Here's anewsletter that covers a few updates i'm planning


first: a topic governing Trade rules/regulations
--I simply cant make a topic on this, it's mainly because a trade is as simple as asking if the other has a pokemon you want and making an offer, i feel to add arule or regulation to this would defy our kindness levels
really all i can say as far as how you should do it is to be kind when asking and always thank the person, even if they didnt have what you wanted or need anything you could give them

next: Mainlands forum Cleanup
---plenty of topics while they fit under ageneral or pokemon orgaia genre lit the mainlands forum while they could aptly fit elsewhere, this does mean topics would be moving on massive scales, meaning no PM notifications would be sent, instead an announcement to each member in addition to one like this would be posted
----i only added the sub ofrums becuase most were already there when iobtained this guild and i felt it was wise to use them to full extent

finally: Our own league
---this is, as an all-guild-members thing soemthing we should we should vote on, but i do havea set-up in mind, however it would require waiting until the USA goes into Spring to start it up as thats when i'll be able to freely wifi again
---the idea is to have people battle me for gym-leader status(no more than 12), if you win or lose wont matter, but how you battle will, also you'd needa 'theme' say, Mineral(rock, steel, ground) or crystal(ice, rock) or a signature move (shadow claw, etc...) and this would be the backing of your leader battle strategem
((for sig move style leaders, you may lose more often, thats okay, i wont demote you from leader, afte all, your gym, but you dont always have to use that one move))

all in all the league is what i'd like to cover first,
basically once you're a gym leader, the gym is up to you, underlings or no underlings, badge name, etc... but whether the elader wins or loses, you'd have to report it to me
As for Elite Four stuff, not sure yet, and thsu certainly uncertain about champion.
also, you may start your own league inside the guild, but this would merely be our guild-based league

Electric is good, and really we can have more than one gym of the same type as long as we dont go all that type

((ie 2 or three elec four water, etc...))

thing is it'd only kick off in the spring, which is when, weather permitting i'll be able to walk to my local wifi hotspot twice a week at max

and as a plus HG/SS would be out by then, giving us all new ground to walk on

now here's the cool thing: you're gym leadership exam doenst determing if yo uget leaderhsip, but rather determines your gym's ranks

(ie: Roxanne, Brock and so on are rank1, Gardenia, Misty etc...are rank2) and there is 12 ranks, with 12 being the hardest

the exam i'm hoping to make it to where you would have at least a medium-rank time against me, and i'll be watching to see y'alls battle knowledge, which will be the exam part
all in all: win or lose you still get your gym, it's just your rank that'll be determined by the exam

your gym can be any type, or based on any move, you may have trainers under you or not, and as this isafan-gym, it's obvious there're no traps/puzzles, and as leader you cant refuse the challenger

Oh man, I don't really have a favorite type. I never thought about being a Gym Leader. Is it possible to be a "Normal" Gym leader? These are a cool idea.

I'd say one legendary per team

also level cap, well, that's soemthing i was gonna factor into the exam but now i think on it, that wouldnt be smart...

i've never really liked using pokemon until they are level 100 myself, so i suppose i could say there is no cap as my wifi team will be all lv 100s, however i can install a Leader-count cap

what a leader-count cap is, is like how Brock always used 2 pokemon ,Geodude and Onyx, his Leader-count Cap was 2 pokemon, versus a challenger having from 1 to 6 pokemon
this said i can install this cap and leave out a level cap

of course that means you'd have to have less than 6 pokemon if your exam places you under Rank10 (meaning gyms 10, 11 and 12 would be our toughest gyms ever, which is kinda my hope)

i'll put together a rules age by wednesdays okay, thats when i'll post it and let you guys revise it

okay i'd say it should go like that, yes but based more on ranks like 1-6 would be lv50 or free-lv and rnakds 7-12 would be lv100 or free level

how's that sound? that way each gym can determine if they want to be free level or a set level but that way not every gym chooses the same

or you could do free level...
that would allow any level of pokemon and sometimes give you the edge, sometimes give the foe the edge

it's just a reminder lol

it doesnt have to be your fave type, it could even be your fave move, just some kind of theme

and yes, Normal Type gyms are possibly, just look at Norman and Whitney

Norman, May's father, uses all normal types, Whitney, also using all normall types has one catch: Rollout it's her sig move making her gym Normal-typed but actually have a ton of punch to it
