I say we should have a Secret Valentine contest.
Maybe,
Set 3 price ranges, and the people who sign up for the certain price range will be paired with someone else in that range.
Also do a Secret Art Contest. {same concept, just using art, any time of the year}
If we were to do the Valentine one, we'd have to recrewt like hell beforehand.

hm..
i like art contests! : D
say for each holiday, or time of year, people sign up for the contest.
example: since valentines day is comming up, people will draw something tht has to do with valentines day, so you'd draw a cute couple picture of two random people, or whatever you want. c:
you'd have judges, the judges would be people tht didnt enter in the contest, and of coarse prizes. ^^

So then during events like valentines day like what 2ain said, we can draw themed arts and things with the mascot.
and our banner should have a mascot on it.

How about something that combines the efforts of more than one of the members? That way it isn't solely about who's better than who or the most featured, but something to get people involved, get to know each other since the guild is still pretty young and not very active.
Also, I think all these random artists would expect contests that features one prime artist (like every art guilds) and art in general isn't about being better than everyone, but expression. Maybe the least likely people would end up accenting each other perfectly.
Then at the end of the month or every however long have a "favourite piece of the month" or something. Get people together and not just setting up shops, getting crict all the time, etc.
friends, inspiration and an outlet.
