Everyday in the past week, after I've done my homework, I just go to the couch and sleep for maybe an hour. Its not uncommon for me to do so, but after four days straight my parents and I'm getting tired of it, no pun intended. I don't know if its because of homework stress, my recent switch to veganism, the fact that I started my period on Sunday, or a combination of all three. But I know I can start eating healthier to prevent couch slack. What vitamin/mineral should I start eating more and where can it be found?

Well, from one of four females in my house, I can say that if you started so recently, you might need iron. During the menstruation, it is important to keep your iron up so as to have energy. Try eating foods like spinach (Popeye! heart ) and other such things I am randomly forgetting right now (forgive me, it is 10:30ish, and I was just discussing physics and black holes and quasars and lasers and mirrors and all sorts of random stuff with my dad). Also, there are supposedly some sort of pill of pure iron to take once daily (we had them once, a while ago. Don't remember brand names or anything) that you chew, and it helps a lot. Other than that, just try going to bed earlier, or exercising, as exercise helps to give one more energy. Good luck with it all! ^^
