Chaonaine moan in pain. It felt like she had hit her head on a rock. It wasn't often that Chao woke up feeling like this. She fully open her eyes, almost forgetting what had happen last night.
She turn around to see a lion sleeping next to her. Vol was his name, his black coat raise then fell again. She knew he was fully asleep and she was not going to bother him. It was him, who told her to fall asleep last night, he who made her head hurt so much and he who she would spend the rest of her life with. Chao laugh and wonder how she got in such a mess. She sigh, once she remember. She was weak and hungry. Luckily for her, she had got a nice lion who didn't want to kill her but just live the rest of his life with.
She laugh once more, wondering what was going on in his head. Was it his plain from the start, after she growl at him to take her to live with. To think of it, he didn't even know her name. What a silly lion he was. She sigh and rub her head. She lay back down, and curl herself up next to him, waiting for him to wake up.

 Vol slowly stirred with each and every laugh the female made. She was obviously finding something very comical, but what that was, he wasn’t sure. That made him mad, not knowing what she was laughing at, but he wasn’t going to lash out. Not now. He needed to ease her into the situation she is in now. Ease her into the culture she would forever have to abide to. Pulling himself up off the ground he turned to look at her. “You haven’t lost your mind with hunger have you?” He looked her over before smiling. He was teasing her of course, but he wanted to see her mad at him. There was just something alluring to making a female upset. Something primal that struck a chord in his heart. Rolling his shoulders a soft crack was heard along with a moan of pleasure. The knot had been working on his nerves for awhile, but now was gone. “We will hunt soon, but first… “ His dark red eyes looked her over. “Your name.”

Chao watch as the male lion get up and she eyed him. She was not going to keep her eyes off of him. Knowing him, he would try to do something silly. She quickly got up and lightly smile at him. It seem that her laughter must have woke him up. She smiled and said“Well hello there sleepy head”.
She got up and look at the sleep in his eye and went over to clean it off. She huff as he spoke and gave him a angry frown. It seem that Vol just like to see her mad because it always seem to work. She knew he was only teasing but Chao hated to be tease, about something like that. “No. No I did not.” she said with a stern tone and face.
She would have swipe at his face at him for saying that if it wasn't the thought that she knew he would have got really upset. She set back from him and gave him another frown to show him that she was very displease with what he had just said. Chao laugh. It was about time he ask for her name. She smiled and happily answer, “My name is Chaonaine. The name you better not forget. And know I guess we can go hunt for food.”

A small smirk soon turned into a wide grin. She was certainly a good pick for him. Cocky as hell but so very amusing. Not to mention the fact that she seemed ok with cleaning him of his sleep. He really had found a good banu for himself, maybe even a beybanu. Watching her frown he couldn’t help but start laughing. “You will get wrinkles if you continue to act like that.”
With that he lifted into a standing position, having enough with the fairly cool ground. She still seemed upset with him for teasing her, but he didn’t really care. He knew he would make up for it soon. If there was something he was great at it was hunting. Living as a rogue had proved to be a beautiful thing, but living in the pride, that was a gift soon to be given to him.
“I guess we shall then Choa.” He already decided to give her a nickname. She was his first after all, why not treat her special for that. With a sparkle in his eye he licked her softly before passing her. Eyes staring towards the grasslands and the zebra that grazed upon it.
“Rather stupid beasts... coming so close to us. Come my Choa, let us eat.”

Chao smiled as vol show his white gleaming teeth. It was something about hid aura that Chao like the best about him. He always seem to tease her but the wonderful smile seem to cheer her up awfully too well. Chao had her a good male, someone she knew that would love her for her. She smile even more thinking about this. She laugh a little bit. She knew that saying too well. She laugh. “Well I better stop because you wouldn't like to see wrinkles on me,” she said with a smirk.
Chao watch as he got up and it was really the first time she got to see his full body. It was well shape and it look like he could hunt for hours and still wouldn't be tried. Chao blush. She had to stop doing that. She couldn't just look at his body and wonder how it would feel to snuggle up next to him. But she know that when she did it would be the warmest body she would ever touch.
Chao nodded ans stood up. She was excited to see the male in action. She hope he was good at hunting because she herself was not. Chao eyes grew wide and her face turn a bright red. He had licked her. It was soft and warm feeling and she love everything about it. She was a bit startled and she spoke “Ye-e. Du-dumb beast.”
She walk behind him waiting for his first move.

