Story: The tribe he loved was gone. It was hard for Kiroko to accept it but deep down he knew it was true. His elder had suddenly disappeared and the rest of the tribe members had disbanded. The city he once called home was no longer alive with foxes. The green male had stayed behind for a long time hoping, wishing, his tribe would reunite, but they didn't and in the end he couldn't take the loneliness. After a year of living alone in a sad city, Kiroko decided to find a new town to call home. A town far away so that he wouldn't be reminded of the sadness his old town brought him. He traveled for many months on end, not knowing where he was going. Many of the towns he traveled to seemed decent, but there was just something off about them. After awhile he felt as if he would never find another city big enough to please him and thought about settling down somewhere quieter, but something kept tugging at him, pulling him onward.... Until one day he found it. The Phoenix Metropolis. It was the biggest city he had ever been lucky enough to encounter. The joy he felt upon entering the enormous city was unlike any other. Buildings towered overhead, humans shuffled about with their daily lives. Music flowed out of shops and smells of food and city air flowed through the streets. This is where he belonged. This was his home. After a days search, Kiroko found the perfect abandoned warehouse to claim as his. It would have been the perfect spot for his old tribe. Old tribe... That's right, old tribe. Those were the old days, those times were gone. Now was the time to start over, possibly even find a new tribe. Or maybe.. Start a new tribe. As Kiroko curled up on the floor of the warehouse, he vowed to take in any stray foxes out there that shared his passion for the metropolis. Yes, he would watch over any others, help them, care for them, and guide them. The tribe worships Isira, female Modeity of Creativity and Inspiration. I will work that into the story somehow one of these days. -Welcome posts/table of contents -Intro/Story -Accepted personalities -Rules -Tattoo/Mods -Ranks/Members -How to Become A Member -Tribe Relations -Reserved

Accepted personalities: Just like the city they live, the Phoenix Tribe is made up of and accepts any personality. From wickedly evil to sugary sweet and hyper, there is a place for you in the Metropolis. There is something for everyone in the city. Art, music, plays, a park, junk yards, creepy back allies, abandoned houses, and all kinds of stuff to get into. -Welcome posts/table of contents -Intro/Story -Accepted personalities -Rules -Tattoo/Mods -Ranks/Members -How to Become A Member -Tribe Relations -Reserved

VOTEThe Phoenix tribe needs an official tribe tattoo design! It's between these three: 123Or if you find one you think is better than these three, post it! (It doesn't have to be a Phoenix, it can be anything you think is fitting)) As for other modifications, members are allowed to be as little or heavily moded as they wish to be. Anything goes here in the big city. -Welcome posts/table of contents -Intro/Story -Accepted personalities -Rules -Tattoo/Mods -Ranks/Members -How to Become A Member -Tribe Relations -Reserved

Rank discription: Elder: Oversees the tribe, organizes meetings, keeps everyone safe and out of trouble. Shamans: The shamans in the city don't have the resources other shamans have. They care for the sick, heal the injured, but they do it with meds they find in the city and know work from using on mice and other small creatures. They must have knowledge of what is safe and what is not. Hunters: There isn't really game in the city but that doesn't mean that hunters are not needed. Metropolis hunters are more of con artists than anything. They 'hunt' down food, figure out the best way to snatch it, and bring it back to the tribe. They often bring gatherers along as distractions. Scouts: These foxes are in charge of locating food, other foxes, and useful items. They let the hunters and gatherers know when something interesting pops up. They are always the first to know when a new fox has entered the inner part of the city and are usually the first ones to greet them to see if they should be brought back to the Warehouse. Gatherers: The go-getters of the tribe. They bring home meds, gadgets, things that look cool, and help hunters with obtaining food. They are often offered up as distractions or decoys so over the years they have become very good actors. Careers: The careers have extensive knowledge of the city and it is their job to pass that knowledge to the younger members. They care for all members, not just the kits. Their main job is however to baby sit the tribe kits and show them the ropes. Members: Foxes without ranks assigned to them, but do their best to help those in higher positions. Members have more free time to explore and overall enjoy the city and everything it has to offer. Members: Elder: KirokoShamans: Hunters: Scouts: RomulusGatherers: Careers: Members: -Welcome posts/table of contents -Intro/Story -Accepted personalities -Rules -Tattoo/Mods -Ranks/Members -How to Become A Member -Tribe Relations -Reserved

