 This is the place where Tsume has his own private thoughts, and where he comes to be alone. Sometimes he has company too, rarely though.

Shaoilin Woods concept and art belong to Jade Eye and Reivan. Do not take either one. Tsume has a very broody and almost completely stand-offish personality. He likes his privacy and is very much a loner, even if he is in a pack. With all this he is a difficult wolf to get to know. He is not the type to tollerate weakness or whining, and anyone who does not at least try to be his equal might just be ignored. Besides all his character flaws, he is still extremely loyal to those he calls his friends. He does not mind being under a leader as long as said leader or alpha makes the right desisions. Of course right to Tsume and right to other wolves might differ a great deal.

 TaliaTsume happened to meet this she-wolf and mate by a freak chance on one of his trips to the freelands. Her fisty yet easy-going personality drew the loner in and before he knew it he was hooked. Talia represents the perfect mate that Tsume needed, independant and able to stand up to him and any other wolf that could cause her grief. With her around Tsume also found a very territorial and jealous side in him that he hadn't known existed. For her he is willing to leave his pack and pretty much go to the end of the world with her. Talia is my mate and if you have a problem with that you have to face me. Got it?Higecoming soon Lokicoming soon

This was one of those rare times that Suzaku found time to herself, roaming around the woods, she'd left Helaku sleeping again, though she wouldn't ever stray far. She needed to be able to hear if trouble started, or if he awoke and called for her.
She stood at the stream's side, staring in at her reflection and thinking about her bloodbrothers. Was she going to see them again soon? Maybe if she tried calling them again...
A few minutes later, a long, higher pitched young howl pierced the air.

Tsume wound his way between the trees, not going anywhere in particular. He had left Hige's territory, and his newly dug den to get a bit of space from the pack. Yes he was one of them, and yes he had chosen to be, but after such a long time alone having other wolves around could be... difficult.
His little trips every now and then kept his mood aimable, and he didn't think Hige minded too much. And even if he did, Tsume was not yet putting too much value to the feelings of others.
As it were he had just had a light meal (Squirrles couldn't be concidered anything but that) and was currently wandering a bit aimlessly. Until he heard the howl that was. It was a bit faint, and probably not all that important. But they were still realitivly close to the pack territory and Tsume felt obligated to see what was going on.
Taking off in a sprint he headed for the direction of the call. It didn't take him long and he broke through the bushes near a stream. His ears allert he looked around, only to see a pup? Tsume blinked and looked at the little one. Had she been the one howling?
((Sorry if it sounds rushed... people seem to actually make me work at work today scream ))

((The nerve! xd *sorry, feeling spazztaastic* Heck, I forgot about our Yahoo group, let's just continue the vampire-RP there. XD))
Suzaku whimpered softly and slid down to the ground on her stomach as her howl faded to nothing. Though she kept her ears alert there were no return calls, meaning her brothers weren't anywhere around.
((Though, the pack territory is 6 days travel from the heart of the general territory, if walking, in the snow. Tsume could get there, but it'd be no where near the pack lands, ;-; *almost wishing it weren't so far away* Where Suzaku and Helaku are right now, we'll say... the southern edge/border of the freelands. That's about 4 or 5 days travel from the edge of the freelands. More plausible.))
Her attention diverted quickly as someone came through the under brush, her little cranium whipping around to face the newcomer, ears flat. Was this his territory or was he just answering her call? The scar on his chest made him look a little intimidating, so she opted to take a hesitant, submissive pose for now. She couldn't hope to fight back if she offended him, so she better be careful.
She could smell other wolves on him, also, he must be part of a pack, which meant they could be too close to pack territory, though none of his scents matched the ones she smelt...

Tsume took in the pups scent while she remained cautious of him. So she was a smart one. That was good. But why was she out here all by herself. And why did he really care, she wasn't part of his pack.
Yet he felt compelled to ask. "Who are you?" His voice sounded gruff as usual, and so he tried to appear less threatening by sitting down. He didn't mean her harm and he wanted her to know that.

She still sounded young, but there was an underlying calm to her tone as well. She'd continue to observe the grayed wolf curiously, taking a little comfort as he sat down and beginning her approach, only to sit a yard away for a better look.
He had a curious scar on his chest, now how had he gotten that? Suza's eyes met his face again calmly.

It was far before dawn that Tsume found himself in front of Talia's den, thinking. It had been easy to tell Talia that he was going to leave the pack, but to be honest he didn't know how Hige or Loki would react. The alphas did not seem to be the spitefull type, but then again with some wolves it was hard to tell. Not that he was worried because of himself. He knew he could hold his own ground. He was simply worried about Talia.
He knew she was a strong female. But she was entering pack territory...
But Tsume knew he couldn't push it off any longer now. He had to tell the two alphas that he was going to leave.

As Talia lay there on her side staring at the roof of the den her thoughts wandered.
~What would father think if he could see us now? Making our own decisions without his approval, joining a newly forming pack, meeting mates and moving on... being happy and having the freedom to be so any way we want? Free from his control--!~
A soft whine sounded from within the female's den. Talia had been awake most of the night next to Tsume, thinking while the male slept on. What were Tsume's alphas like? Were other alphas anything like her father? Was it just an old-timer thing? She couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement at the prospect of meeting his pack, his alphas. What would they say, and would they approve of his decision or would things be left in just a sour a state as when she left her own family?
Likewise, the idea of traveling in another's company, just the two of them... She'd come here alone, never left her pack lands before that-- this would only be the second time she traveled any far distance. --And just think: Tsume wanted to join their pack, wanted to stay around because of her! After all the horrible things her father implied finally someone would proove him wrong. There were things worth leaving her family's pack for.
As it was, Tsume's usual departure is what shifted her towards waking, though this time it only took a few minutes. First her eyes were visible in the pre-dawn dark. She watched his figure come into focus out of the dark of the sleeping forest. Everything was still silent, as if the entire forest was blanketed with sleep. It did manage to send a small chill through her chest, there was something intimate about the quiet of the wee hours of night when the moon was starting to bid it's farewell for sleep. They were probably the only ones in this area that were even awake.
"Have you been up long?" She asked before slowly emerging from underground.

Tsume shifted to be able to see Talia as she emerged from the entrance to the den. Even this early in the day she was as graceful as any other time he noted, and then almost chiding himself for sounding likr a lovestruck pup. But to him it was the truth.
"Not long yet. Did I wake you?"
He rubbed his muzzle briefly against her in a soft greeting. "I think we should head out early and take a break when the day gets hot."
As he spoke the first rush of excitement tingled along his spine. While not too sure about their destination, he was looking forward to the trip to the south. Him and Talia together for five or so days. Hunting together and simply running, paradise for a wolf.

She settled down next to Tsume contently, feeling peaceful, though excited about the upcoming trip.
Her tongue combed gently over his muzzle as it came into contact with her.
"I couldn't really sleep, anyhow." She reassured quietly before standing again to brush against his side affectionately. "That sounds fine by me, do you want to leave now?"

Tsume nipped her ear gently and nodded. "The earlier we head out the further we get."
He got up and stretched lengthily, shaking off the last remnants of sleep. "Do you want to tell your brother that you are leaving?"
It sounded a bit more sarcastic than he had meant it to. He thought she might want to so that Kouji wouldn't worry about her, but the males attitude from last time was still on Tsume's mind. Maybe her disappearing for a few days would help the other male to get over his overprotective streak.
