 The day had started out pretty well for Chev. The sun had been shining despite the sharp frosty air and the glittering white snowdrifts, promising if not a warm day at least a comfortable one and Chev, pony that he was had decided to take advantage of the good weather and do a bit of exploring. He had not been long in the area and the pale colored beast was anxious to know the area better - perhaps if he was lucky he would even find someone to help, or a bit of adventure along the way.
Traveling had been fairly easy for the small Soquili over the last few days, although the snow had been deep and irksome before a recent freeze had made the top hard and and crunchy...and being so small it easily bore his weight in most area's. Thusly Cheveyo had started out his stroll with great hopes.
Unfortunately, the day had taken a bit of a turn and Chev now found himself in a bit of a predicament, half covering the snow he'd dislodged on this way though the little stallion craned his neck up to peer through the hole he'd created in the snow... apparently he'd wandered over the top of a large dip in the landscape, a place where the drifts were deep, quite a bit deeper it turned out then he was tall and of course he'd had the bad luck to break through.
This is what you get the pony chastised himself when you go wandering about strange areas when such places were hidden by the snow. "Hello!" He called out cautiously "Is anyone there?" His voice rose a bit louder "I could use a bit of help..."

 Eddie strode along on his daily patrol, blanket on his back and feathers in his hair neatly arranged. Very rarely did he get calls for help or needed to help someone, the sun glowed warm on his pelt and yet the snow wouldn't budge.
When soquili needed help he was happy to give it and on this day he herd a call.
His ears twitched upright and to the source, he began to make his way toward the voice until he found a ghostly looking usdia.
"Hello?"

Chev was beginning to think no one could hear him, just his luck to fall into a snowbank in an area no one wandered very often. How very typical, the little usdia thought to himself, peering about as he tried to think of a way out of this situation his own. He could do it he told himself briskly, he'd never let his small stature stop him from doing something before! Why should this be any different!
But even as these thoughts crossed his mind, his ear's twitched, was the crunching sound of hooves approaching? Had his calls at long last caught someone's attention - oh thank the maker if it had because despite his brave thoughts Chev really had no idea how he was going to get himself out of this mess. It was! the pony rejoiced as a shadow crossed the opening and he looked up to see the antlered stallion. "Oh thank goodness" The usdia breathed "I seem to have found myself in a bit of a predicament" he stated with an embarrassed laugh.

Eddie looked at the usdia with his head stuck out of the snow, "Oh dear, so I see. Are you okay? Well, apart from being stuck?"
Eddie looked around no-one else seemed to be there, he was quite worried that if he had bee stuck any longer he could've gotten hypothermia.
He tested the land around Chev by placing a hoof around the area.
"My names Eddie by the way." He nodded, the snow didn't seem as deep to him because he was quite a tall stallion descending from a very tall Angeni.
Eddie decided it was self to step on the land himself, so he crunched into the deeper snow"can you move you legs?"

"Well apart from being a tad cold, I think so" The Usdia responded, thankfully for him he hadn't been trapped all that long before Eddie had come along. Craning his head up to look at the stallion as he came closer Chev wished for a few moments that he was tall himself - but it was a fleeting desire, for the most part Chev was pretty satisfied with his lot in life. He had to admit though - there were certainly times when being taller would help. Times such as now. "Cheveyo" He introduced himself "Though most just call me Chev".
Chev tested his legs to see if they could move and the nodded to the antlered stag "I can...it's just to deep for me to make my way out of" He explained with a bit of a sigh. What an embarrassing situation to be caught up in, not that it was the first time he'd found himself in a bit of trouble because he bit off more then he could chew or did something foolish.
