Breaking it into shapes is important. As a moogle lover, I'll help you.

1. Draw a circle.
2. Draw a circle under the circle.
3. Draw a circle at an angle to the top circle.
4. Draw a curvy line from the top circle to the circle at an angle to aforementioned circle.
5. Put triangles on the head and body.
6. Add facial details and wings.
TBH the wings are hardest for a beginner IMO. Looking at actual animal wings, like bats, should help you get them to look nice. Every other moogle part is a line, circle, oval, or triangle.