A wide grin played on Vols face at the stammering Choa. She really was amusing and more than likely would always be amusing to him. This certainly would be a great relationship... though he would need to find another. Someone who could hunt well, he couldn't be hunting all the time now, he had many other things to be doing as well. Though, for right now, he was alright with just her. His first.
"Oops, did I catch your tongue?" He smirked at her, before moving forward towards the beasts. He would catch he a big one. His present for yesterday and for being his. Yes. Then later... maybe a nice stone fastened into something pretty, or a flower... She was beautiful like one after all.
Pulling his body along he lowered himself, stalking the scent of the zebra. They would be easy, so long as she kept quite. Which, he was hoping she would be. Chasing was easy, when you were close.
"Stay quiet. I will get a big one for you.. as a gift."

Chaonaine knew right after she spoke those words that she was going to get tease. It wasn't like she stutter over word all the time it was just that he had caught her off guard. If she knew that he was going to lick her then she would have been ready and would have took it without even being shock, but how he just came over and lick her was shocking to her.
She huff at his words but just lightly because she didn't want the zebras to hear her. She quietly move closer to him for she wouldn't mess up what he was doing. Chao knew that she was not a great hunter and she was happy that Vol was doing all the work. She blush as he told her, that he would bring her one that was big for a gift. She stay quoet and waited to see Vol pounce.

Lowering himself to the ground, Vol watched the Zebra dot the lands, grazing peacefully, unaware of the danger that was so very close to them. He had spotted his prey a little bit ago, a large zebra with a big belly, he seemed to be a leader to him, but all leaders must fall at some point in time. Looking to Choa once again he nodded, hoping she would stay where she was. Otherwise, it would be chaos for him.
Turning back towards his prey he grinned, pulled every muscle tight and let go. Dashing out towards the zebra with little warning at all. He would pull him down, and they would feast. Then, finally when their belly's were full, he would bring her to the pride where they would hopefully reside for the rest of their lives.
----
Thankfully the zebra was unaware of the prey that was stalking him and as the big male attacked, could only get one solid kick in before going down. Yes, all leaders must come down at some point, just as this one had. Red eyes darted towards Choa, telling her to come to him. His powerful jaw clamping hard on the windpipe of the zebra, killing him quickly.

Chao watch the fattest zebra, knowing that Vol was going for that one. She knew that he was the leader because he was the biggest of the all. She watch carefully, not making any noise. She didn't want to scare them away. Vol would get mad at her if she would do that, and plus she wouldn't have anything to eat.
She, herself was a horrible hunter, and she was not going to mess this up. She watch in amazement as Vol pounce the Zebra with such grace and with only little struggle with the zebra. She walk over to Vol and gave him a little nuzzle before waiting for him to drop it for she could eat.

Dropping the zebra lightly to the ground Vol took a step back, surprised with how easy the beast had gone down. He had been hoping to take it down with a slight fight, showing off his manliness along with his expert skills in hunting. All the same, he was sure he had made quiet the impression on his beybanu as she nuzzled into him waiting to eat.
"Eat as much as you wish. I will pick at it when you are done." Backing away from the animal he watched her, waiting for her to eat, eager to tell her about the pride he would be taking them both to.
It could wait though, he figured she wouldn't exactly be in the mood to listen to him babble on about a pride with her mouth full of Zebra. A smirk slowly coiled onto his maw at the thought of her staring him down while having a face full of blood and meat.
"I must speak to you about a pride when you are done, but please.. take your time. Enjoy the meal I have gotten for you."

