Yes, the movie was strange, but it's fun to analyze. Like, did anyone notice how Edward and ...the girl played by Winona Ryder...were the only ones in the movie who wore black and white? Everyone else wore color.
I'm sure that's some sort of symbolism. Oh, that Tim Burton! What a kidder!
