Chapter One: "Chasing Shadows: A Prelude"

It had been months since the last war between the dominant races, the Arrancar and the Shinigami, took place and since then, the two sides have enjoyed a relative amount of peace. The people on earth, who knew nothing of the goings-on in the other world, were just glad that there were no more unexplained deaths or mysterious disappearances or any of the negative externalities that they had experienced during that span of time. In fact, all of the races that were involved even held a neutral-grounds Christmas party to celebrate, to heal old wounds, and to forge new friendships with one another. Things slowly, but surely, began to take a new direction towards a path of mutual understanding and cooperation. However, this short respite was the last thing these different races would experience before everything would start to change.

It had been just a few days since the new year came, but there have been a sudden increase of deaths occurring within the area, three times the usual mortality rate. According to official reports from a joint investigation team composed of members from squad two, squad eight, and squad nine, these incidents were neither caused by Hollow activity nor Arrancar activity, but by something else although whatever that 'something' was, the Seireitei did not know. In addition to the increase in the mortality rate, several space-time anomalies have occurred in three different places around Karakura Town. In response to this, Central 46 ordered all available Shinigami under Vice Captain rank, including substitute Shinigami, to go to the designated spots where these anomalies were detected and ascertain the source of these strange phenomena and immediately report back after they have found the cause of the strange phenomena.

Chapter Two: "Accidental Invasion: Battle in the Hollow Fortress, Las Noches"

The appearance of the white knights took everyone by surprise because of the fact that nobody knew which side the knights held allegiance to. However, one thing was for certain -- the knights, the new wild card in the mix, were summoning and planting strange crystal obelisks for a purpose that only they know. At present, they have been successful in planting these monoliths at two different places: three on earth and another three in Las Noches. While these obelisks seemed to be rather harmless at the moment, unintentionally, they were the cause of one problem both the knights, Las Noches, and the Seireitei had never seen coming.

Upon the planting of the second triad of obelisks, the first triad sent out a pulse to make it known to the other triad that they were there. The release of that kind of energy, however, caused a miniature space-time anomaly which transported those Shinigami nearest to the obelisks on earth to the place where the second set of obelisks were planted -- Las Noches. For Jes and Temor, the two leaders of Las Noches, seeing the appearance of the Shinigami right after the obelisks were successfully planted inside their fortress was enough for them to assume that the Shinigami were invading Las Noches, presumably as retaliation for the previous invasion they had made before. In response, Jes ordered all Arrancar and Espada in action to intercept the supposed invasion and stop the Shinigami from initiating their plan even though the Shinigami were, in truth, simply victims of circumstance. However, for those Shinigami who were in Las Noches, there would be no turning back for doing so would mean death or capture. There was no other way; they must fight if they want to survive.

Chapter Three: "A Chance Meeting: Confrontation"

With the chaos in Las Noches, Ky had finally made his appearance. Disposing of the knights was nothing more than child's play to the leader of the Bounts, but one needed to ask as to why he had that kind of knowledge about the knights in the first place and how did he know the proper method of combating them? What relationship did Ky used to have with the shadowy organization that has been plaguing the world just recently? What would happen next? Those were the questions who's answers would be revealed later on, but for now, another storm is brewing on earth.

With Ky back at the manor, Powchii and Ky once again meet after they had gone their separate ways. With their brief history, one could only expect sparks to fly with their meeting, but Ky has more important things to deal with. All over the world, obelisks have began popping up and the appearance of the knights have become common news. Some wondered why the knights were here and labeled them as a terrorist organization, while others praised and glorified them as the representations of heavenly beings who have come from a higher plane of existence to bring salvation to the people. While the truth about the knights and the organization they work for still remains a mystery, the fact of the matter was that the presence of the knights was not limited to Karakura Town alone, but also to the world as well.

Who are the knights and what were they planning to do with these giant obelisks? What are they after?

Chapter Four: “Way to Armageddon: The Gathering Storm”

After a secret meeting with the head of Genesis, it was revealed that Ky once worked alongside with the aforementioned organization long ago. Their original plan, back when he was still affiliated with the organization, was to use the IMPLANTA system to initiate the ‘Hypnos Interface’, a grand three-part plan which would change the world. Literally.

