Sol was wrapped up in his jacket, It was pulled tight around him because he was freezing, He was trying to look as sexy as possible but it was snowing and he was freezing and he was not happy. He grumbled as he stuck his hands in his pockets while he kicked the snow that he walked over. He was looking for someone to talk to, yet he was having no luck.

Ath seemed completely oblivious to the world around her… not much of a difference then usual really. The snow drifted softly down, its fluffy white standing out against her red hair. She flipped the page to the book on her lap easily,, it was obvious she was farrrr gone into the story, to have not even notice that her hands were rather purple in color, and she was pale faced. The wrap she had on covered her shoulders, her bust (or lack there of) and arms, up unto the bare hands. Little of the rest of her was dressed warmly, seemed the hopeless romantic was as dangerous to her health as reading was to her eyes.

Sol stumbled and almost fell onto the girl as was paying more attention to her and her outfit rather than to his steps. " Your gunna kill yourself doll." He mumbled to her trying to stuff his hands deeper in his jacket, " Your gunna catch pnemonia with that little bit of clothes your wearing." He let one of his signature smiles cross his face as he licked his chapped lips, " Not that I'm complaining... I'd like to see you in less."

Something about either the foot on her leg, or the familiar voice snapped Ath out of her other world. The better world she was living in for just that moment. She looked up, her fierce green eyes meeting the others, before a flicker of recognition crossed them.
“You really should learn who to piss off.” She grumbled, standing up and brushing the snow off of her clothes,. The pile that had gathered on her head managed to fall off and land directly on her book. “GODDAMN IT TO HELL.” She groaned literally banging her head with the book. “it was a first edition, dad is going to KILL me.”

"Its a book man..." Sol muttered to her watching her skeptically. He never was one to respect books. " So little lady... how you doin'? You look f'in sexy." he told her with a smile as he let his eyes slip up and down her body once again. " An' now am I pissing you off all I did was tell you how damn good you look... you like christmas dinner for my eyes."

Glares, setting her jaw, and unclenched it only to spit out words. “you really are a babbling idiot you know that. We have met before and I have stated quiet clearly, with a book to your FACE, I’m not interested.” Shudders involuntarily and looks around. Where… was she? Everything snow covered was like a New World… one where she felt completely, and utterly … lost. “A first edition book is priceless. Stupid… male.” Stalks off in the other direction, not knowing exactly where she was going.

The young male rolled his eyes walking towards the female, " I think your just scared of me 'cuz I'm so sexy." He told her as he walked after her, " How are you not live freezing that hot a** off, Its snowing and you in like no clothes." He said to her rolling his eyes as he thought about her comment on the book. To him a book was just a bunch of letters on pages, It wasn't anything special

“oh how can I be so transparent, I want you, I need you, oh baby, oh baby” rolls eyes and continues walking, though a small smile tugged at the corners of her lips. “and I am not wearing nothing, this is a wrap, it covers most of my body, and I’m perfectly fine with boots and a skirt. My father is very old fashioned.” Athena looked around again, sensing some familiarity but not much… which even if it was much that could be anywhere,.. the kitten liked to explore, and her parents had been much more lax since their favorite left.

The male rolled his eyes at her, " yeah yeah..." He muttered stopping and putting his hands on his hips, " Do you even know where your going?" He had been around enough to know that they were close to where the humans were and he wasn't going anywhere near humans, not after what he had been threw, " your about to walk yourself right into a death trap." He told her shaking his head slightly at her.

Athena stopped and looked back at him exasperatedly. He could not be the only option to find somewhere warm and comforting. Goddamn it, and him to hell. “I don’t suppose you know your way to somewhere warm.” She paused, adding the last in just for good measure. “With other people?” Ath was desperate, but she wasn’t that desperate, if she had to be alone with him, she would find her way through the ice and snow on her own. Why did he have to take her from the sunny mythical land in the book? Her ears flattened, as she looked him over, a disgrace to his own gender. But maybe he would grow out of it. She shook her head, wandering forward again. “your just screwing with me.”

