Keegan shut his eyes. For a moment, only a moment. Sleep was a rare thing when you had to do everything yourself. Of course Bree was off handling business, carrying some of the load. But really, without him everything would just fall apart. And Apate would not be pleased. Keegan was the ultimate multitasking personal assistant of the easily corrupt world. His job was his life, and his job pretty much took over everyone else's lives. The pawns.

There was virtually nothing a wolf couldn't have if he knew which strings to pull, and which keys to stroke. Something he would soon prove in regards to a certain bizarre, newly emerged queen. If he played his cards right, and he would, she'd be no more than a kept pet. Even her army would be at his mercy. Profit was such a beautiful thing.

Only a short amount of time had passed, but it was enough for the sun to disappear completely before the blue male awoke again. Not one to believe in sleeping long amounts of time, Keegan much preferred to sleep so small amounts of time, scattered throughout the day. But the coolness of night had set in, and it was time to start managing things again. Being an opportunity magnet, he was certain it wouldn't take too long to find something worth while in investing in.

With a stretch and a yawn, the male stepped out of his temporary den and padded through the snow drifts, ears tucked close to his head.

She was not the type to leave the lands of Reign of Terror. She was far more likely to be found deep within the roots of it next to Chernabog, or Static. She had great respect for her elders, of course.. But Static was the one that could get under her skin and make her wish she could tear out her eyes with her fangs.

Today was a different story however, and the urge to walk about gave her the nessacary excuse to slip through the boundaries. If Chern should find out, he'd be angry she was sure. She needed to make sure to be back rather soon.
Didn't need to upset the Alpha if she didnt have to. This wasnt one of those things that was life or death.. Not like it would be if she was discovered missing. Returning home was far more important to her.

Her tail was low, her head rather high. She held herself proud, but her tail still spoke of her lack of rank. She was a Gamma in a pack full of dangerous higher ranking wolves.
She was pretty good at keeping up with the best of them though, or at least she tried.

Her ears swiveled, and her nose scented the air. Someone was out here.
She first feared it would be a packmember already out to search for her and return her back home.
But lowering her head to the earth, she scented another that did not belong to..any pack.

Lifting her head, she padded the opposite way of where she had assumed the other wolf was walking.
If only she had known..

Negotiations were forever interesting prospects. They dealt very closely with the 'scratch my back and I'll scratch yours' section of business. These Keegan was particularly fond of, but in a world as exclusive as his, every deal left a little wiggle room. Loopholes were every wolf's god given right, but not every wolf was expected to realize this. Why, if they did, it would just piss on his day.

Maw lifting in a cheerful smile as his mind raced over the latest prospects the male felt an almost extra spring to his step. He enjoyed nights like these, nights which would surely stretch long into the early hours of the next morning. It wasn't until something of a light orange caught in the corner of his eye that he wasn't nearly as alone as he had originally assumed.

Well, Bree always said assumptions made an a** out of him.

The wind wasn't blowing in his favor, but it didn't take a field guide genius to see this new figure was female.

He liked girls, they were easy to over power, easy to trick, and even easier to find with trouble in their wakes.

"Hold up, Miss, didn't anyone ever tell you not to travel alone?"

It would have been easy to bust out his most charming smile, or present himself in his most innocent light, but there was an edge about this girl that told him it wasn't really necessary. His notoriously cruel eyes trained themselves upon her, and his sinewy body went stiff with almost cold apprehension.
