I have so many stories about my stand partner that I think we should have this forum dedicated to all the good, bad, fun or downright idiotic things your stand partner has ever done. Enjoy.

My stand partner, Poppy, drives me nuts. Today he accidentally SCRATCHED my BRAND NEW VIOLA and I lost it. The scratch was a good two inches long and I was ready to kill him. So I was screaming at him, "DON'T YOU DARE TO EVER DENT MY VIOLA AGAIN OR YOU WILL PAY, ALEX [insert last name here]!" That was right when my director walked in. She said, "Well done, Elizabeth."
The funny part came afterwards. He was saying, "Uh, you could probably get it repaired," and I said, "You can't repair scratches." So he paused for a moment then said, "Well, you could always buy a new body for it. I mean, isn't that black thingy the expensive part?"

I've been fortunate enough to really get along with all of the stand partners I've had. Well, when we were in middle school Elizabeth and I would always argue about who's better, but by the end of high school, we were both like, hey, you wanna be section leader? Hey, I don't wanna do this solo, you can have this one XD

I have had 2 awesome stand partners and one okay (doesn't want to be there and is quiet) this year. If you can count the 2nd chair cellist (who I almost killed for stepping but not damaging my viola) he is nice but we end up hitting each other sometimes. I had an evil viola player that quit that hit me with her bow on purpose ( she admitted it and laughed) I sat by/infront her only for some concerts in 8th grade and I got mad and the conducted asked during reheasal "(name) is there a problem" and I had to let it go.

Are you ready to die?
in middle school i didnt have to share a stand it was nice. but now that im in highschool..
last year, i loved my stand partner. we hang out out side of school allthe time now. but she graduated and i miss her.
this year... the kid makes me wanna die. hes got that " im so much better than you i cant believe youd actually want to play next to me i could carry the entire section (theres only two of us :3) by myself." attitude and when he plays he looks like a swing with how much he moves. im going to stab him in the eyeball and see how he likes me then. the other day he literally said " im going to assume that you dont want the solo.. cause youdmake it sound crappy"
and he rushes and then blames it on me. whenever he messes up its like " LINDSEY WTF" and when i try to explain what he did wrong to him in the nicest way. hes like. okay yeah your wrong whatever.
/rant Cause lately it seems im goingINSANE
