So yeah My husband is currently in the Army about to ETS, Long story short he was planning on staying in till retirement but the Army ******** him and me over pretty bad. So Once he gets out Im planning on joining the Air force to keep us supported, I dont really trust the civilian Job market right now. But yeah, please be honest does the Air force suck as bad as the Army?
what should I expect?

First off, I'm sorry to hear about your experiences with the Army- my brother has been deployed 3 times, and he's only 22! Bleh, bastards....
Anyway, here are a few things about the Air Force that might help you make your decision ^_^
1. Whatever job you do in the Air Force, you get automatic certification. Say you go into the Air Force and you're fit to serve in air traffic control or something like that, and you stay in that job for awhile. After you get OUT of the Air Force, you'd have a degree in that field, which is kick-a**! 4laugh
2. If you end up being deployed and you aren't a pilot, basically you just run maintenance on the base and run guard details. Not as exciting, but hey- beats getting shot in the butt xp
3. The Air Force has the lowest casualty rate of any branch. 'Nuff said. 3nodding
I hope you and your hubby get through this alright, and I hope I helped at least a little. If you'd like, just try to find Air Force recruiting offices near you-they can give you more intel. Good luck!
