Crush had made her way into a rather small clearing in the middle of the woods, as her chase seemed to take a dead end here. A small white rabbit shook fearfully near a rock and Crush was stomping a hoof angrily in the snow "I'll teach you for sneaking up on me, you rodent." She hissed at the animal as it cowered.
Madoka had been in her own little world that day. She was watching the snow on the ground as she weaved in and out of the trees of the forest. She hadn't had to much experience with snow, so she still felt excited about see it. Not paying to much attention to her surroundings, she had wandered out into the same field that an oranged haired horse was. Her pink eyes would soon fall upon the seen, causing her to notice the bunny, and then the other mare. "You have a cute bunny there miss."
Crush's head spun almost violently, a cold stare in here eyes. "WHO ARE YOU?" She seemed to scream without raising her voice. Before the mare could answer she turned back to the rabbit, noticing it looking for a way out. As it ran to the left, Crush let out a strong kick, matching her hoof the the rear of the rabbit and sending it into the woods where it was heard strugling through the underbrush. Crush spund around quickly to the offending mare who had snuck up on her as well. "Seems all sorts of animals sneak up on me today." Her eyes seemed to flash suddenly from strength to fear as she backed away towards the trees. "What do you want with me?"
Madoka had a spacey air around her. She smiled, and cooed to the bunny, but as it tried to run, the other mare kicked it. She tilted her head slightly, and was about to go after the bunny when she was for the most part, confronted by the other mare. With a smile Madoka looked over at her. She seemed almost scared... "Oh, I wasn't sneaking up on you. My hooves took me this way." Madoka was never One to make decisions like where to go. It was a bad habit really. "I want nothing from you. Unless you have something to give." She smiled again. The mare was actaully rather pretty, Madoka thought, her pelt matched that of the snow. "Though I do think you should appoligize to the bunny."
Crush snorted, seeming really to only care about her insinuation that the bunny deserved an apology. Her head seemed to raise back to a confident position. "It doesn't deserve one. It should be thanking me, really. Or you. I would have done worse if you hadn't shown up." She eyed the other mare for a moment, wondering what she was doing wandering alone. Perhaps she was strong enough to hold her own out here. It wasn't unheard of. It was then that Crush fell into a fit of paranoia as she heard movement behind her in the woods. A small creature, no doubt, but once the thoughts entered her head, of danger, it was no use. Monsters buzzed around the mare's brain as if haunting her. A crazed sort of look flashed over her face and she turned harshly to the woods, almost screeching at nothing "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?" She seemed to back away in a craze, forgetting about the mare behind her.
Madoka blinked a few times. This was an interesting scene going on before her. She watched the other mare and wondered what it was that she was yelling it. It would take a little for Madoke to pick up that it was probably something mental. She stood still watching as the other mare back closer to her. "Ah... Do you need anything help? If there's something after you, I would gladly help you confront them." She smiled over at her. Madoka wasn't exactly strong. But she often always barely escapsed any harm, or anything that caused her to fight. She was lucky like that. Or... ignorant.
Crush's head spun wildly at Madoka, clearly not over her fit of paranoia. To Crush, it was like all the bad in the world was closing in on her like some sort of room filled with monsters that she couldn't escape. She was terrified. The Mare's words only registered as babble, and Crush instead began to back away from her. "G-get away." She hooved at the ground slightly as her fear seemed to cloud her vision. She was confused and disoriented, unable to comprehend where to go to be safe.
Madoka glanced around and then took a few steps back. "Well all you had to do was ask. I would glady move." She smiled again. Yes, there was something going on with this mare, and she was now getting more curious about it. But right now she looked panicky. The best one could do was to give her space. "Should I move back even more?" She looked behind her, looking for how much space was there. "If there's anything I can do for you... Please tell me." She looked over at the mare with a worried look.
The words seemed to fly right over Crush's head. She didn't respond, instead starting at the mare with fearful eyes. After a moment a pained look seemed to cover her face, and she began to grunt and mumble, shaking her head as if trying to shake loose the demons. Her shaking escalated into violent bucking and louder screams, and after a moment she had passed out, laying still in the snow. After only a few seconds she stirred, not unconcious anymore, but not yet aware.