The main goal of the Hypnos Interface, referred to as Operation Sublimation, would force all the people in the world to sleep and relinquish their physical bodies and become souls. Once done, these souls would be absorbed into the IMPLANTAs and transferred into CATHEDRAL’s, the Genesis Organization’s massive dimensional fortress, soul storage facility to undergo the Ritual of Cleansing and erase all the negative things they have, turning them into perfect, peaceful beings who are incapable of acts of aggression. However, something happened which only Ky and the head of Genesis knew, leading to Ky withdrawing support from Genesis and taking the heart of Operation Sublimation, KYRIE, with him.

With Genesis resurfacing after a time of obscurity, Ky knew that he had to finish things off once and for all. For this purpose, he started gathering support from the nations of the world and the spirit world to declare war on Genesis. However, what he did not know was that Genesis, too, were looking for support from the nations of the world and the spirit world. It was a period of calm, though this was the last bit of peace the world would taste before the fires of war would rage upon the world once more.

Chapter Five: “Countdown to Heaven: Revelations”

For many, the chaos began in the 13th of July. The forces of a united army under the direct command of KyCorp launched a simultaneous attack on key IMPLANTA obelisks across the world. Without the forces of Genesis to respond to their plight, a majority of these obelisks were destroyed, but in their stead, even more were planted faster than these armies could destroy them. Not willing to allow this to go on unanswered, the commanders of Genesis had a special unit silently infiltrate the Seireitei via squad nine and sealed off what used to be the Central 46 chambers and the dimensional line that separated the realm of the Spirit King with the Sereitei while the rest launched preemptive strikes on several KyCorp-affiliated military bases with the help of those countries in support of Genesis' cause.

Three months have passed and the war between Genesis and KyCorp has spread throughout the globe, and both sides have come to a stalemate. The IMPLANTAs have done their job and Genesis, with all their specialized magic-enhanced equipment, has been able to successfully initiate Operation Sublimation without much trouble and has already acquired and stored the souls of almost half of the global population while the massive KyCorp forces build up their remaining assets to launch a last-ditch effort to crush Genesis and end the conflict once and for all. In the middle of this all was the Sereitei.

With the war having escalated to the level it is right now, one could expect casualties to run high and both sides suffering the usual losses incurred during times of war. With the influx of souls flooding the Sereitei, the Shinigami have had their hands full on trying to maintain order even in such harsh conditions while at the same time trying to do their duty of protecting the humans from the Hollows, a majority of which unaffiliated with Las Noches, who have been capitalizing on the war to consume as much human souls as they can so they could get stronger.

With everything in such sheer chaos and disarray, an unseen entity lurks in the shadows; a being who had been watching and waiting since everything began. With neither sides knowing anything about it, the gears of a sinister plan have already begun to turn.

Squad Two Reconnaissance Division

In lieu of the sudden inactivity of squad nine, we have conducted an assessment of the situation on the human world and the results were quite startling. A large number of unaffiliated Hollows have invaded several parts of Karakura Town and have been attacking souls as well as innocent civilians.

Although we have already dispatched several Shinigami to aid substitute Shinigami Kurosaki Ichigo's party to quell the situation, their numbers seem insufficient to deal with the Hollows while performing soul burial on the souls that have been affected by the war. It is with this thought that we request all available shinigami to help in the effort and either exterminate the Hollows attacking Karakura Town or perform soul burial on the souls in Karakura Town.

We are in dire straits and all we need all the assistance we can get. We hope for your cooperation.

Chapter Six: “Myriad Truths: The Girl Who Sings At The End of the World”

With the Will of the World giving him the answer he had hoped for, Xeion connected with the hearts and souls of every soul on the planet and activated his most powerful trump card, his Bankai, with the help of the Soul of the Cosmos having seen the Will of the World. A bright flash of light enveloped after the former captain of squad nine uttered his release phrase for his Bankai, forcing Hari into the dimension in which every living soul, including Xeion himself, was located at. To aid them in their confrontation with the corrupted Hari, the souls had at their disposal unfathomable power that was only limited by their imagination. Now, all of existence will be put to the test as the clash between something that cannot be defeated against the collective wills of people who have unlimited potential begins.

In the end, only one side will be left standing.

Reminders

- You are allowed to do anything you want, but do direct it only at Hari and nobody else.

- Having that said, please note that, while you are allowed to auto-hit him and auto-dodge his attacks, nobody will automatically be able to instantly kill Hari with an attack.

- Powers obtained in this battle will be null and void after the battle. This means that, while you now have an avenue to literally go all out, once it is over, you will be back to your RPC's previous power level and abilities prior to the release of Xeion's Bankai.

- Please be respectful to higher officers. While all of you equally have unlimited power, they are still of higher rank than you.
