I've had this Ouija board I bought for shits'n'giggles a while ago... After reading plenty of stories, I figured I'd try the puppy out tonight. I'm a newbie-empath, feeling only certain things*. I've been on one Ghost-Hunt, being their Empath and Camera-Operator.

But, back to the point. I haven't felt much energy for a few months, six at the least... So I'm not quite sure if there is anything here. That's why I figured I'd open me a vortex and chill with some ghosties.

What do you think? Good idea? Bad idea?

What should I do to make sure I don't get any Silly-Satans and Loopy-Lucifers? I'm not Christian, but would prayers work?

Well if you want to then go for it. Just to let you know that using such things is the equivalent of inviting any random stranger into your house. You have no control over who comes, and plus that whoever does come can just lie to you about who they are. If you do want to use it for the intent of causing some sort of supernatural activity then it would produce some results, just have some means of protection. Yes Prayers (Psalms) do help.

Spirits are nothing to be missed with. On other hand this is about Ouija boards. For one, the board is not going to work very well with out it properly blessed. Next, it is very possible that you might open a window or doorway that will allow any spirit through. So Its best to take precautions. Call for spirits guides, and do a blessing before and after you use the board. If there is a particular spirit you tend to call upon, which once again I don't advise but any who.. You should have a close personal object or picture of that person. The more attachment that the spirit had to the object the better chance the spirit will come to contact you. Next you should always be polite to the spirit in which you are contacting. I would probably offer them something in return for there patience of you contacting them, such as set flower or something of respect out side or something in honor of that spirit. When finishing up contact, be polite and ask them to leave nicely. This is the part were you start blessing your home afterwards. If the spirit refuses to leave, then you tell it to leave with a firm voice, If you have your spirit guardians there with you, they will help make sure the spirit leaves.

Next, the board is a tool. A spiritual tool. Commonly used for contacting spirits, but there are those who may use it for divination or mediation purposes. Or other purposes i have yet to think of. Like any tool, the danger is with how it is used. So use carefully, and learn more about what you are doing and about the spirit you are contacting if you are using it for that purpose.

Personally, i wouldn't see anything wrong with chilling with spirits. I mean I see them, so I don't bother with an Ouija board, and I do not recommending speaking with an unknown spirit- if you can't see them thats one, I mean you wouldn't be able to tell if its.. Harmful.
I'd recommend burning it. We wouldn't want any harm coming to you. Once someone is dead, and if they aren't doing any harm after their death, I do not believe it wise to just draw them out to "chill".

I'm not retracting that statement. I did forget to ask whether you've used it. Gah, why not have a garage sale... Sell it, and get cash or something.

I would burn it. Don't risk it. Bad things can happen with those things. Really bad things.
