Sailor Vanadis was running from a youma. This did not seem the appropriate response of a senshi towards a Negaverse opponent, but frankly that was the last thing on her mind.
The damn thing had been following her all the way from the industrial part of town down to the park, which was quite a sizeable way from each other and probably not a route that Vanadis ever could've run in her civilian form. Fortunately for her, being a senshi came with a few plusses - but all the same, she was getting tired, and she'd been running the thing in circles for the last five minutes or more.
"C'mon little senshi, give up and stop running already." A raspy voice, well, rasped behind her. Maybe she should stop running, but frankly the thing was huge and scary as bugger all and she was really, really sure that it'd be suicide to go against it by herself.
"H-heeeeeelp!" It was little more than a wheezy shout and not the lung-squashing scream she'd aimed for, but hopefully it'd do. Sailor Vanadis was losing breath and starting to lose speed, too.

To be frank, senshi-duties were kind of getting to Ji-Yeon's head. The lack of sleep, the physical aspects, and oh my goodness, the infinite web of lies she caught herself in to cover for the battle-scars and disappearing in the middle of the night. Whatever! The good part was, her stamina was beginning to build up. However, the worst part of course being, the fact that Ji-Yeon really couldn't scratch a lieutenant or a youma despite how much she wanted to.
Suddenly, however, a shriek of help could be heard, it sounded like a cry of a hard-core smoker. Though her steps were timid at first, she increasingly gained speed towards where the possible damsel-in-distress was located. There she spotted a fellow senshi with adorable red-pigtails being chased by a horrid youma. What to do? Even if Ji-Yeon were to jump down there, the most she could do was provide a 3o-second distraction. No matter, they'd figure out something. It was a proven fact that interactions with other senshi were always interesting. With a new-found leap in her step, Ji-Yeon jumped down from above, attempting a kick at the youma. Props for ambush?

Props indeed. The youma had only one eye, as grotesque as the rest of it, and that one eye had been firmly trained on Vanadis for the last quarter. Oh yes, it was so close it could nearly taste the girl! It'd rip off her arms and crush her legs, just as soon as it'd gotten her damn starseed for its superio-- the <********>?
The youma turned around faster than one of its size should have been able to, clutching the back of its head where the new senshi had managed a kick - and those shoes were heavier than they looked, seriously. "Another one?" Just more starseeds for the Negaverse, then!
Vanadis stopped, turned, and watched with fearful eyes as another senshi came onto the scene. This was awesome!.. except the fact that being two didn't neccessarily make them stronger than one youma. And to be honest, the newcomer looked sort of, well, sugar-y cute. Wouldn't a badass youma-killing senshi look more badass?
She briefly considered running, but it was brief and guilt immediately blossomed in her stomach at the thought. No! The other girl might not look very badass, but she was obviously more so than Vanadis was and anyway, how much did she really know about senshi powers, really? This girl could be the a**-kicking-iest senshi in the history of senshi!
With that uplifting thought, she gave a battle yell - well, a squeak, anyhow - and clenched her fists together to hit the youma.
Which just turned around and raised an eyebrow. So obviously the middle wasn't its weak spot.
"Um, oops?"