Madoka was utterly shocked by what just happened. She looked around to see if anyone else had been tehre and saw what she just did. But there didn't seem to be another pair of eyes. She couldn't leave the mare there... Smething truely horrible could happen to her. Even if she was.... strange. Madoka took a few steps near her... "I'm coming closer to you." She deicded that annoucning her approve would be the best. She stood a couple feet away from the mare and looked down. Good, she was still breathing, but she wasn't to sure if she would try and make her more aware or not... She leaned over and nosed her head slightly, before quickly pulling back.
Crush stirred and grunted, her eyes drawing open eventually and lifting her head slowly. She looked around as if she didn't know where she was, as if what had happened never did. "Wh....where am I?" Se looked to Madoka with a slight startle. "Who are you? D-don't hurt me." She seemed to struggle backwards a little while still on the ground, clearly confused about where she was.
Madoka was rather confused by the whole situation. Least it made her day interesting right? Madoka realized that she was close to the other mare, and she took a few steps back. "Sorry about that... A-are you okay? You kind of... just fall over.. And.. as for where you are..."She looked around. "I'm not all that sure either. I jsut happen to wander here. And I have no intention of hurting you." She smiled weakly. She wondered if the mare knew what happened just earlier. She seemed very confused.
Crush stumbled onto her feet, keeping her eyes on this mare. She wondered why she was passed out and why this mare was hovering around her. Maybe she was the one who had caused her to black out. "I-I don't trust you..." She backed away slightly, but didn't look to have any intention of running away.
"Ahh.. Yeah I don't trust me either." It was true. She was never sure of her choices and such, so it made sense that she didn't trust herself. She hooved at the ground some and looked at the other mare. "I have no intention to hurt you... I was jsut making sure you were okay. Earlier you seemed rather upset." She watched carefully for the mares reaction.
Crush looked baffled. How could this mare not trust herself. Was she really dangerous? So much so that even she herself didn't trust her? Crush was only confusing herself more. It didn't help that this mare didn't seem dangerous. "W-what do you mean earlier? What happened? I don't remember anything..."
So... It seemed like there was something wrong with this mare.. mentaly? Madoka wasn't to sure about this... "You don't remember? Well... I wandered into this field, and you got upset, I guess at a bunny and you kicked it... Then you started yelling at the woods, 'What do you want from me' And then you realized you got close to me, and then came over here and ... jsut fall over." She blinked, trying to make sure she remembered all of it correctly. There was alot of information really.
Crush's brows furrowed towards her nose in confusion. She truthfully had no idea what was happening. "I don't know what you're talking about. A-all I remember is waking up here with you hovering around me." She seemed to be slipping into a fit of paranoia again, getting antsy and uncomfrotable. "How do I know you're not lying to me..."
"Well, I guess you don't know. But I have no reason to lye, seeing as I ust met you." She thought some. "If I really make you that uncomfrotable, I can leave you alone. " She smiled. She kind of liked the compmany, but it was getting to be a little stressful. "I have no way to prove to you, why you should trust me."
Crush couldn't decide if she owuld be more safe alone or with this mare. The more she thought about it, the less she seemed to remember about this mare being 'dangerous'. "N-No. Don't leave." She turned towards the woods and backed away from them slightly, as if she knew something lurked there in the trees. "Don't let them get me..." She whispered feebly.
Ahh, now that the mare seemed to have a change of heart, Madoka might be able to figure out what was going on. But she still kept her distance. Madoka was even surprising herself, by the interest she took in the mare on her own. If she hadn't collasped, Madoka would have probably just wandered off. "Who do you want to get you?" She asked her curiously. hoping that it wasn't an offensive question.
Crush spun her head in a bit of a panic. "NO ONE." She turned quickly back to the trees. "Not them... Not you..." She whispered again. "And not me.... Not anyone." She seemed weak under her previous first impression. A 360 as it were. Her mind was filled with static and she was lost in the storm.
Madoka blinked and looked out into the forest. Well... there were plenty of things really that could prove to be a threat... but... "What do you think is out there?" She wondered if maybe this mare was seeing things? "You think there's something out there, trying to get you?" That was probably the most logical question...
Crush shook her head but continued to stare into the woods. "There' everywhere. In there, out here, in your head, in mine. I.... I don't know how to get away. I'm... I'm scared of them. They're trying to get me." She seemed to look around for nothing now, turning her head to various places as if she had seen movement in her peripherals. The mare seemed to be harder and harder to understand as time went on. It was as if she needed saving, but from something that didn't exist. Saving by people she wouldn't let save her.
