The war had begun. Dhati clashed with the Mizi, determined to prove themselves more valiant. The start of the war still didn't make any sense to Tayari but that didn't prevent him from fighting. He just loved to prove himself and to prove to others he was a great, if not the best, warrior.
Tayari let out a toothy grin. He and his comrades had just overpowered a set of fierce Mizi warriors. It was an intense fight, but nothing he and his group couldn't conquer.
Fresh adrenaline pumped with every step he took. His eyes on the land ahead of him, Tayari was looking for another foe; someone new to face. He was alert, looking for any signs of a possible ambush. But then again, it wouldn't matter. What was out there that Tayari and his companions couldn't handle? Perhaps only a God, but what were the chances of that?!
((From the Mule: Due to RL circumstances, one member of this plot has had to withdraw. Post order is now Royales > Syaoran-Puu > Marushii > Roxy_roxanna, and will remain in that cycle unless one individual takes over 48 hours to reply. At that point they may be skipped, and they will have to PM the mule to make arrangements for re-entry into the plot.))

 ((I wasn't told if I was meant to be second or third to post just that Royales would start the RP so I hope you guys don't mind me RPing now since I am on a semi-hiatus due to having a newborn baby -6weeks tomorrow- and have got some inspiration at this moment in time smile hehehe. Thanks))Kondo roared and ravished his way through the battle field, blood and cries filled the air and consumed his mind as the sheer need to survive caused him to slash throat after throat. It wasn't until after the battle that he had a chance to take in his own pain, the throbbing cuts from sharpened claws and jaggered teeth as his own blood mixed with that of his prey and dripped down his pelt. He wasn't exactly an inexperienced lion when it came to war and although he loved the thrill of battle since the loss of his mate it tasted so bitter. Perhaps that was simply the taste of revenge? For that was why Kondo fought with the Drati- to return the pain and hatred the Mizi had once shown him when they sacrificed the only lioness he had ever and would ever love. With her his heart had died.
Despite his reasons, a victory was always something to be savoured. He looked to his left to see both his current companions also covered in blood, a grin upon the face of the one he had come to know as Tayari. It was clear that he was very pleased with their actions this day and the way his eyes lingered and searched the land told Kondo that further bloodshed was on his mind... good, he had not yet satisfied his desire for vengeance and the Gods above knew how long he had waited to take it. In his current state of mind Kondo felt powerful, invincible, and perhaps even immortal!
His heavy paws left bloody foot prints upon the ground, casting his gaze back for a moment at the trail he had left he found a chuckle escaping his lips. Part of him pitied the poor souls who had lost their lives but the other part of him; currently the more dominate part, was pleased with himself and before he could control himself he spoke with a horse dry voice, "I wonder what poor soul will become our next victim!"

 (( Hey guys! My partner for my W4 RP went AWOL, so Kahiga has been moved to join this finale RP. :3 )) Brother, sister, father, mother – these were words meaningless to Kahiga. It did not matter if the lion he charged was the center of someone else's savannah, nor did it bother him if he exchanged blows with a proud new parent with cubs waiting for their return back home. To him, there were just more lions to match, to slash and claw before moving on without bothering to check if his foe was truly defeated or not. After all, what was the point?
His world had narrowed to himself and his companions – when a Mizimu lion attacked one, Kahiga was there to help take them down, or at least throw his weight around to pin the overgrown maggot-eating meerkat-lion down for his companions to swipe and rend.
Is this... really what he wanted? A crimson-soaked earth covered with the empty shells of fallen warriors? He growled to himself and shook his head, following the red-stained lions ahead of him. “Ha! Let any prey-hearted lion that crosses our path flee like the cur they are before our might! My claws thirst for the next cloud-headed fool who thinks they can take on the might of us!”
Well, appearances had to be kept up, after all. He felt better after he spoke his piece in a loud voice, trying to fill the empty void of claw and fang that has become second nature sense the fighting began.

Tayari proudly roamed the land feeling even more empowered than before. He looked back at his companions and felt almost as if he was surrounded by friends. They may just be warriors fighting side-by-side, but he felt as if he was truly considered to be one of them. "You ready for this?!" Tayari jumped, spinning around to face his comrades and let out a fierce roar that echoed throughout the battlefield. He then let out a grin that was tinged with madness.
Continuing on, it seemed as if they couldn't find any other lions, let alone one from the Mizi. The once prosperous and lively terrain had become desolate and lifeless. Tayari began to think they should turn around and continue in a different direction, but just as the thought crossed his mind he sighted a silhouette of a lion ahead. Well, what seemed to be a lion. There was something definitely different about this being.
Tayari felt his adrenaline begin to pump again. The wounds he had endured became numb. With a growl he turned to his comrades- It was time to continue the fight!

