I mean it's almost all combat oriented. >_>
The final boss has an attack that lowers your hp to 1!
edit: I'm really stupid...I keep running into the bombs when I try to hide behind pillars, get hit a 50, and then he hits me with the 75. XD

I've given up on doing quests almost altogether. I'm still stuck on Summer's End - there's no way I'm doing THIS quest.
With them coming out with more and more difficult quests, I KNOW they're trying to give us a challenge, but DAMN. It's a game, give us a break! It's not meant to stress us out into having gray!

Gain the ability Wonder Guard, and don't wear any armor or anything that will put any Defence stat into a negative.

I for once actually thing Jagex did a great job. Sure the storyline was a bit crappy. I didn't do the quest, but I know how it goes. What I was really eager about was Nomad. Challenging boss fight. Finally.

After my 2nd try I gave up for a while, I think I actually need better equipment... Definitely need to use a summon next time though 3nodding
btw, the attack doesn't lower your hp to 1, it does your max HP -1 so that makes it really advisable to use rocktails/sara brews for the max HP boost. at least I'm pretty sure it does that, since I really don't want to risk dying...

It seems you respawn in soul wards. Might as well use void in the fight against Nomad.

The boss fight seems unnecessarily, frustratingly overpowered; from reading other peoples' success stories, I don't know why Jagex didn't just have some of the quest requirements be high Fishing/Mining, Herblore, and Summoning. :/ I'm going to try it anyway...I want my quest cape back. The RuneScape combat mechanics piss me off so much sometimes. @ Renette: Summer's End is super frustrating! Which part are you stuck at? Having access to the Oo'glog pools helps a lot.

I completely agree with you on the herblore and summoning, I feel like I need to train it more just so I can beat the boss, most of the people saying they beat it used the overload potion, which I'm sure helps a lot.

Silver Gryphon @ Renette: Summer's End is super frustrating! Which part are you stuck at? Having access to the Oo'glog pools helps a lot. I'm stuck at the part of creating the fires to weaken the beast - I don't play with sound, so I can't coordinate his attack with my dodge. It's not that I run out of energy - it's just I always get hit and DIE. >.> I'm not a fan of dying in quests. -shrug- These last batches of quests.... I understand Jagex's time and efforts into making a challenging and rewarding experience. But I honestly don't want to tear my hair out over attempting them because I have NO HOPE with it. I already have combat anxiety, I don't need them to add to it.

While Guthix Sleeps was fun. I mean, two Grandmaster quests is a small sample pool to look at, but having one made of awesome and the second made of terrible is kind of disappointing. I already have combat anxiety, I don't need them to add to it. You're going to want to have sound effects on for this, at least. Also it's okay to place a log, run, and then come back to that pit...actually by "it's okay" I mean "you kind of have to do that" because there's no place-all function. >_< At least you only need a couple items for each part. so if the Beast kills you, you'll keep your good axe unless something's gone horribly wrong. And I think once you get a fire lit, it'll count for the next one too, so you don't have to do all three in one go.

Masterfelix5 I completely agree with you on the herblore and summoning, I feel like I need to train it more just so I can beat the boss, most of the people saying they beat it used the overload potion, which I'm sure helps a lot. I actually have not gotten to the boss fight yet; I'm still at the part with the roots and the huge monster. sweatdrop After starting the quest on release day, I took a break after exploring, looked at the Recent Updates forum, and basically thought "screw this" and went back to Farming or Slayer whatever it was I had been doing. Here are my stats! As you can see, I don't have super high combat stats for any one method, and the best burden familiar I can summon is a Terrorbird, so I'm just going to try and half-a** the boss fight with powerful ranged stuff, tuna potatoes, and lots of running. biggrin (do Crystal Bows decay upon death? I can make ruby bolts (e), but can't smith them from raw adamantite, and everyone else is probably trying to buy them...)

Lots of running doesn't seem to help either sadly, only time you need to run is when he's about the use his 75 damage attack, which thankfully I haven't been hit by it yet, but I heard there are safe spots that you can stay at for a short time until he says "Face me!" then if you wait more after that he'll completely restore his hp, which is obviously bad blaugh Crystal Bows don't decay when you die because they decay according to how many shots you fire, has nothing to do with if your in combat or not, like barrows armor.
