Angry, Strider yelled over his shoulder at Casper, "Go to the bombed field; I'm fighting him. You know what to do."

Casper raised her eyebrows and back out of the room quickly, running to the tent they shared and collecting what she needed.

The AoC&S is giving them a fighting chance by not telling the AoT what she's doing.

Strider looked across the battlefield, his eyes narrowed, the only sign of emotion his crimson irises.

Casper planted her katana in the ground, leaning her weight on it.

((the AoC&S says BRING IT while unlocking the door being heavily assaulted in her mind. scary, sick, and twisted thoughts pour out *there is no emoticon to describe*))

"Hey!" Casper yelled angrily at the creature, her eyes equally red. The AoC&S would like to point out that she really doesn't like getting picked on, because it make her feel even more insignificant to Strider (he is a rather hard example to live up to).

Strider, still suffering from OPBS turned to make sure she was okay, and noting that all the monster had succeeded in doing was piss her off, he turned, waiting for the creature to make the first move.

At the same moment that the monster created the shock wave, Strider unfolded his large wings, using the wave under his foot to launch high above the monster's head and study it in great detail. He circled around, trying to find some sort of weak spot, pulling a small flash grenade from his pocket.

The grenade fell, exploding before the monster's eyes.

Casper meanwhile was simply sitting on the sidelines, watching with a half smirk, half frown, trying to decide how the battle would end up from the differences in the two competitors. She was entirely oblivious to Faust.

Strider flew above the monster's reach.
"Take two," he said to himself, diving quickly past the monster's head, zipping around it, under it, beside it, and everywhere like an annoying fly, after all, that was his model in this case.

Casper (AoC&S would like to describe that she was sitting on the ground, her katana sticking straight out of the dirt beside her) meanwhile, was startled by the sound of Faust's voice and, as she turned to look at him, her elbow collided with her katana, knocking it over so that it bounced off her head, making her jump again, and landed in her lap.

"Wha-?" she started, but just glared at the sword, shook her head, and crossed her arms, not noticing the cut on her arm that was slowly dripping blood.

Strider, meanwhile, after landing on the ground, noting that the monster was coming for him, knew that he needed a minute to recover, and used his powers to shield him as he created a tunnel in the earth to hide out in. His OPBS quickly caught up with him and he launched himself out of the earth, flying high above the monster to recuperate and spotted Casper. He had to be restrained from thrashing the AoT&F and Faust himself by the AoC&S.

Casper, who seems to be agreeing with her author on the 'things are moving very quickly' thought, felt like going back to bed for a few hours when, from sitting on the ground with a katana on her lap and glaring at it to not having a bleeding wound and being in the arms of someone she doesn't know could do almost nothing, except somehow she managed to blush.

Strider was equally angry, wanting to destroy this monster so he could give the guy talking to Casper a piece of his mind. (He didn't take his OPBS meds this morning, considering he expected Casper to sit in front of a computer all day.)

Casper pinched the bridge of her nose with her fingers, sighing and extending her own hand.
"Casper. Er, can I ask, who sent you?"

Strider, fed up, sent his own shock wave down to the creature, watching in satisfaction as it began to crack a bit and crumbled. The AoC&S would like to point out that Strider and Casper share/fight over the Mountain Dew and that the candy stash is actually an old memeber's that used to share Casper's room before she died last year. Casper never bothered to look for it, considering the newest piece of candy is from 1994.

Casper chuckled a bit and shook here head. "Sorry, a family habit. Strider does it, too."

((the AoC&S would like to point out that her evil dad's girlfriend stocked the fridge with Mountain Dew and she is content without needing what is at the Ruinous (though that will be remembered for a funny little joke when the war is over.)))