Chao smile as he drop the dead Zebra to the grown. She did want to be rude but she was very rude. After, almost eating nothing for the pass 24 hours, it was hard not to look at the zebra in pure delight. She gently gave a light purr as she walk up t the zebra and bit off a small bite. She smile and nodded Vol to come over to eat with her. She would not have him eating after her, after all he did catch this delight.
Chao almost jump back at the sound of "pride" coming out of his mouth. She had totally forgot that she had agree to go with him to a pride. She wonder if they would accept her. She had live her whole life in the rouge lands, how would the animals of that land like her and how would she get use to it. She gave and weak smile and took another bite turning her head the other way from him. "How about you tell me about the pride over the meal" she said weakly.
She knew that she would feel a lot better hearing about her new pride when eating instead of hearing about it after when all she would want to snuggle with Vol and fall asleep.

At her nod to join him Vol simply shook his head. If he ate everyday he would soon become fat and lazy. How would he be any use for the pride and his family then? Frowning a little from the thought the large lion moved closer but did not step in to enjoy his kill.
"I would get fat and sloppy if I ate everyday you know." A sparkle in his eye showing a mischievous plan in the works. "Unless you would rather have a large blubbery man to be yours." White teeth suddenly flickered from under a dark maw, he couldn't help but laugh at his teasing.
The shocked look at the mention of the pride however caused Vol's rage to spark slightly, yet he swallowed it. She didn't try running away from him. Not yet anyway.
"I will then. We will be moving into the Ukuucha'Wafalme Lands. You will be my banu, no, my beybanu. My favorite lioness. You must respect any male that you cross paths with and be kind to any you meet. Though, catty attitudes are looked down upon I do believe you will be fine so long as you hold your tongue. I really don't wish you to be killed for being rude to the Sultan Aali or any of the visors."
He stopped, watching her, waiting for a reaction before deciding to continue, telling her the customs of the land and who to get there. Telling her that she will eventually have to share him with another female and care for the cubs of many, not just her own. He was through as well, making sure to answer any questions she needed.
"Now... shall we sleep the zebra off for a bit then leave for our final home Choa?"

Chao frown. She should have know that was coming. She was just worried that he was hungry. She huff and push out her cheek. "You know, I could have that. I mean you are rather now. Just image if you pick up a couple more." she said with a slight smirk.
She wasn't going to let him tease her that easily. She did ad after all and gave him a wet bloody kiss on his nose. She knew that he must have been mad at her for the reaction at the pride thing. She had to make it up to him. She gently nuzzle his cheek and smile, showing her affection to him. She sat quietly as he spoke. She became more and more outrage at every little detail that was told about this pride.
Why...why this pride. Of all prides why this one. Why did she have to fall to a male in this pride. She was going to get kill, or a lest hurt. Vol must have know that, or maybe he was thinking that he could teach. Yes that was it. She frown, this was going to be a hard hard long journey that she was being told about.
She was fine with all of this until he came to the mate part. No. She would not share him. No not at all. He didn't have to share her. She frown and pull away from his face. She was angry..no piss, very piss. She eyes were glowing and she was showing her anger to him. "Vol. Do you hate me? Why. Would you pick someone like me to go there. I want to be with in all, but this. The sharing of you. It will break my heart." she said with a weak voice
Yes she wanted to be with him and yes she would stay with him, but it would not be a happy walk to her new pride. She sigh and gave a weak smile. "I guess."she said still piss off.

Vol glared at Chao after her comment on his weight. He was a perfectly good weight! Yeah there may be smaller lions but could they take him on? He didn’t think so. “Mind your tongue.”
Watching the female slowly twist into a bungle of rage made Vol rather upset, he thought she would be ok with this. She would always be his number one, even when he found another Banu… so why was she seething? Furrowing his brows he decided to lightly lick her bloody face. That would hopefully calm her down some, interrupt the thoughts it her head.
“My dear Chao, I promise you even when I take another you are my first, and my most special. Please… “He let himself look weak, of course he wasn’t in any way but he had to get her to come with him. He needed her to be accepted in the pride and he needed her for other things. She was going to be a challenge, something he always enjoyed. “Just be kind to all, you may take your rage out of me later... in our den. Cry, laugh, rage, be as you want with me. Just act in line in others sight.” Vol went to lick her face once more.
“We must be going… I promise it won’t be as bad as it all sounds. I will ease you into everything.” A soft smile was on his face as he moved away from the dead zebra, waiting for her before making his way towards the pride lands.
