[AIM Log]

The morning had started off well, and Saccha was singing to herself. Her light voice carried passed her ears, but she didn't know how far her own voice would extend. She wrinkled her nose slightly with a smile at some birds that flitted by and continued singing, brown eyes dazzling with amusement and happiness - she could watch the scenery go by for the day, simply dancing to the sway of mature, the rythme of the wind.
Yes, today was a good day.

Bwana was just heading back to his group after a short break to empty himself when he heard something on the air. Light singing coming from... somewhere. Ears perking forward, the pruple lion wandered towards the source of the sound, his interest sparked as he finally found the creature behind the song. It was a young lioness, probably not completely grown just yet, with interesting colors to her coat.
He wasn't surprised to see a female, of course, as the voice had been much too light for a male to sing. At least, most males, anyway.
"That's a lovely song, my dear," he said lightly, "where did you learn it, if you don't mind my asking?"
Seaki
A small squeak came from the back of Saccha's throat in the middle of a word. She paused and almost stumbled with seeing a large male. SDhe wasn't used to seeing such a sight, having grown up sheltered. "Ah, My mother taught me when I was little," she responded with a little hesitation. Brown eyes glanced up into bright orange ones.
"And who might you be, sir?" She questioned with curiousity, shifting to look at him better.

Bwana only smiled, trying to relax her with a soft gaze and a relaxed body. After all, he had no intention of hurting her, there was no need for her to be frightened of him. "I'm sorry," he offered, "It hadn't been my intention to startle you, my dear. I do hope I haven't upset you." He sat himself down, tilting his head slightly to one side as he continued to watch her.
"Ah, my name is Bwana, forgive me for not introducing myself earlier," he replied with a bow of his head, a smile still on his plum features, "and what is your name?"
Seaki
The little lioness brightened immediately. "That's alright," she told him cheerfully. "It's a pleasure meet you, Bwana." She gave him a slight nod of the head. "I'm called Saccharose. Saccha or Rose for short, though," she kind of rambled. She gave a small hum, a small tune she had ctaught herself - meaningless really, as she thought.
It was hard for her to talk to others, sometimes - having only talked to Kit or her brother in a while, and obeying her mother. "Are you from around here, Bwana?" She asked. She had only recently started traveling herself, and she was quite far from her home, at that, with only Kitisho as her guide. He was away, though, hunting.
She gave a small smile and tossed her bangs in the coming breeze.
Cajanic
"Rose, I like that," Bwana replied lightly, glad she had a nickname. He wasn't sure he would remember something like Saccharose, pretty though it was. Sometimes he felt he was fairly horrible at remembering names. Ah well, there was really nothing he could do about his mind, now was there?
He focused instead on the young lioness he was still engaged in conversation with, his expression pleased.
"Why no, actually, I'm not from around here. I'm from a pride near the mountains called Suka'Fumo. If you wanted to know, you're talking to a king," he smiled innocently at that, not meaning to make her nervous or anything. Being a king was something he wasn't sure he enjoyed or not quite yet, but he still liked to tell other animals about it. Why?
He wasn't sure about that one. "What about you? What brings a young lioness out here?"
Seaki
A light frown marred the female's face for a moment - he wasn't then? She turned back to the male and looked at him with inquiring eyes, but he already began to answer her unasked question.
"A king?" her eyes widened slightly. Just her luck that she'd run into a king, the first lion she saw on her travel. A giggle drew from her, and she shook her head at her own thought. "Travel - I want to see the world..." Her eyes dazzled - she wanted to see it all.
Cajanic
"Ah, a good thing for the young to see," Bwana hummed with a nod of his head, "when I was your age, I was out seeing the world as well. It helped shape me into what I am today and I wouldn't change a minute of it." Well, except the parts where he felt stabbing regret for abandoning his pride and did something really stupid because of it every time it came about.
If he could just change the circumstances behind his travel, then he would really have no regrets.
"I hope you find everything you might not even know you're looking for on your travels. If you wanted, you could even drop by my pride some time. I would make sure the others treated you nicely while you visited." Yes, ask some stranger to see his pride. But, really, she didn't seem like a threat and he wanted to be nice to her.
Seaki
Brown eyes dazzled again in wonderment. He had seen the world? Really? She was excited, maybe she could get a story? "What... Hmm..." She paused looking over to the terrain around her, and wondering what question she should ask first.
"What's your pride like?" She asked, curious. "And... and, what was your favorite place of travel?" She decided to ask both - after all, what harm could they do?
After all, he said he hadn't regretted anything.
Cajanic
He smiled. "My pride is on a cliffside, with a large clearing at the base. It's surrounded by a large forest said to be inhabited by pixies. My pride members love performance. Singing, dancing, acting- they enjoy doing everything, Or at least, they used to, when they were under a different king. When my father took over, things slowly started to change. I never got to see a happy pride, only heard the stories. But now that I'm king I'm going to make sure the performances come back into their world." He sighed a little at the second question, trying to think of how best to answer it.
"There's water all along the edges of this land," he said at length, "you can see blue out until the horizon and even further. That I loved seeing. If you ever see the ocean, that's the name of all the water, I'm sure you'll enjoy it too."
Seaki
Saccharose smiled with the thought of preformances, but her smile tirned to a frown when she heard that his father had taken the preformances away from the pride. "How sad, I'm glad you're bringing the joy back to your pride," she waid with finality, and slightly mixed emotions from both the past and present of Bwana's pride.
"The... Ocean?" Her eyes lit again again. It sounded beautiful. She'd have to tell Kit! And they could go there. "Thank you..." She told him lightly. "I hope so," She girned at the purple male.
Cajanic
"Me too," he chuckled lightly, "I was worried at first, but I think I'll be able to make my pride smile again. If not, well, then they'll all go out and see the world as well, so I suppose it won't be all bad, now will it?" He didn't like the thought of everyone leaving, but he had faith that it wouldn't happen. Not as long as he had some loyal subjects who were there to help him out with things.
And some others who were only there to make sure he didn't ******** up like his father had.
He grinned, glad the conversation was taking a happy note. There was no need to talk about sad things now.
"Well, perhaps I should let you get back to your song. I didn't mean to keep you from it for so long. I need to get back, anyway."
Seaki
"I suppose not," Saccha said after a thoughful pause. She gave a half grin and shrugged lightly - she had never been a part of a pride. She gave him a soft smile when she heard his leaving note. "Of course!" She swayed with the breeze lightly, and gave a hum.
"Didn't mean to keep your either, King Bwana~" She sang the end, and began her song again.
A pause, "I'll see you around," she told him, let her words drift back into the song she was singing, and she let her body move to her own music, and to the music around her.
Cajanic
"I hope so! I will give you a tour of my pride myself if you do decide to visit us," he hummed lightly, turning to head back the way he had come. It was nice to see young creatures out there that weren't looking to pick a fight with everyone they came in contact with. Perhaps if she had been a little older...
No, that was a naughty thought. Kings didn't have naughty thoughts.
He looked over his shoulder, just making sure she was heading off without any kind of last-minute problem, before continuing his journey back to his friends. Another story he would have to tell Fara about, if only to make him upset that he had once again wandered off on his own.
