Hello, everybody at NHG. I've moved the discussion of queens to this thread because the previous thread got off topis and may having been a little confusing.

What we are doing is looking for several queens to lead the City Chel'el'Sussoloth. No, you don''t have to be drow. This is for all females of NHG to participate in!

Why are we doing this? Chel'el'Sussoloth is a matriarchal society; meaning it is lead by women. So below is a form you can fill out if you would like to be a candidate for a queen. We'll will be electing 4 queens in all, one incharge of each clan. There will be one queen, however, that is the queen of the ruling clan; making her the queen of Chel'el'Sussoloth. Dark Elf/Drow queens are known as Ilharess. Would you like to be a Ilharess? C:

Lord Velakar

Please anwser these questions:

1.Tell me what clan you chose to be the clan leader in?
2.Why did you choose that clan.
3.What are your morals?
4.Fill out this oath:

"I insert your username promise to honor the clan i have chosen. I will not make decision that will alteror change the clans culture. I do know that the clan i chosse will be examined, if this oath is voided my title will be taken from me and I will be replaced."

Don't know which clan you would like to be in? Here is a quick summary of the clans found in Chel'el'Sussoloth. There are more to the clans, but you can find them in the Chel'el'Sussoloth area of NHG:

Clan:Vel'Sharen

The Sharen believe in the superiority of their bloodlines. Every Sharen is of noble blood, and the Sharen are loath to associate with commoners - this is one of the causes of the strain between the Sharen and the Sarghress. The Sharen have ruled Chel'el'Sussoloth for close to a millennium. They pride themselves on excelling in everything they can, to better show off the strength of their blood.

Clan:Val'Kyorl'solenurn

The Kyorl'solenurn believe in purity. Mainly, the purity of the drow race. They disapprove of halfbreeds, but do not kill them on sight. Tainting is something the clan looks down upon with extreme predjudice. They will kill any tainted person they can get their hands on. People who associate with tainted, and people who are not opposed to the idea of tainting, are called corrupted, and the Kyorl'solenurn seek to purify them, by putting them through a process they call the "cleansing", which closely resembles brainwashing. The clan also disapproves of the Jaal'darya creations, and will destroy them on sight.

Clan:Val'Sarghress

The Sarghress believe in strength and martial prowess, although strength does not necessarily refer to physical strength. What today constitutes the mighty Sarghress clan was once split into a multitude of mercenary companies, who were spread out across the world. These companies were united by Quain'tana, who then forced her way into the highest circles, becoming the Ilharess of a clan, making all these ruffians and commoners (in the eyes of the other clans) who had been mercenaries for the best parts of their lives, into nobles. It has been suggested that they had the support of the Sullisin'rune clan, yet the huge army under Quain'tana's command was an effective deterrent as well, making the other Val clans reluctant to oppose the Sarghress ascendance into clan status. In fact the army was second only to that of the Sharen clan.

Clan:Vel'Vloz'ress

The Vel’Vloz’ress clan can trace its roots to a low-key band of peaceful demon worshippers lead by Ven’nedia. Persecuted and disregarded by the majority of drow civilization for their beliefs, the group carried on quietly with their research and preparation on the edges of the treacherous Rift.
The new clan thrived with the addition of numerous mercenaries, demon worshippers, and others sharing the beliefs of Sene’kha. Two years after the Nidraa’chal war, the Vloz’ress further cemented their position within Chel’el’Sussoloth by forming a public alliance with the Vel’Sharen. Under the banner of Kharla’ggen, they are a prominent force in Chel’el’Sussoloth.