The male didn't move he just watched her take a few steps, " You can keep walking that way and walk right into the middle of one of the busiest neighborhoods around, Or you can follow me back to teh aquarium and you can wait there till Mom comes back then she can walk you back to your precious daddy." He muttered to her crossing his hands over his cheast, " I have hot choclate, a warm blanket and a warm room you can go in and stop that frostbite your getting." He mumbled looking at her hands, " I might even loan you a jacket..."

Silently she looked at him, weighing his words, biting back curt remarks, but all she could settle for was a weak. “You better not be lying to me.” She stepped forward, closer to him then she had been in awhile, since she had slapped him with the book, and stood there. Ath had little feeling in her hands now, and if it hadn’t been for that she wouldn’t have followed him. “Well, what are you waiting on, lead the way.”

Sol watched the girl for a second before he shook hsi head at her, " This way." He said leading her threw some treed and threw a dark alley, It wasn't long before the two were at the aquarium. " Now Doll... Why would I have ever lied to you?" He asked her as he slunk around the people, He knew this place like the back of his hand, he'd spent countless hours here. " I might be a p***k... but I'm not that big of a p***k... I wouldn't ever let your fine a** freeze like you were."

Ath openly gaped at the aquarium… how had she never heard of this place before? She wandered forward, not listening to sol at all, only wondering… how the hell do you fit a fish that size into a building like that and still have it alive? –what she didn’t realize was that she was staring at a replica of a giant fish on the front of the building- “truly… amazing.” She mumbled. Giving another involentary shiver at the thought of so much water… water and snow equaled ice, or an icecube cat in her case. Ath looked over at sol, a whole new impression upon her. “You live here?”

The male shrugged, " Mom runs the place... or well she pretty much runs it. The master dude a*****e thing he isn't ever aroudn so mom took it upon herself to take care of the place." He muttered walking into the small kitchen area roxy had made. " Why baby girl you wanna stay?" He asked with a smirk

She looked around again, following him kinda like a zombie, just trying to take it all in, she didn’t even notice the smirk anymore, it was just a part of this strange male that had lead her to this beautiful place. “Quite… possibly. Though I don’t know how you could eat fish after visiting here, let alone living here.” Feeling a bit better Athena took off her wrap, leaving her in the corset she had taken to wearing and her skirt. She walked forward, a bit out of the room they had entered, peering around the corner at the displays of the other fish she hadn’t seen coming in. “its beautiful.”

The male laughed, threw his head back and laughed, " These things breed like crazy, Then they get too many of the ugly ones they toss them out, you learn to love eating fish... they have tons of carts sellign fish sticks and fish bites... in fact fish is all I eat." He mumbled to her before his jaw fell open as he notices she had taken off her wrap. " Holy hell baby doll." He mumbled to her rubbing his hands together. " Your body is rockin' my world."

Athena blinked a few times, facing the person that brought her here, a light blush illuminating her face. “what… are you talking about?” Shifting a bit Ath jumped up, remembering the book. THAT was at least something she understood. She flicked her hair out of her eyes with little success, her bangs were a tad bit longer then she liked, but she could deal. Her dad had put her on a budget after her last … exploration to the book store, and she didn’t trust her mum anywhere near her face with a sharp object. Athena leafed through the sodden pages, finally opening them up to the most damp and parting the book, it feel open easily on the spine, (it was a very old book ) the pages ruffling heavily. She took little notice of Sol a she did this, leaning over the table easily, despite being tightly laced in the constricting device.

The male had crossed the room and quickly he ended up behind her, His hands resting on her hips and pulling her into his body, " I said your body was rockin' my world." He muttered to her in a low voice. He didn't care that she didn't want him, He didn't respect women and he knew he was probably gunna get smacked but it was worth a try.

Immediately at the contact Ath bristled, her eyes narrowed dangerously at the pages in front of them. “Please excuse me, its not that I don’t appreciate you helping me…” she trailed off, raising a hand and connecting her fist to his face. “but don’t you EVER, EVER touch me without my permission again or I will rip off your ball sack and feed it to the fishes.” She grabbed him by the shoulders threateningly, giving him one good shake, debating on kneeing him in the balls.

The male hadn't been expecting this, he had expected more of a slap across the face. " s**t." He groaned closing his eyes as her knee connected with his balls, he sucked in a breath before his knees buckled and he crossed his arms over his self holding his now throbbing groin. " Not ******** cool!" He gasped out his eyes shut tight.

