[Group rp for Chobi_Chocobo/ Seaki / One over three in that order. Do not post if you aren't one of the three users listed]  Chumani had done the impossible and convinced his mother that he was needed to escort the lovely Maziwa out of the pack lands. He was still amazed and loving every minute of their travel so far. It showed in his wagging tail as he walked.
Chumani was still a good little guard though, keeping an eye out for anything that might be threatening. The pup sniffed at the air.
"Seems all clear here Maziwa!" He informed her... loudly. His tail wagged playfully behind him. This was just to much fun.

 Maziwa sighed, eyes trained on the white pup and ears trained to the sounds about them. She was tense, having never had to really care for anyone so fully. The Roguelands were dangerous, as she had many misadventures in her youth.
Her body shook whenever a loud sound rank out, and she nearly jumped with the loud call of Chumani. "Shhh, Chu. We don't want to attract attention, now do we?" Her body was still shaking, but this was supposed to be a learning experience, a visit, and a good time. But Ziwa, no... She was the one getting the lesson, and she was a bundle of nerves.
She shuffled forward and came close to the small white pup, ears swiveling a bit, picking up the sound of meerkats diving back into their hole.
Ziwa gave a shuttering breath and flicked her gaze to the sky. "Njozi, help me," she murmered and let her gaze train itself on the white pup.

 Strom stalked along with his head low and his feet dragging. He was grumbling quite loudly to himself about the state of affairs. Certainly half the things that came from his mouth were made up, but he knew it and there was no one around to call his bluff. If he'd noticed the pair of wild dogs nearby he likely would have fallen silent as to watch them a moment before they caught sight of him. As it was though he was too busy making up things to complain about to the grass.
"And did you SEE that beast," he huffed. "Well if it wasn't for him I'd fancy I would have had that antelope AND her wee kid. But noooo~ He held his ground he did. I know you didn't see him but geeez. If you had you would have run. I didn't run but you would have."

Chumani hushed when he was warned to be quiet. That didn't down his happy little spirit though, no, the puppies tail kept wagging. This was new. This was exciting. This was an adventure. As far as Chu was concerned, this was like Disney World.
The fact that there could be others near by listening in on the two really didn't seem to matter. Because five minutes later he was talking, loudly, again.
"Man, your right Maziwa.. " He quickly covered his mouth with a paw and whispered, "ooopssss.." His tail still wagged.
Obvious this was one sheltered puppy having grown up in such a loving pack.
However, the pups tail dropped when he caught a sound. Was some one up ahead? Chu's ears folded behind his head a little.
"Trouble.." He whispered as he sniffed at the ground. A true guardian in the making.

The quiet female winced with teh loud sound of Chumani's voice. She was trying to listen for danger! Multitasking was definately not her thing. She sighed and moved forward, but her ears were perched at high alert, despite the pup's call.
She forced away the nervous shake, and allowed her body to only become tense. The shaking wouldn't work - she felt like a young pup learning to hunt for the first time, and she gave a small snarl under her breath.
Red eyes stayed focused on the pup and she saw his demeanor change - her posture changed to one of higher alert, instead of the more passive. She moved closer to the pup and remained quite.
Red eyes scanned the terrain, ears swiveling side to side with any sound, any sound. Suddenly, eyes fell on a skulking figure in the grass, and a frown crossed Ziwa's face, and she gave a warning yip.

Strom was quite content to continue chattering on at no one. It wasn't until he heard the yip of a strange female that he stopped and raised his head.
"Hello there?" he called. If it had been a cat he would have been hesitant but he was fairly certain the yelp had come from one of his own kind.
He stepped forward through the grass, "Fear not, I'm only a wanderer."

Chumani took a naive step forward believing what this stranger said.
"Hello Only a wander, I'm Chu and this is the beautiful Maziwa. We're on a journey." He looked up and wagged his tail at the stranger. " I've never seen anyone who wasn't pack before," He hopped from one side to the other in a playful gesture.
"Oh Maziwa! He seems so nice!!" The pup yipped happily back at the female.

Ziwa glanced down at the young pup. "Looks can be deceiving, Chu," she said with a low voice, as to not let the stranger hear. Maybe she was just on edge for having her friend's child in her care.
"Hello," Ziwa told the grey male amiably, shifting on her paws a bit. "As Chu said, I'm called Maziwa," she glanced back at Chumani. "Who are you, if I may be so bold?" she said, guarded.
At the first sign of danger, she would take Chu and run, but she let her body visibly relax, still a bundle of nerves.
