Mt. Moon

Mt. Moon sits nestled in between Pewter City and Cerulean City and seems almost impossible to climb. Once upon a time trainers were forced to travel it's extensive caverns to reach the other side so, a straight through pass was carved out. Unfortunately, shortly after that pass collapsed so, once again we must climb or stumble in the dark. Mt. Moon is known for being one of the few places that wild Clefairy can be found and for its frequent meteor falls. The shards of meteorites that fall here become Moon Stones, thus giving it the name Mt. Moon. The mountain is also known for being home to Pokémon fossils. Brock digs for fossils here in his spare time. At the top is Mt. Moon Square; a place so hard to get to that many people have never seen it up close. It's said that occasionally many rare pokemon appear here to rest away from human eyes. Mt. Moon Square has a wide ecosystem and diverse pokemon. It is an untouched paradise with a freshwater pond and temperate wooded surrounding much like an oasis.
