 It was a beautiful, cloudless day on the beaches of Kell. The water crashed upon the soft sand, drawing some of it back it the ocean depths. A large piece of driftwood was settled in the sand, its bark was gray and soft with age. Leafia stood atop a knot on the log, holding her arms out for balance. She absolutely loved spending time on the beach, especially one with so many treasures.
With her arms still outstretched, the sireni jumped for her perch. Her impact left deep footprints in the sand and she smiled as she wiggled the sand out between her toes.

 Atieno had not been out like this in what seemed like forever. Though he was glad to finally get to stretch his legs and wings a bit. To make it even more wonderful, today seemed like the perfect day! No clouds in the sky and he could hear the waves crashing up onto the sands of the Kell beaches. As he thought of the waves deep in his mind, a part of him wanted to rush right into them. "Well it couldn't hurt to go to have some fun," he said as he quickly raced off towards the beach. Running at the fasted speed possible his feet touched the sand, and that was when he could contain his excitement no more. Atieno happily yelled with a smile on his face, "woohoo!" as he began to run towards the far side of the beach. As soon as he reached the perfect speed he jumped up in the air, and began to roll down the sand like a beach ball.

Leafia's ear twitched when she heard someone yelling. Drawing her attention up from her toes, she scanned the beach to quickly find something odd. It was bright blue and rolling down the sand towards the water. It looked like a ball, but a sorta funky ball.
Leaning against the driftwood behind her, Leafia stood there for a moment, puzzled. What was that thing? The ball sped closer to the ocean, and soon, it may be totally washed away. Making a split decision, the female darted towards the ball. She wanted to catch it and play with it before it was lost to the waves!

Atieno just continued rolling not noticing the female. Until he hit the water and noticed her chasing him. She was beautiful and reminded him of the leaves he so loved to chase in the fall. He was breath taken, though he was not to sure of what to do. So he quickly sprung out of ball form, not even thinking what would happen with the wind blowing today.
Though only to find out quickly as he was knocked backwards by the wind. Accidently landing on the leaf like female. Completely unaware of what had happened he scanned the beach with urge. Scared something had happened to her when he changed forms. Only to soon notice he was on top of her. "Oh my!! I'm so terribley sorry! Are you alright?," he said with hopes she was.

Spriting forward, Leafia was surprised when the ball hit the water and.. popped? "Oh!" she cried out, finally realizing that it was actually a ghostling. She only had a slight second to see this until he came flying at her.
With some force, Leafia was thrown backwards. Although the sand did cushion some of her fall, she still felt dizzy and disorientated. She felt like she couldn't breath properly, as if there was something blocking her lungs from expanding. She slowly opened her emerald eyes, and she was face to face with the blue boy. She gasped, her lids fluttering. "Wh-what happened?" Leafia questioned softly, her mouth hung slightly open.

Atieno had just noticed that not only had he knocked the female ghostling over, but was also on top of her. A bright blush began to cover his checks, as he began to quickly flap his wings. As his wings lifted him off of the female, he couldn't help but think to himself, "Oh no, how could this have happened? I thought no one came to this beach anymore?" With his feet landing on the ground beside her, he quietly knelt down beside her. He began to look her over and listen to her breathing, just to make sure she wasn't seriously injured or anything.
As he listened to her question he responded as kindly as he could with a blush still engulfing his face, "The wind blew me back and I landed on you ... Can you breath alright though?"