“And it’s ******** cool for you to try to take advantage of me? I told you NO, I may be ******** female but there is no way in hell that I am weak.” So Sol was getting a crash course in how NOT to treat women, perhaps if he got knocked in the nuts enough he would get over himself and realize women were, if not better than, at least equal to any man. “Worthless, pathetic, womanizing scum. I hope you never reproduce. Taking advantage of who you will. I cant STAND people like you.” Athena grabbed her book, pulled on her wrap and stalked toward the door. Sighing heavily as she reached it and looked back, not because of what happened, but because she felt sorry for the poor b*****d, and his mother.

Of course the little jerk wasn't going out with out the last world, " Yeah well your a b***h anyways. I only wanted you for your body!" He yelled at her trying not to cry, The blow she delt to his balls had sent him to the verge of tears. " b***h!" He grumbled. not only was his oversized ego bruised but he was hurt, no one had ever said something to him like that, Val had spanked him once and ath had gave him a good slap with the book but that was the only punishment he'd ever gotten.

Athena spun around, upset, clearly. Her face was blotchy red, and she obviously was refraining from crying. The b*****d. “at least I’m not some pathetic, wannabe lover-boy who cant get any a** because he cant even take care of himself.” Something had happened to Ath, something she hadn’t even told her father that made her all the more cautious of males. So what the little p***k had just done had set her off in every way. She could feel no sympathy for the male holding his groin. She hoped it was permanently damaged. “The only reason filth like you exist is to keep the rest of us honest. So Shove it and take a Midol, maybe that will help your lack of any real balls.” She shook her head tiredly, “I feel sorry for your mother

Sol ground his teeth together, He wasn't in the mood to deal with this girl being a b***h like this, " Don't drag my mother into this!" He snapped making his way to knees, " At least she's stronger than your mother, she can protect herself from men she dosen't want." He grumbled narrowing his eyes at her, He hated people talking about Roxy, She'd worked her a** off to protect him and he wasn't going to let anyone talk bad about her.

Sadly she shook her head, sighing softly. “you need … to train yourself. You cant treat people like that, or your never going to grow up. My mother not being able to defend herself wasn’t the issue, my mother … being vulnerable from… people like you believing that they actually cared, kinda like I just did, but that isn’t the issue. My mothers problem gave me the best little sister a girl could ask for. So don’t even go there. I never insulted her, I insulted you, because you are insulting her every time you do something like this.” Athena actually took a step forward and shook her head, stepping back again, she wouldn’t –couldn’t help him- “and I’ll tell you something, I happen to be just like my mother.”

Sol snorted, " right." He grumbled not being happy about all of this, She was infact starting to make him feel bad. Was Roxy disgraced by his actions? He bothered him just to think about it. If it wasn't for Roxy he would still be stuck with the humans so he was protective over her, and he wanted to make sure she was happy with everything he did. " I know how to protect myself." He mumbled to her, " You just caught me off guard." He said sucking on his teeth and looking away from her.

Athena nearly screamed in exasperation. “That doesn’t matter! How you treat other beings matter! If you hadnt… touched me, or said those horrid things I could have quite possibly liked you, but now… you are just like every other rapist I have ever met.” Ath was actually crying now, something that almost NEVER did. It was hard… seeing someone throwing away their life, so unwilling to change the simplest thing. Ashamed she turned her face from him, touching the door jam with her forehead, thankful for the cold solidness of it. Her face was burning up, but her body remained cold.

" I'm not a rapeist." Sol said firmly, " I haven't ever forced myself on someone like that..." He told her, He was no so pissed off that he could cry. Sol didn't respect women but he wouldn't ever do anything like that. " I wouldn't ever do anything like that." He told her tears of anger spilling over his eyes. He didn't know what else to say, He wanted so badly to tell her off but then again he wanted to defend himself. He was confused and he had no idea what to do now. " Geeze." He snapped.

