As his age progressed, Khalin became more and more fascinated with the screams and groans of humans, and the feel of their tearing flesh. Although this sick motivation moved him forward, Khalin's diverse and unbreakable honor as an elder and pure blood kept him from making rash, punishable offenses.
Upon the time for Khalin to rule over the Sheliathe bloodline for two centuries, the kingdom was destroyed and burned to the ground by a group of elite vampire hunters. Nearly escaping with his life, Khalin began to travel the world, taking unwanted slaves from markets, and using them to rebuild his massive wealth.
to this day, Khalin Rheine is one of the most well known slave holders on the planet, and holds a throne in almost any market he visits. His wealth has rebuilt itself to almost astonishing heights, and he is quite pleased with it.
