Ellie was not normally a movie person. It was expensive, it required you to sit still for a couple hours, and most times the stories weren't very good. However, there was something about watching transforming robots kicking each other in the a** that appealed to the tomboy. She had gone into the theater, scoffing at the price of her ticket, avoiding the concession stand altogether, and sat herself someplace by herself. She wasn't so weak willed to not be seen in a theater by herself. In all honesty, the blonde preferred it, since most times if she went with her friends (who were all guys), there would be that misunderstanding that she was on a date.

Ellie did not do dates. At all.

Before leaving the house, she had drained herself of all liquid so she didn't need to make a restroom break in the middle of the movie. You pay over 10 dollars to watch the damned movie, you might as well see the whole thing, right? As expected, the movie itself wasn't too fantastic, but the real reason the tomboy had come to watch this film was to see all the special effects with the machines. There was something about seeing a sports car turn into a giant robot that seemed to tickle her fancy. The motorbike robots also were pretty kick a**! When the film was all over (with its less than satisfying ending), the blonde just kicked back and watched through the whole series of credits. One, there was no crowd trying to leave after the credits, and two, she might as well appreciate all the work that went into this overly expensive film.

When the employees at this fine facility started to skitter in to clean, the girl lazily hoisted herself up and out of her seat, heading towards the exit. This film definitely had not been worth her money. With her hands thrust in her pockets, she turned around and leaned against the handle that opened the door to the exit. It was a Saturday night, and now Ellie didn't have much to do.

What to do, what to do?

"Hmmmmm?"

Glancing around behind her, through the glass of the door she had just pushed open, she found some girl. Her natural reaction to pain or suffering on someone else's behalf was to laugh. So she did.

"Oh sh*t, kid!" she chuckled out. "Didn't yer momma ever tell ya t'look where yer goin' when yer walkin' 'round?" Slipping away from the door she held open, she approached the girl and offered her a hand to hopefully hoist her up.

Find this an appropriate time as any, the girl grinned and offered an introduction of sorts. "I go by Ellie. What 'bout you, kid? Y'gotta name?"

"Emmeline, eh? That's a pretty girly name."

Oh Ellie, what tact you had.

Her eyes couldn't help but casually note that this girl was freaking out. Her ears couldn't help but also note this exact same observation.

"Dude, seriously, don't have a sh*t fit!" She didn't really seem to care too much, at least based off her tone, but her eyes looked about the floor for a moment, as if trying to find whatever it was she had lost. Not finding anything within three seconds, she paused her search and looked at the girl who was frantically scouring the area for her lost possession.

"Y'know, I can't help y'find whatever it is y'lost if y'don't tell me what it is. What the hell am I lookin' for?"

"A pen?"

This girl was so worked up over a pen?! If Ellie actually put a bit of thought into it, maybe she could have figured out that maybe this pen was as important as her own Henshin pen.

Maybe, but it was highly unlikely the blonde would have figured that out.

"Well, maybe if y'weren't wanderin' around with yer head in th'clouds, y'wouldn't have lost it. Where th'hell were y'walkin' from? Y'know, tracin' yer steps backwards and the what-not."

The tall girl wandered away from the door slightly and began to let her eyes trace along the sidewalk, first in one direction, then in another. Nope, no pen in sight. Another thought popped into mind, and the blonde shared it without hesitating. "Do y'even know if y'brought it with ya tonight?"

Rather than be any help at this point, all the tomboy did was simply watch as the girl threw herself at the feet of other people. This girl was pretty pathetic, searching for a pen like she was going to die without it. However, it was supplying her a decent amount of amusement.

Never one to hold back her laughter, Ellie started to chuckle as this girl literally got walked all over. She probably would have kept laughing if it weren't for the shriek of some lady down the street. Unless the lady was completely drunk out of her mind and a very loud drunk, she figured there might be some sort of trouble. Haphazardly, she tossed out a "Well, good luck findin' yer pen, Emmy!"

Without an explanation, she then ran down the street towards the commotion. In an alleyway, a few people were running out towards the street as if they had just stared death in the face and sh*t themselves as a result. These were the perfect signs of a Youma attack. She ran into the dark alleyway, looked around quickly as if to judge if it would be safe to transform, then leaned down to pluck her henshin pen from her sock.

"IRIS ASTEROID POWER, MAKE-UP!!!"

Things were about to get serious!

Ellie, this is your brain, and it is telling you to try give it some attention at some point. It would love to be used so you can avoid situations like the one going on right now.

Of course, all notions of using her brain weren't exactly on the top of her list at the moment.

"Who? If yer talkin' bout that girl, I saw her run down that way, but I wouldn't go that way if I were you."

Yes Sailor Iris, lying was totally going to keep your secret safe, wasn't it? Rather casually, she tore at the bow on her butt before pointing towards where she suspected the Youma had gone. "Look, kid, just get outta 'ere if y'wanna stay safe!" As if trying to lose some sort of annoying toddler that was trying to cling to her heels, the Sailor Scout bolted forward, running after the monster she had yet to really catch a glimpse of. It really couldn't have gotten too far.

She ran until she got to a dead end. A dead end with an unconscious body sprawled out on the ground. This was not a good sign, and Sailor Iris could not help but tense up slightly from anxiety.

"Come out, come out, where ever you are" she called out, attempting to make it sound teasing when in reality it was just out of pure fear. Her eyes traced along the walls surrounding the area and didn't really catch anything unusual.

Which was exactly what the Youma had been hoping for. The moment this foolish Sailor Scout's eyes were off of it, it began to move. Slowly and carefully, the spider-like Youma trailed down the wall. It was hard to see solely because it looked as if it was made of the bricks along the building behind it. Each time the Sailor Scout's eyes fell upon it, the Youma's body froze. This was a game of survival. And this time, the Sailor Senshi would be the prey. With a sudden leap from the wall, the Youma attacked, pouncing on top of Sailor Iris.

"Oh F*CK A DUCK!!!" she shouted as she was pinned to the ground. Her eyes were wide and looking at the fangs of this strange monster, trying her best to push it off of her, but finding the Youma extremely heavy.

God damn it!

Fortunately for both of the Sailor Scouts, the Youma itself only looked like it was made of brick. If there was a camera recording the whole ordeal, a slow motion take of the monster's expression twisting into one of pain would have been priceless.

Too bad there was no camera to be had.

Even though the kick to the monster's gut had gotten the creature to stir, it was rather firmly planted on top of Sailor Iris. While the Super scout beneath it attempted to push it off of her, the Youma turned to face the intruder, hissing in an almost feline fashion, snarling just enough to show its fangs. "You weren't invited!" it hissed in retaliation. Almost possessively, the Youma leaned in further against its prey, using all six legs to pin the scout down securely.

Underneath the monster, Sailor Iris finally had to belt out "God, your breath REEKS!!! Wouldn't be surprised if my face melts off because of your breath! Ungh!!!" Here she was, about to probably have her starseed taken, and she was complaning about bad breath.

Go figure.
