Strange, mysterious; you have no clue where you are or how long you'll be staying on this island.

The island seems endless-- forest after forest of thick trees, vines, and wild plants. There are fruit to eat, but there seems to be a mystery shrouding in the dark center of the island.

After the vacation ship you were on crashed and has sank to the bottom of the ocean, only you and a handful of people managed to float to safety. Without friends, without family, you have no idea who they are.

So, what do you do? Do you stay on your own, or join the others to find a way to get back home?

Either way, you're stranded.

"Adrian, I'm hungry!" Joshua whined. Why had he even bothered coming on this trip? This was awful. His mother had tried to convince him not to go, she had tried to tell him he'd be away from home too long... Why hadn't he listened? Now he was stuck here, on this deserted island of horribleness. Not a pretty girl in sight. Where on Gaia were they? "Adrian! Where are we?"

"Some uncharted island I expect," Adrian said with a grin. His younger cousin had made things amusing so far. After the crash he had gotten worse; whining, missing his family, missing school, missing things children usually took for granted.

"Uncharted island?" Joshua asked, going pale. "But then we'll never get home!"

"Come on Josh. We'll get home, you'll see." Nikos broke in. He was a tall man, well into his twenties. Black hair covered his ears and kept falling into his eyes. "This won't be a Gilligan's Island repeat, promise."

Soft, wet sand felt soothing on Audrey's sore feet, as she kept wandering the shore. When she woke up on the same shore, she was alone, and had yet to find anyone else. There were so many people on the ship--- How could they all be gone? Her footprints trailed behind her, only to be erased by the creeping waves. A crab scuttled along, Audrey walked around it.

She lost her shoes, her clothes somewhat worn out, but her locket remained around her neck. Audrey was grateful for that, at this point, it was all the mattered to her. As she kept roaming, she popped it open to take a look at the picture inside. His face, soggy by the waves, but Audrey could still tell who it was.

"Hello?" she called out, hoping someone could hear her. She had been doing that occasionally, waiting for someone to arrive and help her.

Celeste sat on the beach with her eyes closed, letting the light breeze blow through her wet, black hair. Celeste rarely did this as her hair was usually spiked and full of hair gel. But after her unintentional swim in the ocean when the boat sank it was all washed away. She really did love the beach.

Celeste sighed, standing up and brushing the sand off of her slightly torn pants. She started walking down the beach in search of any signs of the wreckage or other people. There had to be someone else on this island, she was sure of it! After all there had been so many people on the ship, they had to have come to this island too. Better to stay together and figure this out than all be spread out all over the island.

It was Nikos who first heard Audrey's voice. "Listen, Josh," he said, before the preteen could complain about the island lacking something else. "Someone else is here too. I'd imagine they were on the same ship we were. Let's go see if they have any ideas about how we can survive here." The elf put it so bluntly that Joshua had to stare at him.

"We might die?" he asked in a whisper.

"Yup."

"But then I'll never see--"

"Now look what you've started!" Adrian snapped, glaring at Nikos. "Whoever it is, it sounds like a girl, and she doesn't sound too far off. Let's go find her, and then we'll look for shelter." He paused, before calling out, "Hello? Are you there?"

Surprised of hearing another voice, Audrey stumbled, and broke out into a run towards the voice. "I am here!" she shouted, then turning the corner.

Slowing down at the site of the two boys, Audrey smiled at the strangers. "It is quite a relief," she finally said. "To see others here as well."

Celeste stumbled along the beach, growing more tired by the minute. 'How big was this island anyway?' She wondered. She hadn't seen any signs of anyone else on the island yet. Her thoughts were interupted as she tripped over a rather large crab, falling down on to her knees. She glared as it scutled away. "Stupid crab." She muttered. Celeste stood up, glancing around to see what her options were. Either continue heading along the beach or head into the forest to try and make shelter. Celeste looked at the sky and frowned. It'd be getting dark soon, and it looked like it may rain. 'Better to have a shelter.' She thought. Besides, what animals could possibly be in the forest? Certainly nothing she couldn't handle. Without a second thought walked towards the forest, disapearing into the trees.

Nikos looked interested as he studied Audrey for a moment. Adrian had been right, it was a girl. A pretty one at that. He gave her a polite smile. "It's a relief to us as well. It looks like it may rain however, so this reunion must be short lived. Have you seen anywhere we can take shelter in?"

Unfortunately for Nikos, a certain thirteen year old boy also thought Audrey was pretty. He didn't say it, though he was thinking it. He was inwardly worrying about dying. What if they never got home? 'Hi, I'm Joshua," he greeted with a forced smile.

"I saw some bananas over there," Adrian pointed out helpfully.

Audrey couldn't help but to smile at Adrian's attempt to help. "That could help us." she replied. "We could use banana leaves and other vines and wood to build a shelter." As if she just remembered, she said, "My name is Audrey Worth."

"There's a ton of drift wood on the beach!" Joshua put in helpfully. "And I saw some ropes that washed up from the ship, too. One time my brother and I made a fort out of drift wood--and--" Nikos stared at him for a moment. What had changed to make the boy so helpful?

"And you didn't bother telling us before now?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"You didn't ask. I'll go get some!" The thirteen year old boy hurried off to the shore.

Nikos rolled his eyes. "He'll be gone for a while. Anyway, I'm Nikos Zexon," he said, giving Audrey a smile. "This is Adrian," he gestured to the teenager behind him.

Celeste smiled as she looked at her shelter, admiring her craftmanship. She'd managed to make a shelter out of some medium branches she'd found and a bit of rope she'd seen while walking along the shore. She'd then put some leaves over the top of her frame, hoping it'd be enough to keep the rain out. Taking that class with her brother about survival in the wilderneess had really paid off!

Celeste looked at the sky frowning. It looked like it'd start raining at any minute. She'd better get the fire going if she wanted to stay warm tonight. Luckily she'd found a small clearing in the forest so she was able to make a fire without setting the whole forest on fire. Celeste sat down by the pile of sticks under he shelter and started rubbing two of the sticks together. It was going to be a long, long night.
