Well, I was walking around at route 224(Platinum) and then it appeared a shiny Gastrodon! I thought. I've only been playing Pokémon since May, and shiny or not, I din't new there was a evolution on the blue Gastrodon.... xD Fail.

Oooh that's cool.
You see, yesterday (I posted in the D/P forum because it was before this one was created) I captured a shiny Shellos! It was the blue western variety.
How neat that you would get a shiny Gastrodon right after. mrgreen
The only Shiny I've gotten in Platinum so far is that Oddish; I believe I will predestine it for Bellossom-land. All others are from other games. (Most valuable is my shiny Sceptile; love the color combo.)
