Has anyone noticed between summer and winter the reqions are sort of messed up? People getting snow when they usually don't in the winter time. The heat getting overbearing in the summer time. I dunno, just something I was thinking about during a shower.
..yes, I know that's odd. stare

Yep, definitely noticed it here in Europe. It's at a point where it's actually getting creepy.

Exactly. It could just be the poles shifting because of the planet's age..but I thought that was supposed to cause at least some sorts of catastrophic events.

It's actually a side effect of global warming. People don't quite understand that, they get that summers will continue to be getting hotter but they don't understand that it also means winters will be getting colder. And if it gets too bad it could trigger another ice age. The summer heat will melt the icecaps too much which will freshen the seawater in the north so the cool water won't sink where it usually does near England., Which would interrupt the flow of the Gulf stream which usually moderates the tempurature of the northern continents keeping it warmer. If that happens then the climate will get colder in the northern hemisphere.

Seconding with Saiyana. When air heats up, it moves ... which pushes other air around, including the cold masses at the poles.

Ok so I listened to the clip, what's the point? I took climatology. I know what I am talking about. and it's not the atmoshere I'm talking about it's the ocean currents and up and down flows in those currents. They even found that the Little Ice Age in the middle ages were cause by a sputter in those currents.
