The lights dim down real low leaving the arena almost pitch black. Only one blue spotlight shines down on the stage waiting for the next entrance to begin. A guitar begins picking,
Keep you in the dark
You know they all pretend
Keep you in the dark
And so it all begins
And the drums began beating and the fans leap to their feet, clapping in time with the music! Freddie "The Honest" jumps from behind the tapered GWWF curtains to the standing ovation. His blue flannel shirt, which he wore unbuttoned, whips back and forth as he hurries down the ramp. On his way, Freddie tags the hands of anyone to the right of the ramp. He reaches the ring and slides in near the ring steps.
Freddie, always a fan favorite, had been missing from GWWF and every other professional ring for several months now. He made his return Sunday at Wrestlefest in the most peculiar way, and for Freddie peculiar was more often normal.
Freddie jumps to his feet and tightens his blue paisley bandana. While the fans continue to cheer he crosses the ring. Freddie leans over the top rope and requests a microphone. Dallas, tosses one up to Freddie and he catches it easily. Freddie looks left then right before lifting the microphone to his mouth, "Welly, welly, welly, welly, well look who is back."
The fans pop some more, cutting Freddie off short of his speach. He smirks a smug smirk and sticks one hand in his pocket. Again he raises the microphone, "To be honest, and you know I always am, I would not have returned if I was not presented with the most opportune moment imaginable. That would be Guy Cancer as GWWF Champion." Showing their distaste of Cancer, the crowd boo's. "I know! I know! The Guy smells bad. I will explain why Cartwright was an unfortnate victim of my Cave In at Wrestlefest. Cartwright, if I were you I would take it as a compliment. I made you lose your Championship because I knew that I stand a better chance beating Guy Cancer than I do you. And now with Codi Paig- actually it was Codi Paige who came to me with this and basically 'make sure Cartwright doesn't win and you'll be GWWF Champion in no time.' So now the cats out of the bag, and that's the truth. I wouldn't lie, would I?
"So now all I have to do is sit around and wait for another Championship opportunity. It's going to happen, you'll see. I wouldn't lie." The crowd cheer for another title run for Freddie. Freddie tosses the microphone to the mat and it hits with a phizz. The fans cheer more as Freddie remains in the ring for a moment posing for picture before GWWF cuts to commerial.
