Got permission for Goshu ;D
I thought we should have a new chat thread to encourage people to discuss and talk with fellow guild members. There is the chatterbox, which y'all should use, but it seems pretty dead. So here's this thread, and I suggest that we use it to post and talk about stuff we've drawn in the day, or talk about what other people are drawing. Might also be a good chance to ask people questions, like "How'd you do that?" or "Was that for part of a bigger project?" and so on.
Feel free to chat about what's going on here. Let's get to know each other a little better now that we've been drawing together a while.

I'll start things off by asking everyone to stop posting in the 130 [06-01-10] thread because that day has passed. Right now in Gaia time it's the 7th, so use the thread for the 7th.
It's cool to get a little disorganized but if we don't keep track of what was drawn each day it's gonna get hairy fast. Use the system in place. It works.
Oh and. Nychii. I'm completely in love with everything you've ever drawn heart

Hey Everyone. ^_^ These are the and comments I've secretly had for 1-6 and 1-7.
Archaic Monarchy: I really love the panels you have going on. Those lost few that weren't posted were pretty cute too. Nychii: I've always loved your art. What do you use? Sai? It's so neat and clean. LilRayna: That puppy is really cute. wink Rijgraden: Ogres? I would love to see them colored. Chalume: That's really neat. What program do you use? delicious lambchops: Those are some really clean lines. I like the detail in the braided hair. Okami No Kage_Arya_: Even if it's just a scribble, it would be more fun to see a doodle from today rather than long ago. wink The Egg Man: Wow. That's just really cool. Blue Feather Wings: I like the messy chibi. The head is fun to look at, especially with how clean it is and with more detail than the rest of the body. It would be fun to see it colored. Badeye: ^_^ I still like that one.

I think this'll be a good icebreaker, anyway. Because I don't know most of you, and thus don't think you give a s**t about anything I'd have to say in the chatter box.
Thanks Norne.

I'm sorry, I'm in a hurry to get offline today so I don't have time to comment on everyone's, again I'm sorry ><;;
So here's replies and one comment: @The Egg Man: Thanks, I appreciated it! ^__^ If you've seen stuff I've drawn way back when, I'm pretty sure you'd take back the statement of everything I've ever drawn XD and from what I remember I think you've got a very interesting style
@Norne: Thank you and yes, I'm currently using SAI, I used to use PS though. And if you zoom in enough, you'll see that it's not very neat and clean XD I'm very lazy, I've only recently started to lineart my pictures again, trying a new style
@Goshu: Dude, I just randomly went back and looked at some of the past pictures and there, in Day 121 I think, was this comic strip thingy that's animated and I was like 8d <-- jawdrop. That thing's amazing...! Did you use flash?

@Norne: yeah ogres and goblins. Character stuff for my friend for someone else to model. I would start sketching them on paper then scan then and pretty much redraw them in photoshop. If I felt inclined enough (and disciplined enough) I'd go thru and re-draw them with paths, but alas I'm not so he's getting stuck with these scratchy lines. Sure I'll color them and such. Gotta do the beauty shots, though I think I'll just do those with pencil strait to cleaning/coloring.
To like half you: crying *jealousy*

Do I have to skin you and use you as a rug before you'll realize that I think you're high-class!? ... You know I think I just understood why so many people i've known have told me i'm creepy. :< I'm just tryin to spread the love, man. @Rijgraden- I know the feeling, but try to let inspiration overwhelm the jealousy. I'm always getting blown away by other artists but the only thing to do is put your head down, draw like crazy, and keep trying to improve. If we keep at this one a day thing it should help. I think everybody just kinda forgets the chatterbox is up there. I certainly never remember to check it. There's the introduction thread too, but yeah, if you can't respond to it it's pretty easy to let it slip out your brain. So how long have y'all been drawing? Not for serious: since I could hold a pencil (and drew in pen all over my mom's bills, apparently) For mildly serious: Since pokemon For serious: Since I was about 12 For super serious: since I got some education in high school, so about 15 years old (I'm 20 now)

Not for serious: I used to draw stick figures and tweety and weird heart headed people all the time in elementary For mildly serious: Middle school, started to carry around sketch books For serious: High school. Lazy, should have graduated early, so got stuck for a year with 1 or 2 real classes a semester and 5 or 6 electives. For super serious: College. English major, but I bought a tablet. wink Wow, I'm older than you Badeye???

Chaulme, I just wanna say that I really love your drawing style. And thanks very much, I'm never too certain about anatomy and stuff... I wanna start checking and doing more life studies so it's not just hit-and-miss.
@Nychii- damn, I bet you're one of them prodigies, aint ya. But thanks for the kind words, Lately I'm working again so my energy level has dropped down out of existence. I'm a bit depressed all I have the brainpower for is random dudes with no clothes, but if someone else is enjoying it I won't feel so bad about posting v_v

@Badeye: XD you must be kidding me, I'm your age and I've been drawing for a while but I do have prodigy friends, makes me feel really old and inexperienced. I did take a life drawing course, yes learning anatomy does help quite a bit, I want to be at Goshu's level but that might take a while ><;; maybe 50 or so years but I'll keep at it
...yes, post more XD I can't draw muscular dudes :"<

My primary source of anatomy learning material is Bara doujin so I certainly ain't gonna judge you.
I know about the 'old and inexperienced' feeling. But I don't think it's gonna take you 50 years to get where goshu's at now. Maybe just a little more free time and study every day. I figure if I could motivate myself and use an hour of each day doing one life drawing study and actually finishing my pictures I'd be way better by the end of this year.
But I gotta fight with myself to get to that first. Just keep at it. You're really good and you'll only keep getting better if you keep at it.