((And Open!)) After such a good nights sleep, it was time to fully go exploring. Surely in a city this big there had to be other foxes? With a long stretch and a yawn, Kiroko left the warehouse in hopes of finding others. Hopefully he'd find some foxes not on their way to the animal shelter. Ah, but first, breakfast!
Green paws padded down the sidewalks of the Metropolis, in search for the easiest bite of good to grad. It was midday so plenty of humans were out getting food at the time. As Kiroko came across a few tiny humans sitting on the steps to an apartment building, unsupervised, eating pizza, he knew today would be a good day. Lowering his ears, and acting as if he was afraid of the humans, Kiroko took a few small steps towards them. The humans of course were well aware of his presence and began patting the ground around them as if he were a cat.
"Silly humans. I'm not a cat. Offer the food and I'll come." He knew they couldn't understand him, but making sounds often encouraged humans to offer things. For some odd reason, they seemed to like it. And just as he predicted, one of the smaller ones offered a piece of pizza to him. Smiling to himself, Kiroko took the food and let the child pet him as he ate. He didn't mind the petting so much. As long as they didn't pinch or pull his tail.
After two slices of pizza and much more petting than he expected, Kiroko left the children to continue on his quest of finding other foxes.

((Linked their certs to their modifications.)) Eirian inhaled deeply, the now-familar smell of the city washing over her like a wave. She couldn't believe how, in just a few short days, she and her mother had become. It was a rather new and awkward realtionship, but it was a start. Definiately better than not even believing the other existed.
She sighed sadly, her butterfly friends flitting around her nervously. They didn't like the city, and were constantly trying to lead her back into the forest, or at least into the suburbs. The cats and human children were a constant bother to them. Eirian began walking down a narrow alley-way, careful not to drag her lovely arm-warmers too much.
She looked around as she walked, hearing her mother walking close beside her as well as the human-made traffic. They had eaten together, a rat and some scraps thrown at them from the diner a few buildings back. The silly humans thought they were stray cats! That is, until they saw Eirian and Shroka's strange coloring and modifications. Then they either thought they were circus cats and fed them, or stratched their heads and looked bewildered.
Shroka listened to the wind, her ears now attuned to the sounds of the city around them. Her firefly companions winked in and out around her, even in the coming daylight. She flicked her tail, her tail bracelet chinking in the morning air. She did not care for the city just yet, but she was warming up to it a lot faster than she had anticipated.
The humans were a lot kinder than she had given them credit, even though some still were mean and to be avoided whenever possible. The original idea of them coming to various cities was to find a well-known tribe of artists, but when they found the tribe's 'head quaters', they had found it was deserted. Had been for some time.
But, Shroka's daughter and conpanion was no so easily diswayed. So, they pressed on, continuing city after city until they heard some rumors of artists coming to a certain city. The one they were in was such a city.
Suddenly, Shroka smelled something. It was.... a fox?! "Eirian. Do you smell him as well?", she asked, her clear voice ringing out in the air, making the firelflies blink with even more excitement.
"Yes, I think I do! Shall we approach?", Eirian said, nodding her head to where the scent was coming from. Her mother nodded, and that was all Eirian needed. They both pressed onward, toward to city-fox, and hopefully, to the where-a-bouts of the lost tribe of artisans.

Romulus tore away from the Frying Pan Lady's alley, scattering trash cans in his wake. She'd caught him again, which was annoying; the woman hated having animals in her scraps outside and used a frying pan to chase them away, but she had the best food.
Shaking debris out of his fur, Romules set back out on the sidealk, the earring from his old tribe making small noises at the movement. Keyword being old; the Syndicate has disbanded months ago, and after his mate elft as well, Romulus wasted no time in moving on.
He'd been roaming for some time, with no real intention of lingering in this Metropolis long. He hadn't been happy since his home was no longer home, and he doubted this place would improve his mood much.
Hungry and tired of dwelling, Romulus smelled the air for any potential meals, but caught an even more familiar scent than just pizza or pretzels in the air. Kiroko?
The fox followed the trail for awhile, surprised when indeed the green fox with blood markings apepared a few feet in front of him. "Kiroko!" he called out impulsively over the din of human feet and conversation. He had no idea if the younger fox wanted to see him; it was just...nice...to see a familiar face out here. ((This was so much better the first time. XD))

Kiroko hadn't gotten very far when he picked up the scent of two foxes ahead of him. Two? This finding foxes things might be easier than he thought! The green male was about to follow the two scents to their owners when something else caught his attention; A voice from his past. Kiroko stopped in his track and turned around, wondering if it was simply his imagination playing tricks on him. But no, there in front of him stood a member of his old tribe. The fox that had showed him how to sneak into plays. The fox that had developed his love for theatre.
"Romulus!" the younger male called out as he dashed over. "Romulus! How have you been? How long have you been here?" Kiroko was bursting at the seams with questions. And although he wanted to sit and have a chat, there were other foxes nearby that he wanted to speak with and the busy streets were no place to sit and mingle. "Hey, there are some other foxes up the street I want to talk with. Do you have time to follow me back to the warehouse where I stay?" Hoping Romulus would agree, rather than waiting for him to, for Kiroko knew Romulus could fend for himself, the green male made his way back up the street until he spotted the two vixens he had smelt earlier.
"Greetings, Ladies." he said with a nod of his head.