((Sorry only a short reply as my baby is suffering terribly from colic today and needs me -didn't want to leave you guys hanging.))
Kondo let out a roar of approval as his companions spoke, they seemed to hate the Mizi as much as he did -a good quality to have when killing was the objective.
As the figure ahead came into view he licked his lips, he could already taste the blood of the fallen, hear the screams and begging for mercy. "YES!" He cried, a roar lingering in the back of his throat as he set off at full pelt towards the figure, so ignorant of the strangness in the appearance of the stranger as he approached.

Kahiga snarled as Tayari suddenly whirled around, jumping in surprise at the movement and roar. He roared back in reply, shaking himself in order to regain his composure. "Ha! Do you even need to ask?" He challenged, lifting his head high. "Let any beast think highly of their own worth come forth and challenge us!"
Despite his challenge, Kahiga was actually glad no lion appeared to take up the challenge as they continued on. He wasn't made for traveling, nor was he as young and fit as his companions. Further and further behind he began to slip before the lion clenched his jaws and picked up the pace, determined to prove himself to his companions. After all, would would they say if they noticed he was getting tired?
At last they stopped as Tayari saw something. Greatful for the rest, Kahiga's jaw dropped open wide in order to greedily take in lungfuls of air in a fiendish grin, tongue lolling.
Kahiga nodded to Tayari as Kondo took off, choosing instead to circle wide around the lion ahead. He would try to take the other lion by surprise, hitting where he hoped the other least expected it.

He had waited, and watched he had been given a position to protect, and though Anupu was friendly and kind to all those he met of royal blood, or immortals in the haven of the gods, his steel blue eyes today were narrowed in cruelty. His usual lazy demeanor was gone and in it's place was the nobility and fury of a dragon king. He had waited to see how many would try and breech this area, and by his count they had sent a mere three, yet if he were not there to intercept them he had no doubt what damage three full grown males could do.
Not today though, he felt his chest swell with pride at the memory of the Warleader, the King of the Mizimi'Tungika he was a male who deserved to keep his place, his pride. Perhaps not by his actions, but who was he to judge actions? His only duty was to serve, protect, and advise those of royal blood, and today he would serve Sakata.
He leapt from the darkness then, golden wings unfurling and eyes focused on the three males. "You dare much today...and perhaps today will be your last. Let all traitors know, let the whole world know that the Warleader Sakata may command the aid of a God!" His crown and cloak were cast aside and he leapt with a fury towards Tayari first, his scaled and spiked tail lashed out towards the others.
He had no fear of this battle, even outnumbered simply by virtue of his ability to teleport, the scales that protected some of his body, and his size advantage, he would have thrown himself at a dozen mortals without fear, foolhardy perhaps.

Tayari was surprised to be focused first. He locked eyes with the creature and immediately felt fear creapt over him. With his mind focused back on the fight, Tayari slowed down to avoid being leaped on. He slowed and turned to the left to put some distance between himself and the ...lion?
Who or what the hell are we fighting?! Tayari thought to himself, Doesn't matter, it's three to one! He felt empowered and sure it wouldn't be too hard to take down this next foe.
Tayari roared trying to make his opponent focus on him, "Is that all you've got?!" He swiftly turned around and bared his fangs. With claws extended, Tayari charged the presumably Mizi lion, and leaped to attack.
((I guess my next post will correspond to what I roll 8D; ))

A shiver ran down his spine as an unfamilar signt appeared before him. He had only ever heard of the Gods -never seen one- yet here before him was such a creature. Elegant and graceful in movements yet it was clear that he was a born killed when he needed to be... and for the first time since the war had begun an all too mortal fear set in. Would today be the day he died? He could only hope that if that was to be his fate he would once again be reunited with his mate, and with that his vengance would be completed.
Horror stuck him as the God leapt toward Tayari, surely even the three of them could not stand a chance against such an opponant -yet the determination in the aura around his commard spurred on his courage.
After all today was a good day to die.
Letting out possibly his last battle cry Kondo extended his claws, bore his teeth, and lept with a fire he had never felt before. The Mizi needed to learn to change their ways....

