Basically since I've got the deviantart poll option I've been trying to think of ways to improve or get feedback.

As tight as I am for time, i do want to get better with my hobbies, so if you can help out by commenting that'd be neat wink

So Question 1: What should I have more of in my gallery - ie what kind of art should I do more of?

Question 2: Are my characters too Mary/Gary-Sue ish? Or cliched? some people seem to think so, so i'm trying to figure out how to get past that.

Question 3: Has anyone got any suggestions of how I can get mroe people to read my blog? I'm a newb when it comes to casual advertising lol

I kept meaning to answer this but I never had the time to sit down and think out my answers.

What should I have more of in my gallery - ie what kind of art should I do more of?
I always like seeing artists' original work.
Fanwork is nice but I watch someone who does a lot of fanart, South Park to be specific, and though they add their own style and feelings to it I find their original art much more enjoyable.
Fanart gets boring and I feel like you can see a lot more of the artist in original art.
(Kind of a broad answer but that really does apply to any artist for me xD)
If you meant a medium I like your traditional art. 3nodding

I wouldn't say so.
I could elaborate more if you were to give me a specific example of why people think so because right now I can't think of a "well they may be in that respect" scenario.

I honestly have no idea. xD
I don't update my blog often but even when I was updating I couldn't get many people to read it either.
Best idea I can think of, just for casually, would be link in your sig and update often.

Um...I love fanart. I like traditional characters but I love how you take mythical characters and make a design into them to look at. I think I worded that right. ^^"

Hm..maybe in your gaia signature or any forum signature include a mini pic and link to deviant art? I'm not sure either which is why my deviant art place has been dead for a very long time now. XD
