The year is 201X. Its been years since there has been any serious competition in drifting. Everyone is now captivated by "drifting for scores" that has been popularized by events such as Formula Drift and the Drift Grand Prix. No one ever drives it to actually race anymore.
There are the rogues in the sport who do it in a not so legal way. They hit the mountain passes by night and race. Not for money or pink slips, but respect and the right to claim themselves or there team as the King Of The Mountain.

Forum Rules...not even going to post a list...you should know at this point. just keep it PG-13
Profile Skeleton Gaianame: Character name: Nickname(if applicable): Personality: Likes: Dislikes: Physical Description(picture not required): Vehicle: Driving Style(drift or grip):
Rules on cars: No exotics (unfair for everyone else) No trucks/SUVs (you will get owned) and only one classic musclecar is allowed. (might be able to do it) just keep it real. and street legal.
I don't want anyone to post anything about a 1997 honda civic that has a turbo charged, fuel injected, V8 with over 800 horsepower...It ain't happening
If your car gets wrecked...you either get a new one or wait for it to get repaired.
I don't want everyone in a nissan skyline either. first come first serve.
Other Notes: We not only need drivers. we need at least one copilot and other spectators/mechanics/friends/love interests.
Also the roleplay actually takes place in america. not japan. I wan't most of the cars to be J-style imports.
Yes, this will be a hard roleplay. But it could go well if there are any serious RP'ers out there. You might have to Wiki some things or PM me. I'm enough of a car nut to explain.

I'm Kasee A.K.A. Cash Case. And there's nothing I like more than riding my motorcycle down a vast empty street. Too bad I'm in a dirty-a** city where nobody drifts or races and riding my motorcycle is impossible... It wouldn't be illegal but I can't ride as fast as I want and would definitely get a fine...
I walked out of my building onto the dirty street and looked from my left to my right at the cars careening down the streets. Stopping at red lights, trying to get to appointments on time... I sighed and walked down the street to the corner store. Looking into the window I saw a bunch of snacks I would like, but I just crashed one of my bikes and couldn't afford extravagences. I sighed and leaned against the window.

Tonight was the big night. Lee drove to his home on the outskirts of the city as fast as he could. He had some last minute adjustments to make on the G5 before it was ready to go. The race was all the way to the bottom of the mountain. It was going to be a good race tonight.
The new tires bounced around in the back of the blue Ford Ranger. These tires were built specifically for drifting. They would not only help his performance but his style as well. As these things slid the smoke was colored. This was his secret weapon in the next race.

I was wandering down the street thinking where the hell are the races? I tripped over a sidewalk grating and felt my ankle twist. "Dammit." I walked back to my garage and decided to take my bike out. I put my bags in the back of the garage and jumped on the seat, running my hand down the leather. It wasn't my Yamaha...but.... I gunned the engine and backed out of my garage. "This is silly...I'm going to be arrested." But I kept riding, to the outskirts of town; a huge smile on my face as I put full force behind the engine. I kept going down the empty streets and enjoyed the freedom. The wind pushing my hair back under my helmet...Freedom.

That night. Lee could have heard these engines from a mile away. They were overly loud and noisy but that's what he liked about them. Lee arrived at the starting line. He looked over at his opponent. He drove a white Nissan Silvia S15. It was a nice JDM import. A man stood between the two cars. They both understood the rules. First down wins. Simple as that. The starter lowered his hand in the universal "GO" signal. Both cars took off. Engines were roaring. tires squealed around corners. He could hear the turbo's blowoff at every shift. The dials in frontof him glowed red. The needle rose up until it was pointing at the 80. The cars entered the turn simultaneously. The S15 up front. It was a close race. ((my car: opponents: ))

I was riding and enjoying myself at that. When I heard engines behind me. Are you serious, I thought. This couldn't be a racing circuit, these are the outskirts! I risked a glance behind me. <******** me... Cars were racing in my direction. I hope they have sense and would go around me. Either way I opened the throttle and went as fast as I could down that road. "Oh God I'm sorry for all I've done and I want to live!!!" I shouted at the street ahead of me. Any person would think it was funny seeing this...and in a way it was. But I want to live...really!

In races Lee was an opportunist. He would use any chance he got to take the lead. This motorcycle would be the perfect way to do it. Both cars were side by side coming into the turn. The bike was in the far outside lane. Lee dived for the inside putting his car nearly 90 degrees to the inside of the wall. The other car had two options. Get left in the dust or hit the chick in a motorcycle. He chose the former and backed off.
Veer looked at the wall looming in front of him. for a split second there was a one inch gap in between the wall and the car. to the rear the motorcycle was less than a foot away. Lee floored it. The back tires screeched. a cloud of red smoke came up immediately. He left the two in the dust buried behind clouds of smoke.

I sucked in a breath through my teeth. Once the car behind me veered off in another direction and the other one did the same I kept going to look for a safe spot to stop. Instead of stopping cleanly like I expected my motorcycle lost control on the side of the road and I fell off. I wasn't injured but the damn thing was on top of me. I put it simply like... "Oh it was an accident." But no because at this moment I could not feel my left leg... "Ooowww..." I moaned. And lay back with my arms splayed above me; there was nothing I could do so I sat there and waited. I couldn't reach my cellphone and knew that I'd ******** up.

The other car broke out behind Lee flying out if the smoke. Lee was attempting to slam the gas through the floor of the car. the next two turns were mid-speed turns. he would pull off a flick-drift into these. The final turn was where he would always win the race. every driver he knew was forced to pull an e-brake slide here. He would Kansei right into it.
((Terms: Flick-drift- let off the gas and turn the opposite direction of the turn by a few degrees. then quickly turn in and floor it causing the car to drift e-brake/handbrake slide- pulling the handbrake up momentarily to break grip on the back tires. then floor it and counter-steer Kansei- Enter into a hairpin turn at maximum speed. merely letting off the gas disrupts the tires enough to drift. Usually done on a downhill hairpin))

I attempted to pry the motorcycle of off my lower body. I grunted loudly then coughed into the smoke that was swirling around me. I knew something was wrong with today, the smog foretold it.

Lee flew through the corner. His car was nearly 90 degrees with the inside of the turn. The tires regained traction on the other side of the turn. The car took off. It was race over. He had won. Just $1000. enough to last him until the next race and get some new tires. he had one week to prep for his next race. He had discussed this with someone before this race. there was an interesting trick to next weeks.