Madoka looked around a couple times... So this mare had been seeing things... Madoka wasn't to sure how to explain it, but the mare was flat out weird, and seemingly beyond help. "Well... I'm not to sure how much help i can be to you..." That was putting it lightly. Madoka didn't think she could help the mare at all, especially if it was something that she didn't understand herself.
Crush became more frightened at this prospect, as if she was about to be thrown to the dogs. She didn't know if she could trust this mare and yet she didn't want her to leave. Crush knew that every person in the past had always became one of them. One of those demons in her mind. This thought made her turn to Madoka. "S-So that's it. You're only here to trick me. To trap me until /they/ come. Y-you're one of them, aren't you. A m-monster. You demon." Crush began to rile up once more, starting to panic and dart her eyes around in her fit of fear and paranoia.
"hey hey... I don't go around accusing you of being something you're not." She huffed at the mare. If you want to leave you can. I'm not keeping you here... I only stayed because I was worried about you. " She shook her head. The mare was getting upset again like before. There was a good chance, that she might black out again. That wouldn't be any good. "I can leave with you, if you want… but you shouldn't accuse others. Especially since I have no idea who 'they' are."
"D-don't you play your tricks on me. You're just being like all the others. All the others who left me to the monsters in my head. Y-you're no different than the others who didn't care." Crush began to back away, her voice cracking under her fear. "Just like them." Crush inched towards the woods, apparently worried more about what this mare might do to her. "I-I wont let them get me."
"I'm really confused, monsters in your head? You don't want them to get you? " She questioned if it was the monsters in her head, she didn't want to get her... "And I wouldn't just leave you... but you're not making it easy to stay here either." She sighed a little. Maybe this was becoming to much work for her to take on... To many decisions.
"Don't act like you don't know." Crush sounded unsure. It was as if this mare really didn't know what she was talking about, but how couldn't she. She was one of them.... right? Crush was confused and she was beginning to become frustrated. Why was it always so hard. She didn't know what to do with herself.
"But I don't know. I don't see anyone.. I feel no threat. " She sighed again and looked over at her. "If you want to explain, I'm willing to listen." She smiled some. She was growing more and more cautious of the mare in front of her... one wrong move and she could put herself in some real danger.
Crush shook her head. She'd fallen for that once before, and knew it only made things worse. "N-no. I...I can't talk about it. They'll know... They always do. I-it's not safe." She had baced herself into a tree and spun her head quickly to look, afraid it may have been something dangerous. "It's never safe..."
Madoka let out a sigh. This was becoming a... pointless task. The mare wouldn't even tell her what was going. She couldn't help if she didn't really know what was going on. "Well I guess if you're not able to tell me whats happening then theres no reason for me to be here... I don't know if I can help you. But for someone I just met, you're taking alot of energy."
Crush stared helplessly at the mare, after a moment a furious and scared look on her face. "FINE. L-LEAVE. I DON'T NEED YOU A-ANYWAYS." She backed herself away into the woods, unsure if she should run or not. This mare confused her even more than she already was, and it was a terrifying notion to her.
"You are the most difficult mare I have ever met! I mean look at you. You have no idea whats even going on. You won't tell me, So I can't even try and help you, which yes i was offering you help. You tell me you don't want to be alone, and now your telling me to leave?" She huffed it all out,. Surprised by her own outburst. "I don't know what you were expecting of me, but I tried! You're weird!"
"I-I KNEW IT. YOU'RE J-JUST LIKE THE OTHERS." Crush seemed in a panic now, clearly distraught. "NO DIFFERENT. Y-YOU'RE ALL OUT TO LEAVE ME TO THE DEMONS. N-no help..." In a clear panic, Crush turned and sped off into the woods. In her state it was almost sure she would run into danger or hurt herself, but she didn't seem to care or notice.
Madoka huffed and watched as the mare ran off. She was more likely to cause harm to herself, rather then anyone else right now... Madoka trotted after her, she wasn't able to run at full speed becasue of Ritalin’s kick to her leg. She still felt some pain. "Heeey, come back. You keep assuming I'm going to just leave!" Her trot slowed down as the pain in her leg seared upwards. "I'll never catch her at this rate..." She sighed and looked around. She couldn't even see a trace of her...
