I just started investing money in Silver... just ordered an ounce today smile Seeing as the dollar will be dropping out, and an ounce of silver is still relatively cheap ($25 an ounce on average) I think i might start picking up some more every 2 or 3 weeks, when i can spare it.

Honestly, why the hell do you keep linking to YouTube? Posting YouTube links with NO EXPLANATION, NO SUMMARY, and NO ORIGINAL CONTENT does your argument NO GOOD.
I do not have the time nor desire to wade through hours of YouTube videos.

TrutherMei So.. You like to be spoon fed? Yes. You see, I do not start out interested in what you're talking about. The whole purpose of a summary is to give me a reason to look into things further. That's why you put a summary on the back of a book. You just post some videos and say, "watch these for no apparent reason." I skimmed your source, and did a bit of research. The Federal Reserve is *supposed* to be a part of the USA Government, but it isn't treated as such, despite the law saying it is part of the Government. It sounds like it needs to be reformed more than destroyed... also, your link says that we need to return to Gold and Silver for our monetary system. I do hope you realize the problems inherent in this idea? I'm sorry, but whenever I see a wall of links but little to no content in a post, it is a huge turn-off.

Aight, point taken, I should post my own summaries of what I've found out on each topic. Yea, I always thought the same about returning to gold and silver currency (there's not enough!! lol). I don't think that's the best solution. But I don't have my own.

TrutherMei Aight, point taken, I should post my own summaries of what I've found out on each topic. Miraculous! No sarcasm. Quote: Yea, I always thought the same about returning to gold and silver currency (there's not enough!! lol). I don't think that's the best solution. But I don't have my own. The problem with setting our currency on any material is that it makes both extremely vulnerable. The price of the material will almost definitely dramatically increase, making any practical uses for the material very expensive, and if the material suddenly loses value, guess what happens to the value of the dollar or euro or whatever? Gold and silver actually have some very-necessary uses in electronics. Now, they don't use enough gold to make stripping it out of your old computer to sell worth it, but still, the point is gold and silver aren't just pretty metals with no out-of-jewelry uses.

I've been reading/watching a lot of informative articles/vids about the federal reserve lately... I think it's important to learn about this (something I never knew anythinnnng about before)
This one's pretty simple and covers a lot. it's 40 minutes. covers the beginning of it up until recently...

Something of interest to you http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-515319560256183936#Recommended readings Robert Kiyosaki: Conspiracy of the Rich (very basic generalized introduction) G. Edward Griffin: The Creature From Jekyll Island (a -detailed- look at the history of the Federal Reserve. 600 pages) I've watched the documentary, and read the first book, I ordered the second for my dad to read but I know plenty about banking history and the fed for the time being. I suggest you at least watch the documentary for a nice introduction.
