Asi was seated near one of the largest pools of water, something he was amazed to find in these lands. Three waterholes so nearby, all of decent size. He'd had a conversation with the Mjumbe, and was mulling over a lot of the terms and customs she'd told him about. His tail flicked slowly.
His thought kept slipping to the other day, when he'd seen Danzi and that strange female, Ti. He sighed slightly, gaze flicking to the sky. And still, he had to meet Ari's new friend. That would require him being on his best behavior, wouldn't it?

Having left Tafari with Ari for a bit, Tisha found herself traveling across the vast lands and taking it all in with a light smile. She found it hard to believe she was the rotten cub that she was all thoes years ago, and now she was in the heart of pridelands, and she just couldn't be more smitten. Seeing a strange pool of water ahead, or more like smelling it, her stomach rumbled and her thirst became apparent, so she started the swift trot towards the cool liquid.
"...oh!" She said suddenly, pushing through the grasses only to catch sight of another lion, one much larger and apparently already into his prime, "...I didn't know there was another here." She lowed her eyes from his form before tracing a path towards the water, noting its difference from the southlands as well. Paws shifting weight from one side to the other, she quickly moved farther away as she found a spot, and bent down to lap the liquid swiftly, almost cholking on it.

Asi blinked, tensing as his ears picked up on the rustling of grassses. As Tisha came into site and muttered some form of excuse Asi looked around slowly. She did not act as if these were foreign lands. "Aye uhm, aye.." He was going to say something, but not being able to think of what he'd promptly shut his maw again.
His tail flicked a little, and he watched her as she hurridly gulped up the water. Perhaps he made her nervous? "I be Asi." He offered, still a bit confused. At least he wasn't being grouchy, right?

Her body stiffened as she swallowed the last large gulp, it trailing down her throat like a rock as she let it finish before lifting her head and turning towards him. Asi? Where had she heard that name before. Letting the silence filter through, she just thought it over before it clicked, and her bi-colored eyes widened.
"You're Ari's Mate!" She spoke out suddenly, voice lightening as she just looked him over before nodding, she could see some of him in his son.
"I am Tisha..." She added on as an afterthought, blinking lightly and keeping the same smile on her face.

He blinked, and rose as she made the connection to Ari, this must have been her new friend. Or the new pride member, whatever. He dipped his head. "Oh, yew be that 'un Ari be talking aboot, yew an'.. yer son?" He looked around, expecting to see the child. "Er.. it be nice teh meet yeh?" He left it questioning, because he normally didn't say things like that.

Shifting once more, she took a second to comprehend what he was saying, before she followed his gaze around her form, "Son...you mean Tafari?" She felt her eyes go back to him as she nodded, "Ari is with him back in the dens..." Letting the comment trail, she sounded a bit uncertin with it before smiling once more, "It is nice to meet you too." With a final nod, she just moved away from the waters and closer to him, "Ari said I wouldn't see you until tomorrow actually...so I guess it was more than a surprise to run into you, but I am greatful, I already met your son...but it is good to meet others who have come to these pridelands."

Tafari, huh? A strange name but names were always strange. Come to think of it, they were more interesting than strange. "Aye." He said at her question, then listened to how she'd left him with Ari.
His son? That couldn't be good. "D'yeh mean Denahi, or Tamu?" His head tilted. Both were a bit strange, but it would have been better for her if it was Tamu. "Aye, it do be a shock. I did no expect our mee'in till tomarra either."

Nodding she just watched him as he thought, wondering what he was thinking and just intrested in his character over all. He seemed like a pretty nice guy, and though he was a bit gruff, he was intresting to be around.
"Oh....Denahi I believe...very erm...facinating, he did seem to be intrested in us. Though he acted as if he didnt care...he waited for us when we traveled through the woods..." She just remembered the interaction with a shake of her head, "But yes, Ari told me I could search for some water before I needed to rest...it has been a long day from the southlands to here."

Asi stretched a little, slowly sitting. He nodded to her, hoping she'd sit as well. "Aye.. er.. Denahi.. I 'ope 'e did no cause yew all problems." He sighed. What was to be done about Denahi? "Aye, sounds jus' like 'im, too." He smiled cautiously. "Aye, the journy do be long. I 'ope yew did no 'ave much trouble findin' these waterin'oles."

Tisha just stood there blinking at him with her wide eyes, mouth slightly pursed before she smiled to herself, "Oh no, he was alrigth, I am just worried about Tafari wanting to be just like him. Don't get me wrong, your son is a sweetheart..." She tried to smile, "But I just am unsure about Tafari taking on his...personality traits." Great, she thought to herself, eyes downcast, I am not starting to make fun of his son, what a great way to make friends.
Looking to the dirt, she tried to think up a way to make up for it, but no words really came to mind.
