A few things in creating characters. Semblance's events are starting in September of 2009 on Earth, this means all characters are human, or humans that have been affected by a spell. There is a bit of a fantasy theme going due to the nature of the town. It has been mentioned that Semblance is the City of Origins, and many elements are based off of songs, movies, fairy tales and the like. Also, Semblance is very hard to get to as mentioned in the description of the area.