Stiffly she turned towards him, sniffling and keeping her eyes closed. “what? What would you call what you just did. You took me home with you, insulted me touched me against my will, and no one is here. That’s exactly what happened to mum. A friendly face and a facade.” Ath slid down the door jam, bringing her knees up and resting her forehead on them. “its why mum insisted we all take some kind of defense class. Part of which you just experienced first hand, the lighter stuff mind you.” Somehow, though she wasn’t completely sure how she managed to keep her voice steady, a bit weak, but steady all the same. People that had gone through a lot tended to do that, kept the tears hidden, in some way.

" See a rapist woulda kept going, If you said stop. I would have. Said a few things about you wanting to wait for later or soemthgin and I would have stopped. My mother taught me better than to just take what I wanted in that sense. I felt you up... If you can even call it that... and you tried to lodge my nuts in my throat." He muttered finally being able to breathe right after what she had done to him. " There's plenty of people here, Nicholas... Puff, Were not alone," He told the female sitting back and crossing his legs over one another. " I'm not a monster, a player... a slut a whore what ever you wanna call me that's fine but I'm not a monster."

Ath remained silent, curled up within herself, back in that wonderful place that books took her. She didn’t want to hear, she didn’t want to know what the hell was going on anymore. Normally the strong one, she wasn’t used to feeling overpowered, so she simply shut down, her head still resting against her knees, her body still trying to decide what temperature it wanted to be. She didn’t feel it…. She didn’t want to. She had enough monsters in her closet already, adding anymore would overflow into the whole house. He had hit a sore spot with her mum, mentioning the rape… she knew her dad had tracked him down and ripped him to shreds, but it wasn’t enough. He should have drawn out the mans misery, brought him to his knees to beg before cutting off bits of his body he would miss.. But just like her mum, like her, for the most part her family were for healing, not hurting, certainly not killing.

She was trembling and Sol could see it, She must have been cold. He stood and walked to his closet getting out one of his signature coats he draped it over her before sitting back against the wall furthest from her, " You know... it dosen't help if you don't say anything. It still makes me look like the monster." He mumbled to her closing his eyes and tilting his head so it rested against the wall, The male swollowed hard and shook his head trying not to feel like the worlds biggest a*****e.

Athena remained completely unresponsive, only flinching when the jacket being draped over her shoulders. After a substantial bit of silence, warming her up enough to make her feel at least a bit comfortable, she peered cautiously over her knees at him. Silent still, but it was a start. Not quite sure of herself she watched. At least he was giving her room now… also a start. Seemed like there was going to be no easy out for him.

She wasn't talking back at him and he sure as hell wasn't going to waste breath on trying to get her to talk. " Fine..." he muttered letting himself slide over so he was laying on his back and looking up at the celing, there were pipes running over his head obviously running water to and from tanks, " dont' talk... see if i care. Mom should be back soon she can take you home... She knows her way around here better than I do." He mumbled pressing his palms to his eyes, He didn't know why but he was feeling horrible, no one had ever made him feel like this. " ********." He sighed

Ath blinked a few times, before sighing herself and mopping at her eyes. At least he seemed to be thinking about what she had said. She needed…. Something to do though, sitting here, in this atmosphere was… driving her mad as an understatement. “I…. I need…” she sighed dragging his coat tighter around her and burring her face in the fur, It was no use. She shouldn’t have said anything. Her voice sounded as pathetic as she felt. Athena closed her eyes and kept them that way, a bone warring tiredness filling her.

" Need?" Sol asked turning his head towards her and raising an eyebrow, His yellow and blue eyes watching her still a bit clogged with tears. " Food? Something to drink?" He asked not sure of what to say to her, He didn't want to piss her off by saying anything bad to her. " I can't help you if you don't finish your sentence baby do... " He paused thinking about the words he was about to use. " You gota help me out there. I can't read minds." He said with a small sigh now propped up against his elbow watching her.

The female looked at him, feeling utterly helpless, and quite useless. “I… need to walk, but… I don’t know, my way around here.” It was a difficult thing for ath to admit her weaknesses, for there weren’t many. Damaging books, Idiot boys, people mentioning her mums ‘accident’, and Directions. All of which seemed to slap her in the face as she went through the day. She needed comfort, but the only person she saw around was Sol, who had been a main cause of her distress. Goddamn the world sometimes. Who she needed was her twin phos, he helped her lighten her mood always. But considering she was stuck here until said mother showed up, well… it was going to be difficult to say the least.
