Normally not one to wander into the city, Gouldian found himself walking the pathways to the outer city. Mostly out of boredom, but still out of his element. Even with the sun starting to set, he still stayed in the shadows, trying to hide his brightly colored coat. He had been in the city before and knew the dangers. The two leggers, especially the one that chases dogs. Not that he was afraid, as he walked his head and nub was still held high, knowing he could take care of himself

Ecstasy's head was held high as she high-tailed...er...high-nubbed it out of the lot behind the chinese buffet, mouth holding a bag full of as much food as she could manage to stuff in there. She wasn't afraid of getting caught by the humans -they'd already caught her and spritzed her with the hose-, she was afraid of running into another dog that would try to take her catch. Again, It's not the was afraid she'd lose her dinner, it was that she was already hungry, and wasting her energy on fighting would really not help at all. Thankfully, as she looked over her shoulder, she felt rather safe. She would normally high-tail it to her hideout, but she felt like- Stopping and sniffing the air, she let out a rippling warning growl to the one who the scent belonged to. She wanted to eat, dammit!

Hearing the growl, his ears twitched, head craning towards the growl he sniffed the air. The smell of food and a strange dog waft towards him, urging him to follow it. He wasnt hungry, having eaten earlier, but he hadnt smelled anything like that food before.

The scent got stronger, and the most she could think to do was...back away. Try and find someplace to go and eat in peace. "s**t, s**t, s**t!" She growled to herself, looking around for some kind of shelter. However, finding none, she simply placed the bag on the ground and stood directly over it, hackles raised and teeth bared as much as they could be. The rest was purely vocal; Snarls and growls.

He trotted towards the smell, following his nose you could say. As he rounded the corner and met the site on the other end though, he stopped. Automatically getting into a defensive stance, not wanting to be caught off guard, he looked at her, still sniffing the air slightly. Gouldians eyes fell on the bag where the smell must have been coming from, before looking back up to the dog standing over it.

As the male approached, she lowered her body just a bit closer to the ground, protecting her meal the best she could. Usually though, a hungry dog like her would've already attacked for the bag. Seeing as she was still defending and not attacking... "...What do you want?" She snapped, pinning her ears back.

Aside from his defensive stance, he showed now outer signs of aggressions. He was silent for a moment, looking at her, his nose still twitching before he answered her. "....What is that..smell?"

"....Za?" She cocked a brow. What was he talking about? What smell? What could-...Oh. "It's Chinese food...What, never smelled it before?" She chuckled lightly, not really believing that someone could never have smelled the wonder that was Chinese food.

"....Chinese food..?" He looked down towards the bag again. "...No, I normally dont come into the town.. I live out in the forest and hunt my own food."

One part of her wanted to give him a taste of the wonderful food. The other part of her wanted all she could eat. Then again, it was usually lonely, eating alone. Making up her mind, she picked up the bag and motioned to a small cluster of saplings before trotting that way, head held high again.

He tilted his head a bit, but soon followed her over to the clump of trees. He still kept a slight distance, but relaxed his stance. He wasnt used to street dogs, having lived out in the forest, but she seemed..civil for the most part so far.
