If you want to believe the old people there, one day a very popular king lived in those woods whose old name is long forgotten and are now known as the Dark Woods. Rumors say that this king made a pact with evil powers to reign forever. However the Dark Woods are eerie - full of wild animals and impervious brushwood. Many hunters and lumberjacks who went too deep into the woods never came back. It is said the old king took them so they serve him for eternity...

*walks trough the woods with seth, checks compass again* im sure its this way, i mean if i was a king of some civilisation i would build my city in the middle of the woods

Seth followed him looking around "Why would anyone want to build a city in the middle of the woods in the first place?" she asked making a face as she almost tripped over a tree root.

people are stupid especialy kings, then again maybe there wasnt a forest here when the city was built *stops and takes a sharp left turn* this way

me? no i dont know the compass and the sharp turns are to confuse people following us, if there are any witch i doubt *turns to the right and keeps going straight* but they say all paths lead to rome so a few of em ought to go through this city, right?

"Oh...that seems like a simple answer." Seth followed "But I thought everyone thought this place was haunted, so no one would really want to come through here would they? So why would there be a path to Rome here?"

Seth looked over at the trap before answering "I've heard that saying, I just don't understand it...Of course I never understand these sayings. Like 'all that glitters is not gold' I mean, obviously, diamonds glitter, and silver glitters. Or 'As long as you live, keep learning how to live' because you must know how to live or you wouldn't be here today..." she paused "Unless your a Swellviller...or some other softie"

speaking of shiny things i once found this crystal that glittered in the sunlight and if it got to hot it would explode, we used to put it in peoples armor, funny as hell *looks up towards the canopy* were close, and i have no idea what either of the sayings mean but i carnt stand the silence 'specialy in these woods

Seth grinned "I know plenty of sayings like that. Kenda and Barley thought they could raise me on those things. I guess they thought it would make me a virtuous person. And if not, it's been pretty funny." she paused, noticing the uncanny silence as well. "How do you know we're close?"

im still going with the city in the middle theory, and the canopys thicker than it was before *stops for a second, listening to the forest and continues* by the way, have you got anything to defend yourself?

Seth nodded. "Two. I got a nice dagger that I stole from a Swellviller, and a blade and bracer that apparently use to belong to my dad." she gave a small smile "And I know how to use both of them"

good, thats good *checks the compass* just so you know if it comes to fighting, ive only got enough peppers for two rounds so i probaly wont be on the offensive, watch out here *jumps over another trap and continues walking*
