Ok, as many of you may know of the role play I created, "Mission to the world of the living," and the race "Shinboo Shoonin." I have been thinking of this for some time now, mostly during the time I have been in the middle of creating their spells, losing names for them, or just forgetting the spell completely. I have been thinking, "What would it be like, if the Shinboo Shoonin became a permanent part of the Soul Reapers of the Seireitei family?"
I have seen how they have been played by my fellow captains, and other ranks. People that have joined the role play, and have played with, or against the Shinboo Shoonin might also agree that they have became apart of the guild itself. These characters, the race itself, is a completely original creation of mine. I made them, even with the limited space of creation within the realm of Bleach. Any role play creator would agree with me about this, it is difficult to create something completely original, without breaking the boundaries of the bleach universe.
The Shinboo Shoonin are also not just something unique for a role play, but they could very well be a race that makes Soul Reapers of the Seireitei completely unique to any other bleach guild on gaia.
I am not bringing this up just because I don't want my role play, which happens to be somewhat of a success, seeing as it has the most posts for a single thread, compared to any other. I will admit some of me wishes not to see it die just because of it's success rate, but the majority of me wishes to bring the Shinboo Shoonin as a race for the guild itself, and only this guilds use.
So what do the captains say about bringing the Shinboo Shoonin as a permanent part of the Soul Reapers of the Seireitei.
This will not be a sudden thing, instead it will take time. I must first create alot more spells for them, and the end of the role play must be reached before we can actually integrate them into the guild.

I vote yes as well. It would be interesting to have them integrated into the society. Although it does bring up the question of how those of us who are captains and have a shinboo character in the Rp will handle things. Would they have to choose between being a shinboo and a captain?

That much I am going to have to work the bugs out of. So don't think you will have to lose your seat as both just yet.
More than likely though you will have to give up one, to be the other, this is true. Unless you are able to keep up with holding onto both at once, lol.
I did not truly expect such a number of people to actually say yes to this, lol.
Another thing that might actually happen though is, the Shinboo Shoonin will not truly have a full race to themselves, but instead just be an organization of 12 to 24.
Meaning there will be the six leaders, the six vice captain ranks, and 2 lieutenant type ranks.
This way their people stay at a small rank, maybe only get a single subforum, and just plan small attacks on the seireitei... also I will admit I did type all of this, including the opening for this while I was very tired, so none of this is truly being completely thought out. So just be aware you might have to choose between being a captain or Shinboo. Though if the race is created, and we are unable to be both, I will make certain to keep the shinboo under my personal control, as Reddeye_dragon_wolf, not Reddeye captain of squad 11.
I will make sure that the race does go into a specific order of things, and will have certain feelings towards the Shinigami, and hollows. I will even personally approve of their abilities.
It just needs to be completely thought out, which I am to tired to completely think right now. So please, anyone, point out any major issues of all this, if you would like, or can.

Well it does seem like an interesting idea, no doubt. However, we seem to be having enough work on our hands with the rest of our race categories, such as Espadas, Vizards, Bountos, and heck, I wouldn't be surprised if we already have humans. And I congratulate most of those members who have managed at least all three and a possible fourth race (that being humans). But this form of expanding race is something we shouldn't rush on. I understand that it's mostly the captains that are playing secondary characters on these Shinboo Shoonin, but if you really want to make this a permanent race of this guild, that's an entirely different story. I'm not saying the idea is bad or anything, but it's something we can't afford to add into the guild just yet. We still need members to focus on filling in the other race categories. Then we can focus on additional races once we have enough people to do so. All in all, I suggest we hold off on this idea for now (A temporary "No" on my vote). But it's up to the rest of the council. *Bows*

For the same reasons as posted by zalian.
we need to focus on getting the whole guild active before we start adding new races.
Otherwise all the people will want to be other races and not soul reapers. thus leaving all the squads inactive and useless.
it is a brilliant idea, So like zalian said im not going to have a permanent NO, Its temporary at least untill we have a more aactive guild. Once we have many more members and they are more active then we can start the official contrruction of the new races.

Not to be a flip flopper against my own Idea, but I completely understand your views, and it would be best to hold off for now... but the Shinboo Shoonin are property of Reddeye_dragon_wolf... So I will agree with the temporary no... but if you guys plan on bringing them in, it has to be under my supervision, lol, who really wishes their own creation to be stolen, and made into something without their personal say so, lol.
So til then I say this is going to be held off, by points made by zalian, and my own personal understanding of such things, since I did write everything last night being a bit tired, and just dealing with alot of other crap...

And what about when they we do become more active and we just throw a new race in the mix if the second vote is yes? There will be Chaos the later this race is introduced if ever. We have a small userbase and I would think it would be best to put any new races in while we can still keep order as soon as possible so the small chaos if any can occur when it is easier to sort through the confusion. Of course It does belong to Redd and we must listen to him on the decision to be made.