What?! How?! Kahiga froze as the God cried his challenge. Already his comrades were rushing to the attack and he, Kahiga, was separated from them. He dropped his original plan to circle around the other lion God and attack from behind -- there would be no chance of that now.
"A God?! HA!" Kahiga roared as he ran towards them, "I've seen a more pleasant being on a warthog's backside!"

They had drive, but that was about all Anupu could say for the three males who faced him because none of them stood a chance. Still he didn't want to drag things out, others might come and then he might have containment issues. He landed infront of Tayari instead of on him as he had hoped, clearly fear had slowed the other down, or perhaps clever caution. The roar worked to gain his attention but not fully, he knew he would need to deal with all three.
He leapt again his paws and claws slapping out to try and catch his opponent in the head, disarm and disable that was probably going to be the easiest way of dealing with threats on all sides. A good blow to the head could buy him valuable time and the foolish rebel had leapt right towards him.
A growl ripped from his lips as he felt Kondo reach his back, he had no scales there, and claw and tooth pained him at much as any mortal. His wings slapped open and flapped trying to distract and knock the other lion away as he dealt with Tayari.
One steel blue eye flicked over as he realized the third male was quickly incoming as well, yes he would need to speed up.

He's a ...God?!
Tayari's opponent landed a blow straight to the head. A feeling of numbness overwhelmed him but he wasn't out for the count just yet. He made his way towards to lion, stumbling over his paws as he did so. There had to be someway that Tayari could help. Even if he didn't get the killing blow, Kondo and Kahiga needed help.
With a startling roar for his condition, Tayari swiped at his enemy. In his shape, the blow wouldn't do anything but get the God's attention.

Landing claws first onto the Gods back had been easier than he could have anticipated.
Claws digging in deep to the flesh of his opponant, blood leaked from the wounds just like any motal lion and to Kondo it mattered not that the lion beneith him was a God. In fact that only made for even greater sport. Thrusting his head forward, jaw open and teeth ready, he took a mouthful of the tender soft flesh, ripping it up towards him with as much aggression as he could muster. He tasted his vengence. He tasted victory.
Judgment clouded completely Kondo continued to rip into the Gods back, desperatly trying not to be shaken off, if they could bring down a God that would be a message the Mizi would not soon forget.
Revenge. That was all that mattered now.
Claws and teeth covered in fresh blood. Mind racing with ideas for his next attack Kondo found himself taken aback by a sudden arched movement of the God which caused him to be flung backwards. Suddenly flying through the air with incredible force, Kondo found himself trying to right himself -desperate to cushion his own fall in some way.
But before he knew what was happening he hit the ground with a great thud, his legs crumpled below his weight and his head hit the ground before bouncing up and hitting it once more. A strange sensation filled him, dizzy and disorientated he stood to his feet as best as he could -but still they shook below him. Blood ran down his face and his eye sight was blurred due to being bloodshot, his head ached and the pain in his legs was near unbearable... yet it would not stop him, if he was going to die this day he would do his best to teach the Mizi a lesson -they would not forget him if he had anything to do with it.
And with that he charged once more -unsure if it would be for the last time- his roar echoed around him, heart racing as his own blood mixed with that of the fallen on his pelt. The sticky red liquid was flowing like a river, and with each passing moment the dizziness was becoming replaced with a lightheadedness he had never experienced before. Habit set in, his body moving automatically as his claws emerged to strike once more....
This day would have meaning. This day would bring his vengence.

He felt his paw connect and watched the large male stumble, he was already turning his back even as he felt the weak blow. Yes the male was stunned for now and could be dealt with soon. It was the terror ripping at his back that he wanted to injure now.
He turned and roared his own fury in response to the charging lion, already though he could see the damage his wings had done. He felt cruelty rising within him, anger at the claw and bite marks the other had dared to make him endure. He would walk away this day, he would be victorious, but this brave fool would fall.
Without mercy he teleported above the male to land on his back, claws and fangs ready to shred at that most tender place, the neck. Anupu knew it wasn't fair, but what did he care for fairness? This was about teaching a brutal lesson and sending the rebels running scared.
((I know Maru still has a post, but I didn't want anything held up since this is the last day. I'll reply to hers when she posts.))
