I would hate the idea of having a microchip in my body. Since most buisnesses like to cut corners, they could end up really unsafe. :/

Every time I consider joining a military organization, police force, or government affiliated entity for the money or the propensity for infiltration / insider information, I remember that in order to do so I'd have to take on some form of RFID item. Once that realization comes on I say "******** that s**t." mentally and some times out loud. This is also holding me back from procuring a "passport" for myself.

I saw something on the news the other day (last month or so) about a pill with a microchip in it so the doctors can scan you to see if you've been taking your poison medicine. Pretty messed up o.o

It's funny how they always try and sugar coat it by saying "We just want to keep the kids safe lolz". They're basically just feeding off people's fear. Personally, I'd find it creepy as hell to have a microchip inplanted in me. Just the thought of knowing that someone I dont know knew where I was and everything is just...ugh. Dx

My main aversion to implanted micro chips comes from the idea of having a foreign object placed in my body that I would have no control over.
Although I wonder, if in the event this became mandatory, if they would take the time to effectively shield these chips from strong electric and magnetic fields... ninja

Tinfoil wallet. Blocks the signals. Good to have because sometimes RFIDs are unavoidable. We have them in our bus cards here in Boston.

reigndrop93 NEVER!!! sad I hope that they won't become manditory. I wouldn't know what to do. They are voluntary right now but I think eventually they will be required of all US citizens. Of course we can only hope for the best. I would never take one! I don't care how cool people say they think they are or what the elite say. Also, you know how you microchip your pets incase they get lost? I've heard stories of pets getting cancer years later where the microchip was implanted. Before I knew this we had all of our pets microchipped. I will NEVER microchip a pet again!!
