He had long ago wished they could have been friends, it would have changed a great many things. He had wondered back than what such a unlife would have been like, as friends with his sire. The nights of those thoughts were long gone though, especially after all the trouble Lestat had caused that he'd gotten involved in. Not that he didn't choose to become involved, but it was the others fault...if he didn't care about him so much!
It all lead back to the smug blond. He kept comparing him to Angelus and how he and Lestat had gotten along to how he got along with Angelus. Louis would admit he found his fellow brunettes company more relaxed and calm, no fighting or completely trouble making ideas coming into play. With Lestat their was that random unpredictable nature with him, not something he himself indulged in...save for one time with that interview (he didn't count the things he'd done when Claudia had been alive). Lestat was the one who would suddenly get an idea into his head and run with it...like becoming some famous rock star or teasing David. Angelus didn't seem the sort to do any of the above things, and he liked that in a way. It meant their was no trouble around the bend and it also meant one could relax and be at peace.
Despite his liking for the calmness, and the lack of danger looming in the wings, he still missed the blond and that bothered him. It was this which he thought on most. Why was it that even now he missed the blond, the very same vampire who had caused such problems and had left him?
Shaking his dark head the green eyed unicorn, god if Lestat knew he was a unicorn he'd have a laugh, made toward the nearest source of water knowing he was likely to find some small animals around that he could feed upon.
Maybe seeking out Angelus, to speak his thoughts aloud to, would help him to clear things in his mind and make them make better sense? He could hope.
(Hope that makes sense and is good. But Louis is like comparing the two, not in a romantic manner - though it may sound like it, but rather in friendship and companionship.)
