Matariki wandered aimlessly. He had managed to slip away from his mother and other siblings ages ago. Now he was just bored.... who could he torment...

Aria was walking around, fluttering her wings on her back. A branch had hit one of them in a storm and it was a little tender. She sighed softly as she walked, missing the feel of the wind dancing around her hooves.

Aria heard the singing and veered towards it. It did not take her long at all to pick up on the lyrics and before she came into sight, her voice joined his. She sounded as though she was accompanied by a full orchestra, her voice was that of angels singing, or decadent devils, if that was more your bent.

Matariki blinked, startled by that. He glanced toward the source the sound, ceasing his own singing.

She stepped through the bushes and stopped singing as she saw him. Not a sudden stop, but a slow gradual tapering off. "Were you my honorable duet partner?" she asked in a lilting musical voice.
