Personality: A bit of a loner, Dylan is easily misunderstood. However, he likes to use that misunderstanding to his advantage, keeping others away from him. He wasn't always like this. Of his old personality, what he still retains is his kind and protective nature towards others, only now it really is only towards others who manage to become a splinter in his heart that he can't remove.
History: Dylan grew up in a normal family with parents and siblings. They were all very supportive of him and though shocked at him being bi, they didn't ridicule or kick him out. He could have stayed and grown up to be a normal person, but, for some reason he left and came to the Academy. Even to this day, he himself has no clue what force made him go to the place. While at the Academy, he was your typical student. If you call being bi, with no one knowing of course, and being stalked by other females normal.
At the age of 19, Dylan was selected as a candidate to go to the caves. On the day the recruits actually went, he had already turned 20. His birthday was just the day before and he had been picked out before then. When he was chosen by a white and red wolf, it utterly shocked him and made him happy at the same time. Peppermint, as he named the wolf, and him were headed for White Shadow as her parents originally came from there. His Patron was Derek Quinn, someone who Dylan easily found himself liking. It was probably because the man separated himself from the rest of the fort mostly.
After a few years, Dylan became one of the Sergeants under the former White Shadow Captain. The other Sergeant was Isabel Morrison. Being the cute and kind guy he was, he fell in love with the female. Lucky for him, she returned his love. She also accepted the fact that he was bi which made him fall even harder. Sadly, one day, Isabel and her bonded wolf both lost their lives thus leaving Dylan in an agonizing darkness which he didn't think he would leave. But, with the help of Peppermint, he was pulled out, only, as a different man.
One day he received a notice that he was transferring over to New Eve and would start back out as a Private again. With no complaints about it, he and Peppermint both left behind their old fort and headed over.

Appearance: Standing at only 15.7 hh, Peppermint takes on the smaller side. Despite being small, she is clearly able to exert her authority on others when needed. With less strength then most, her muscles are less obvious, hidden under a soft, silky, yet fluffy coat of fur. That coat of hers is mostly a pure snow white which lets her blend in the winter, yet makes her pop in darker areas. Over her body, face and the the top of her tail, Peppermint has cherry red markings, that seem more blood red when she is fighting or training. The toes of her paws are also that same cherry red. Her eyes are a bright flame red while her nose is soft strawberry red. Her ears are candy cane red with white spots.
Personality: Understanding but firm, Peppermint is known for seeing both sides of a situation first before judging. With a good head on her shoulders, she has a heart of a leader. She never uses force on others and is always ready to help those who are teased and bullied simply because she knows what it is like. However, at first she may come off as a slightly hard character to approach because she holds herself high and has a high self esteem. Peppermint is also the one who manages to break Dylan down and get him to be at least a bit more social.
History: Peppermint's mostly white fur is what made her stand out from her siblings. The rest of them varied in bright or dark colors. Being the one who stood out the most, she found herself being bullied the most but she never said anything so her parents never really did anything. But with time, she started to stand up the the others and eventually she became the one with the strongest heart. However, she still had to wait for the day she got to leave the cave. When the day that she got to bond came, it was the happiest time the entire time she was in the caves because she wouldn't be in the same place as her siblings all the time. It got even better when the one she bonded with was Dylan. He was incredibly kind to her and to the day, still is. Never once had she felt the want to leave the human's side. She spent her days as an adolescent learning from her mentor who she very much adored due to his playful nature. Everyday was a happy day for her and she was sure it was for her bonded.
Not to long after becoming an adult, she, surprisingly, found herself a rank higher and in the Beta spot. After finding herself as a White Shadow Beta, was when she started to really get to know Nightfall. He was older and scared her a bit at first, but she found herself falling for him. Without fully realizing what was happening Peppermint became the dark wolf's mate. One day however, he was killed in battle protecting Dylan when the human ran towards his lover's bloody body. Even now she still loves the dark wolf.
About a six or seven months later, Peppermint and Dylan were transferred over to New Eve. Without putting up a fight, she left. At the time, she simply wanted to heal a bit. Later on she learned that Alister Shield had become the new captain after the former on died. Twilight, his bonded, took over the spot of dominant Alpha. The way she saw it, it was probably because Alister and Calla, the new lieutenant were matched and it had to be decided by the wolves instead.
