There was once a legend, one that circulated the whispers and children's stories of Miyr. One of the strongest men in Miyr, the one whom was known only as "the stranger." It was said if you found him and bested all seven of his challenges you were given the title of Stranger as well as something special. What that special thing is, no one can be certain. but many believe it to be an item passed down from the gods. Its lucky then, that this year you found the man known as the stranger... only glory can await.
Rules: Only one challenger can participate at a time. The challenges are rapid fire, one after another with the rules being introduced in between challenges. Also so this thread doesn't get cluttered with people posting there stats, pm me if your interested in participating. No items will be allowed to be switched out between combat or during. Come with only what you need not backpacks full of legendary items. The CP and coincidentally the challenge will increase each round.

The legendary stranger didn't quite seem to meet the image of a legendary warrior. Wearing a large black apron and bashing a hammer against a forge the man seemed to sense your intent upon approach and his shoulder slumped visibly. "Oi, finish this up and get it out on the floor, make sure it shines like the evening sun. So help me Galec if I return and your drinking..." He trailed off into a set of expletives before removing his apron and throwing it on a rack. "I s'pose your here to take my name from me like others have tried before? Fine, it was nothing but a hindrance to me anyhow." Grabbing a pendent from his workbench he wrapped it around one arm and smiled roughly his mustache twitching with interest. "This should be enough to best ya, I think. So, Mr. Valentine... Don't look so surprised I'm the Stranger, and I'm a heck smarter than you. So why shouldn't I know your name already...? Here are the rules for the first challenge."
(First challenge rules: You get one round to lower the strangers health to zero. Since this is the first shot at this the strangers stats will be kept a secret. With each round you beat the previous rounds stats will become visible. This is the easiest round so pace yourself, rechargeable items will not recharge between rounds. You will however regain any lost health between rounds. Pm me any questions and I will answer as well as update the first post with the answer.)

Vincent assumes a ready position. "You honor me with this fight. Let this be a battle that none shall forget..." Vincent reaches up slowly, hesitating ever so slightly as he then grabs the hilt of the demonic sword. It immediately latches into his skin, not wanting to let go of this chance for use after having been denied its meals for so long. Vincent then charges in, faking a strike to the chest, then quickly spinning around the Stranger to strike at his back. He then drops low to the ground and spins, an attempt to sweep the Stranger's feet from under him. As his sweep finishes, whether successful or not he plants his off hand on the ground and heaves himself up to a standing, ready position.
((I no you said rechargeable items would not recharge between rounds. What about Child Title effects? Also, dice 1-3 for Demetry, dice 4-6 for Vincent's steel bracer stuns. And I rolled one extra by accident. My bad.))

((I'll allow titles to recharge since they are closer to being your characters own personal talents rather than an item benefit. I hope I don't regret this decision.))

Hitting the stranger was like striking steel, yet after your barrage he starts laughing profusely. "Your a good bit tougher than you look lad. I've seen dragons made of stone fall to less damage. Your power though seems tainted, and your attacks slow the more you feed that thing." He points at Vincent's Demon sword. "You didn't come to talk about that though I can tell, but it takes far more to become the Stranger than sheer power. You also need to harness the raw powers of the elements around you. This brings us to the second challenge."
Earned Rank: 1 Bull
(Challenge 2: Using only spells defeat the stranger before he defeats you. Anything that does magic damage will work for this combat. Special and normal damage won't accomplish anything and "non descript" damage wont cut it either, this needs to be a test of magical might.)

((Hrm...well isn't this the conundrum? Whelp...fiddlesticks. So, seeing as how Vincent doesn't even own a damaging spell that's worth a darn, with your permission I'd like to take this time to add my one leftover CP to magic, then buy a spell...and two potions of magic...crap this is gonna suck...If you allow it I'm stating here that I'm buying overblast and if you let me the two potions of magic as well.))

You would keep your rank and be able to start over again at this point anyhow later, but once again its up to you. I also don't have the authority to change your character sheet to add the cp and the spell/potions so if that's your choice I'm going to have to leave it to the honor system that you'll make those changes. I'm still kicking myself about not making it to Dm position. Unfortunately my time at college is still a margin more important.))

Time to look into this more...damn...That's an impressive minigame idea. And here I thought this would be...easier. Just goes to show I guess...)) Vincent steps back, forcing his holy energies into his blade and removing the tendrils by force. The blade shrieks in agony, anger and bewilderment as it is once again strapped safely on Vincent's back. "Your wisdom speaks volumes for your experience...it's my fault I suppose for thinking you could only command the martial arts...I must hone my training then, to be a better contender for the title of "The Stranger". This experience has been...enlightening, and I thank you for it. Good bye, Stranger. Till we meet again." ((Vincent will retire...for now.))
