice wakening call for Sakata himself, seeing as how he was pretty much ignoring the existence of both litters. One more than the other, "Walk ahead of us then," a pause followed and a growl rumbled through him, "You are advised both to not shame yourself by trying to escape, AND not telling anyone about my participation within this plan. If you EVER tell anyone about my presence here today, or my intervention, I will know, and I will find you," the growl rumbled louder for a moment, a clear threat, "I will subject you to a punishment much worse than this one, or death itself, are we clear?"

Sitirika offers a brave little hiss to the Bad Lioness when Karma lifts his wings, baring her sharp fangs in a snarl. She doesn't fully understand what's going on here, but her brother says that it's okay and something about the greater spirit makes it clear that everything will turn out just fine.
Perhaps any child not of the Mizi would be disturbed by the threats he voices to Kizuka, but to Sitirika they are barely worth considering. Of course there are punishments worse than this, worse than death. She could be dishonoured, branded a coward, doomed to be reborn with the same stained pelt that Bovu bears.
As they move out, she makes sure that she is closest to the traitor. And, most importantly, that she is between her siblings and the lioness. After a moment's consideration she changes her position so that she can also move to shield the younger litter... because she's supposed to protect them too, she knows it. It's just the right thing to do.
---
When the older girl hisses, Jini rolls her eyes. Sheesh. She remains silent, that snide smirk still proudly displayed, and moves into position alongside her siblings. This is going to be fun. Mother would be so proud.

Lip curling, Kizuka focused on the hissing juvenile for a moment. Brat... It was only a moment, however, and after the pause she moved silently ahead of the greater spirit. Her skin crawled at the knowledge that her back was exposed to such a powerful spirit, one that's clearly unhappy with what she's done--only the knowledge that he seemed to have some other plan for her kept the lioness from glancing warily over her shoulder. As he spoke, the reality of her situation sank in. Any chance she might have had to run is gone now as though it had never existed, and there was no doubt in her mind that he would follow through on his threats. There was no escape, either from her capture...or the sting of knowing they believed her captured by brats.
With a deep breath, she trudged forward.

Samsara said no more as he padded along behind the adult lioness. He soon enough cloaking himself with invisibility as soon as he deemed them near enough to the pridal borders that it might be spotted by unwanted eyes.
Everything seemed to be going right along according to plan. But then again... most of what he planned (when related to his 'job' anyhow) usually had a knack of going the right way. He always wondered if maybe he had a little bit of help from Fate, or if it was just a whole load of luck on his part.
His eyes strayed every so often from the lioness to glance at the youth that padded proudly around him, looking as much like heroes as they should have been upon birth.
Now, all that was left... was to find Sakata.
